What's up everyone? All right? Well, today is day 18 of the Small Account Challenge and a small green Day One trade. That's it. In fact, I wish I had, uh, just done one creating my big account because it's a red day in the big account. but uh, Small Account Challenge 138.97 So making progress slow and steady? Come on in girl.
So I'll be back at it. Day 19. uh, you know, But right now we're in definitely slow August. Uh.
trading. This is very typical and one of the reasons I did the small Account challenge uh, here in, uh, the summer was because I knew it's a slow period for my big account. So I was like, that's kind of an okay time to put the big account a little bit on the side and focus on a small cam challenge when the market starts to heat back up, which is typically in the Fall. That's when I'm not going to want to focus as much on the small account.
I really want to focus on the large account when the market's hot and really try to capitalize on that opportunity. You know, we have windows of opportunity in the market. There's ebb and flow, and when you have a window, you really want to capitalize on it as much as possible because those profits will have to tide you over during the inevitable slow periods in the market. So anyways, um, it's a little slow in the market, but got one trade 138.97 and uh, it's a good good day green day for Day 18.
so I hope you enjoy the recap. As always, in case you didn't already know, trading is risky. Most beginner traders lose money. I'm writing my big account today.
You can check out that recap separately if you want, but you know, easy come easy go. But my results are not typical you should assume as a beginner you'll lose money. and with that assumption in mind, trading a simulator before you put real money on the line. Do yourself that favor.
I hope you enjoyed the recap. Hit the thumbs up and I'll see you for Day 19. what's up everyone? All right? Well today is day 18 of the small Account Challenge and I finished the day up 138 bucks 98 97 cents. Um, Cyto had breaking news at 9 00 a.m see the headline right there.
So news broke on this and I jumped in it at Uh 3 38. Looking to ride, the momentum popped up to 350 360 wasn't able to hold that level, which was kind of disappointing, but I ended up getting out at 351 average. so 338 to 351 approximately. Uh 138.97 So that's good, but uh, hey, you know it's one trade green trade.
We are definitely in slow summer August trading. There's not a lot of momentum right now. We're not seeing a lot of parabolic, you know moves. We saw a little bit on Robin Hood, a little bit on Bysi, but those are both higher priced so you know that's part of the deal.
Uh, August is not the best time of year to start a small account challenge and I knew that, which. Well, I started in July, but I knew July and August wasn't the best time of the year, But I thought that made it actually for me a good time to do the small account challenge because, um, it's I'm taking focus away from my large account to trade the small account and I wouldn't really want to do that during a super hot time in the market. So during it during doing it during the cold time, the market works for me. And you know, if you can be green during the cold stretches, then that bodes well for when things pick back up. So I'm making progress. The account balance this morning started at 7 500. versus my initial starting balance of 4 300. So progress is being made slow and steady and I will, um, keep it up.
So anyways, that's about it for me. Uh, kind of a short recap here for day 18, but got green staying green and I'll live to trade another day so I'll see you guys back at it for day 19. notice that a lot of your winning trades are mostly from Premarket. Is it harder for you to trade later in the day? For most of us we wouldn't be trading pre market realistically even see you at 4:30am for example. is it hard for you to win trades during market hours?

So if I’m profitable in cold months I should be fine in hot months. What are the hot months in the market?
