Sorry, if i don't see myself in this video, i've got a pretty big issue on my hands at the moment and, sadly, i've got a feeling, i'm not the first to experience this problem and certainly not the last. I woke up the other morning and tried logging onto my instagram account to reply to my dms and chat with you guys, as i normally would, but instead of being greeted by your great messages, i was faced with a pop-up informing me. My account had been suspended.

What makes this entire situation even more frustrating is this sort of thing is happening to creators every single day across various platforms, and they have no way to speak out. So that's why i'm making this video as an open letter to anyone at instagram. Some of you may have noticed this, as for the past few days, my instagram account has disappeared with no warning or correspondence from instagram. It's like i've, just been completely counseled or perhaps just vaporized for no obvious reason.

When my account first got cancelled, i was pretty sure i'd done nothing wrong, but as they made me wait 24 hours before i could make an appeal. I really started to doubt. Myself was i missing something, or had i made a mistake that i was unaware of so i have four theories as to why this has happened and i'd love to share them with you and see what you think. Personally, i believe number four is the most plausible, but to be honest, it could be any of them.

So my first point of call was to review instagram's terms and conditions carefully and after looking at them all, i don't seem to have violated any of the rules. Theory number one is advertising. Some advertising regulations are a bit of a gray area, but i turn down 99 of all. The brand deals i get offered and i only advertise the free stock offers with well-regarded brokers, they're, not misleading, and they really do help kick-start a new investor's journey into becoming financially free.

So if instagram deleted my account over this, then i'd be very surprised, especially without any warning or notice. Theory number two is something i hadn't even thought about, but a friend recently brought this to my attention and it's definitely worth considering and that's logging in from another location. It might sound silly, but seriously there are people out there that claim their social media accounts were suspended due to logging in from somewhere. They shouldn't have a good example of this would be logging in from an ip address that an instagram user has previously been banned from this is terrifying, as it's impossible to know where you can log in and where you can't.

I really do hope. It's nothing like this, as i can't see how i could avoid this situation, particularly as i travel a lot around the uk and in normal times all around the world theory number three is mass reporting. Could i hate to have mass report, in my account somehow with a bot or group? This is definitely something i've considered. However, i would like to think instagram systems will be able to detect this and not take action against any account due to an invalid report.

Imagine if it was just that simple, every business would just mass report their nearest competitor and get them wiped off the platform completely. So i'm fairly confident it wasn't something like this, but it definitely can't be ruled out. Theory number four, which i believe is the most possible, is that my real account got mixed up with all the fake mark tilbury accounts, which are being set up to impersonate me. The real annoying thing is that there are currently around 10 fake accounts.

Pretending to be me and they're still up, whereas my real account has been taken down. There is also one fake account pretending to be my son. I report every scam account i see, but it never seems to make any difference now that my real account has been taken down. It leaves these scam accounts.

Looking more legitimate, i've been asking to be verified for more than six months now, but with no response, i've been verified on youtube and tick tock for around a year now. So what's the problem, i'm even currently working on an interview with the financial times. The thing that worries me is this leaves guys out there that want to follow me clicking on to fake accounts and possibly getting scammed, and this is a hundred percent. What i'm against and makes me very angry, i confronted one of these scammers who was pretending to be me a few months ago.

He first asked me how old i was so i pretended to be 15 years old and i had a thousand dollars saved up. He told me to go and withdraw the cash and to buy bitcoin. I asked if i could start off with just 10. As i was a bit worried.

I didn't have much. He then told me, and you won't believe this. If you want to be successful, then you need to stop asking questions and be patient. If someone ever says to you, stop asking questions then get out of there asap.

If you need to ask it, then it is never a dumb question. He sent me his bitcoin wallet address so that i could forward the money to him. However, as many of you already know, every bitcoin transaction is public, though i could use this wallet address to see how many people he had successfully scanned pretending to be me. I was shocked by the amount, so i told him i wasn't sure, where to send the bitcoin, so i sent him a graphify link, hoping that he would just click on it and i managed to track him down all the way to a street in ia.

Thank you pleasant, green for the tip. I asked him if he was on a business trip and he told me he was working on a video and i said, whereabouts, ia. So i sent him a picture of his address and told him to remove the account as well as informing the police. However, i doubt they'll take much action against him.

This is a problem that instagram should be sorting out a lot faster than they do. The real problem is as soon as these accounts are created, they block my real account, so i'm unable to find them and report them. They clone my entire account by copying all my photos and videos buy a load of fake followers and then follow all my fans in the attempt to scam them, just as we saw as soon as i post their usernames on my story. They just change it slightly and now i can't even fight against them without my account, there are also countless pages stealing my videos and uploading them to their instagram accounts, and i have no power to do anything about it.

So how can i be suspended from instagram and not the scammers pretending to be me, and why am i not verified when i currently have over 7.5 million followers across multiple platforms? It makes zero sense. The only solution i can think of is if instagram created a copyright system, a lot like youtube's, and then i would be able to take down the fake account instantly rather than waiting weeks for instagram to review and then end up taking down my real account and Making the whole problem even worse, so until i'm back up on instagram just remember, i will never ask you to send me any money or bitcoin, i'm all about helping you guys to make money. So why would i ask you for it? I am literally the polar opposite of a scammer. My mission is to make personal finance and investing more fun and exciting for the younger generation, something the school should have been teaching us for years, but they still don't see it as the priority it should be.

I always think to myself how much more financially aware everyone would be if they made us open up an investment account and started teaching us long-term. Investing at 16 compound interest would have just blown my mind. You don't need lots of money to invest, but you do need to invest to have a good chance to have lots of money. This isn't the end of the world.

For me, i run multiple businesses and this is a passion project, but it must be absolutely terrifying for smaller creators who are not yet diversified across multiple platforms. If this was to happen to them, it could have a huge impact, as many of these guys really rely on instagram for their income and promoting their businesses. Just imagine that you have 30 000 followers and you've just been offered a deal of a lifetime and for no reason instagram just take you down just because you uploaded when you're on holiday and the ipaddress was on the banned list. Not only do you lose your deal, you also lose your way of making a living.

So, as i said, i've put in an appeal, and now i'm just hoping for the best. Maybe by uploading this video, some of you may have some further information or ideas that i'd not thought of.
