The Capital One Venture X is the new credit card on the block. It’s goal is very simple and that is to be comparable to the other big travel credit cards.
In my opinion, though the concept is nice it just doesn’t compare to the other credit cards that it is aiming to be in the spotlight with.
Let me know how you feel down below in regards to my opinions, and please leave your own.

Now i know somebody out there was waiting on this video because i was too and i figured why keep my opinions to myself when i have an audience who may want to find out how i feel too so we're going to talk about this video. This is the capital one venture x card video. These are all my opinions and on why to me, this card is just a pass put a poll up so here it is, and thank everybody who participated. Like 100 people participated in that poll.

A lot of you were saying, i think, half of you may have said pass and then most of the other half may have saturated for other people's experiences, but i want to talk about it and why i personally think right now, this card is a pass in My books, let's get right into the video the capital one ventra x, card, visa, infinite, 10, 000 or higher credit limit was what the infinite really means. What this card is supposed to do is be a competitor to the bigger cards out there. The sapphire reserve, the amx platinum, et cetera, and let's get the elephant in the room. Obviously some attention right.

Yes, the first year, it's worth it a hundred thousand points or miles after you spend ten thousand in six months, which is easy. That's only about seventeen hundred dollars a month, easy okay, so yeah year, one worth it year, two after you've taken advantage of the sign up bonus. Yeah, you get a 10 000 anniversary bonus in miles just for keeping the car, which is good. Here's what they're missing, though after you've done all of the redemptions with the 200 um 300 travel credit every year, and then you get the ten thousand anniversary sign up bonus your net profiting five dollars and i've seen a lot of videos say well they're paying you To keep the card yeah they're, giving you five dollars in one year to keep the card five dollars and one year net profit.

If you were to keep the car, you only profit in five dollars a year. Nobody can survive on five dollars a year. Nobody should keep a card on net profiting five dollars a year, especially with no other benefits. American express platinum gives your gold status to marriott.

Gives your gold status to hilton. Gives you uber credits every year. Gives you a saks fifth avenue. Credit gives you a hotel collection credit.

If you use the gym, you get a gym credit. I am net profiting so much more per year than five dollars with the mx platinum card. That's first thing! So that's that's number one! It's lacking a lot of rewards and benefits. So yeah, okay, cool you get five dollars a year.

What does that, equivalent to a day? Do the math guys five dollars divided by five right about 365.? You do the math? Okay, that's how much it relates to per day on how much they're paying you to keep the car just doesn't worth it's not worth the 400, if i'm not getting at least double that back in return, because that's what most of these other credit cards and, for Example, max platinum is giving me so i'm gon na i'm gon na put the capital one venture and i'm gon na keep it at that standard. I'm gon na compare it to those other cards that are set in examples. That's been here for so long. So that's number one: the rewards two in my books chase priority comes first.
This is going to count towards 524. So for somebody who wants one of those chase cards, world of hyatt ihg sapphire reserve sapphire preferred you're going to lose a 524 slot. With this, the mia just came under 524 on november 1st, i'm not going to waste a slot on this car. Just yet chase comes first, it's a bigger bank.

It has more money, literal money, liquid assets, it has better travel cards capital. One for very long was just a very normal and standard credit card company didn't really offer many travel perks and benefits so yeah, i'm not putting that over top of chase 524. That's number two: three yeah the tsa pre-check credit, the global entry, credit cool. You get that every four or five years right - that's cool but come on now.

This card is trying to stay within that area of the sapphire reserve and the platinum where's, a clear credit. Okay, so amex platinum card is now giving you up to 179 dollars per year in clear credits and also still giving you global entry and tsa pre-check. It's a no-brainer that american express wins in that instance, and again, i'm not focusing on amex so much. But when that is my favorite travel card in my book, so though they have a bunch of coupons - and i get that especially this year with the gym, membership and stuff, i still profit over a thousand dollars a year with this card way better than five dollars Per year it's ridiculous the difference in money; okay, so yeah, you have tsa pre-check and global entry.

That's pretty standard american express raised the bar, giving us clear. So that's number three number: four: the capital, one airport lounges, i'm gon na say that one more time the capital, one airport lounges and i'm gon na say it one more time. Just in case you didn't get that they're using the word s they're using lounges they're. Using the letter s as if it's plural right now, they only have one lounge right.

Now, that's active and open yeah you get in free with the card cool you get priority pass, which is standard, no delta sky club access. Nothing like that. No centauri, lounge access. Obviously, just a lounge the capital to one lounge, and it's not like it's in the airport.

That would have made sense if you're the only lounge right now and it could have been for a bunch of reasons - could have been contractual reasons if you're the first lounge you may want to put it common sense. At least i would at the airport, with the most connecting flights or layovers which, in the u.s that's atlanta, georgia, that's hartsfield, atlanta, hartsville jackson in an international airport. That would make sense, because, okay, it's not everywhere, but it's in that one place - that everybody more than likely has a connecting flight goes to as opposed to putting it in dfw. Now, yes, it's an american hub and stuff cool, but if you're one flight, i'm sorry! If you're one lounge right now, you're just rocking it out by yourself and you're, really betting on that to be the first lounge to set things off, you want as much people and as much attention as possible.
For someone like me, if i was to get that card, i'd have to break my neck to get over to dfw, just to say that i've reaped the benefits of the capital, one lounge, not lounges, so i need to take that off the website. It's not plural! Yes, a couple more will open up next year. Things could happen, but right now we're talking about right now applying for this card. For me, i'm good, i have the centaurian lounges.

I have priority pass. I have to duct the sky club on flying delta. All of that stuff with my amex platinum cart. So that's number four! It's not a lounge! It's not lounges! It's it's! Just one lounge right now! Five! I personally was already declined from capital one about two years ago.

I made a video i'll put it right here. If you want to watch it, it's entertaining for stupid reasons from a bank such as capital, one again, it's not a chase. It's not an american express in my eyes. I don't value it over either of those banks.

They declined me for uh. Having too many credit cards opened within two years, which again that's chase 524 right, but i would accept that from chase because it's chase your capital one. So i'm not gon na go ahead and keep in mind capital. One is the only bank where you got ta um, do a hard inquiry on transunion, equifax and experian.

I'm not doing all of that. Getting a hard increase on three bureaus to possibly be denied for almost the same thing. So yeah, that's number five for me. Personally, i was already declined for stupid reasons.

It's from a bank that i don't think has the leverage to decline. People for stuff, like that, like you, should be wanting people to come in. It's funny um wallers dustin over at wall as well and go check his channel. If you didn't, he put up a post, his wife got approved, so congratulations um, but he said capital.

One may not like me but they're, like my wife, and i feel the same way um, so i'm just gon na keep that and stay away from them right now. All in all the capital, one venture x card is a really good card for the future. I see the potential i just don't see the now and again i get it they're paying you five dollars at the minimum net to keep the card for me for one year five dollars per year, just not worth it got, ta do more capital, one step it Up hope you guys enjoyed this video, make sure you give me a thumbs up. Give me your feedback.

There is no right or wrong answer. I'm not correct. This is my thoughts. These are my opinions and i was giving it to you.
I want to know what chores are. Are you going to get the capital one card? Are you passing? Do you not like the bank? Do you agree with me all that good stuff? Let's have a conversation, let's have a debate share this video to everybody. Comment down below i'll talk to you soon be safe. You.

I'm gonna disagree with you this time, I ma get the card because first the card pays for itself, second I've been looking for another visa card with priority pass access to lounges and restaurants (since my amex platinum discontinued) and third you get presidents circle status at Hertz, my preferred rental car dealer.

I passed as well. The benefits and travel Partners did not equate to the annual fee. After the first year of the card is not worth it. There are other premium cards with better benefits
