The nasdaq market faked us out today but the market is still on its bear run! Allow the market to sell off! The more it drops the more margin you build for yourself when it actually begins to recover. With the talk about interest rates, we can not expect this recovery to be quick nor soon! Stay patient and watch that position size!

People asking today is it time to buy more as the market sells off. I can't stress this enough. I've been saying this over and over and over again right with the talk of interest rates going up tech stocks drop. Nasdaq has a big focus on tech stocks.

So therefore, when they talk about interest rates rising, you know they haven't even raised interest rates. So when asking the question, can things get worse? Of course, of course things can get worse. That's that shouldn't be the question. Things can always get worse.

What i'm here to remind you is so many beginners are asking: is now the time to buy the dip on tqq? Well, if you look at it, i mean it's been cheap, but it's getting cheaper. I want to share with you why i'm staying so patient trust me. You know i thought today was going to be a good day. It sold off a little bit.

It began to recover. I thought today was going to be the first green day for teekihu. I'm right there with you, i'm right there with all of you. I want you to understand that you're not alone, but i also need you to understand the benefit and the value of not buying too early, knowing that the market can continue to dip.

One of the things that i want to share with you is that we're all waiting - or you know a lot of us, not even if you're trading tkq, but you know, regardless of of what your focus is. If it's, you know anything when it comes down to like amd lsi, microsoft, apple, facebook, they all sold off today so to some degree right looking at where tqq is at right now and where it was at before not all-time highs. Just previous highs, that's 35. 35 margin think about that out of a hundred dollars.

If you were to buy now right, that's about 35 dollars, which is huge think about that 35. But just a couple weeks ago it was going to be about a 20 return right or 25 and the week before that it was a 20 return. The market selling off should not instill fear in you. The way that i view it and again this is just my perspective.

When someone asks me hey ricky, should i buy more right now? Why are you in such a rush to buy the dip when first off it continues to dip and second off, we have so much margin to work with look at this. My goal is to make a little bit over 14 on tqq. That's it 14. I have from lows to high again trying to be realistic, a 35 margin.

I again i'm not a perfect trader right, so i don't need to be perfect. I can wait for this thing to begin to trade above you know 70, and that's essentially what i'm waiting for. That's where all my alerts are at. I don't need to buy the dip to feel good about my position.

I understand that it's cheap. I understand that facebook is cheap. I understand that microsoft is cheap. If you bought the dip with a small position size then great right, i'm in the same you know bandwagon with you.

I bought a portion of a position but to think that, oh man, i have to go all in right now. First off you're doing your future self a disservice by buying and hoping the market recovers when it hasn't indicated signs of recovery and second you're being greedy. You're thinking that okay, well now, i'm gon na buy because the market's a lot today right and it has to recover - and i and i want to maximize my net returns right, my 35 or if it makes a recovery to all-time highs. That's 42 think about how crazy that percentage is 42.
All i know is that year over year, the market always recovers. Sometimes it does take longer than others for the market to recover. There's still talk about raising interest rates, that's not a good catalyst for tech stocks. If you decided to buy the dip early with a portion of your position size, we talked about this.

The risk behind buying the dip early is, but it can continue to dip. You either don't buy before confirmation. If you can't manage your risk or you understand the risk involved when buying too early, it's that simple, it's not about! Oh, my god, i need my average purchase price to be lower. Oh my god! I i need to buy more as it continues to dip more.

No, those are not good habits because it can continue to sell off so again, why do i stay so cool common collected? It's still frustrating to me. I don't want the market to sell off more and more and more and more, but it also doesn't make sense to buy more as the market sells off, because it's not indicating signs of a recovery and because my goal is only to make 14 when my net Margin for potential return is 35, so i have a very realistic 14 goal for a 35 margin. I can make mistakes, i don't have to buy at the cheapest price and i can still hit my goal. A goal is something to work towards, not something that has to play out exactly according to plan.

Make sure that your actions today are something that align with your future self and again, that's exactly what i wanted to say for all those that are thinking of buying more as the market continues to dip, especially if the stock that you're focusing on is tech, focus Interest rates that that news has not gone anywhere, it's still very relevant. So please do your future self a service and look out for yourself. Keep trading simple! That's our focus for 2022 and for the learn plan, profit swing trading challenge. You have to watch that position size.

You have to set those alerts and understand how much margin you have to work with if the market does end up recovering, which eventually will happen, but again it does take time. So again, this is what i'm very excited to follow up with. Look at fundamentals like price to earnings as well as support lines. Explore sectors other than tech. Energy, financials, staples, utilities. Tech needs to shake out and correct closer to pre- pandemic levels.

My advice to new investors: buy good companies and keep them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore market predictions and opinions which are funny at best but completely useless.

Thank you Ricky, what fo you think of KSS as a swing, it confirmed the way up, while having kind of acceptable catalyst?

<great post Very detailed and accurate video that you posted man I love your content. It's funny how some people still haven't accepted that cryptocurrencies continue to change the world globally, even though they've been here for days. From a retailer's point of view, we believe that we really need more experts in this field to inform newcomers / investors about how the community works. Lately the price of BTC has fluctuated, meaning that the market is open and it is not known whether it will be bullish or bullish. This uncertainty alienates most traders and forces investors to persevere. I would say it is completely wrong to wait and maybe take losses, this is the wrong mindset for an investor because as an investor it should be our job to find ways to keep adding more coins and reloading, the ultimate Aim. Make a profit. It all depends on the model you are working in, as well as the origin of your strategies. I started at 2.1 BTC and surpassed 6.5 BTC in just 4 weeks with the right trading strategy provided by a skilled trader, Elliot Max. I would get out ( I did it back in december). And buy once we reach the bottom of the crash./ bear market (it can be months or even years)..- No less than 30% of the peack of sfp 500.. Many people say it can be even 60 – 70 %.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lyon says:

I donโ€™t know why this guy keeps using the high as a reference, the high has no relevance to anything, just like you could roll a 7 1000 times in a row no matter the odds

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brandon White says:

probably something simple, but how do you make it adjust the chart after the split? mine looks weird bc it shows the split

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dan Yates says:

I'm dollar-cost averaging in. I was 35% cash at the beginning of December. I'm now 12% cash. I'll keep buying the dips because I'm not smart enough to know when the market will bottom. It has worked for me for 40 years. I like this quote. โ€œI will tell you my secret if you wish. It is this: I never buy at the bottom and I always sell too soon.โ€ โ€“ Baron Rothschild

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Victor Gonzalez says:

    Just me thinking out loud,
I set my most recent stock picks at 33% and hit 5 out 10 in the last four trading day of this bear market. Wait till you see What I got TQQQ set at and a few other Tech, and financial stocks.

Loving it how I warned many in my circle about this coming and many laughed and now Iโ€™m still trying to help them out with revaluations because that why friends do .

Shout to CHAD baby โ€ฆ lets goooooooooo!!!!!!

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael T. Lane says:

I bought TQQQ way too early and made the mistake of position increasing simply because it rose to a higher number for a few moments. Then the precipitous fall began and Iโ€™m now nearing 15% loss. My biggest confusion is what really confirms a recovery, how large of an ascent upwards that looks like and how long that rise needs to be in effect.

And I know I should have sold out a while ago, but Iโ€™m also confused about how rigid I need to be in that. Between a stock split and news coming from outside the market that is affecting it rather than some inherent weakness in the market fundamentally, confused about how severe my commitment to sell off should be. In this case, had I been way more rigid and sold out at 5% loss, Iโ€™d be sitting much better. But I kept thinking it was just a daily or few day aberration to โ€œride outโ€

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jermme says:

I think of course it could get worst BUT I do think this is the point where INFLATION is being priced in. Soon enough we should be back on course. IMO

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Reddy Steddy says:

I consider it like sector rotation – rising interest rates or even the possibility of it will see rotation out of Tech stocks which are highly speculative and overvalued, into commodities stocks which are considered inversely correlated and currently massively undervalued.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Auto Barry says:

Would be cool to hear your thoughts on entering in a swing trade. The difference between the daily chart and 4 hour chart since the ema is different for confirmation.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tammy Hamilton says:

To me it genuinely felt like everything has been selling off for literally no reason, I mean companies with enough cash on hand to pay off debt like NVDA, PLTR and many others… This is the time to buy I mean many stocks are down over 50% off their highs and in the dumpster, I've been buying continuously and am gonna continue to buy as cash comes in because there is a huge rally waiting to happen.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Greg says:

Meet Kevin has been saying he thinks the market crashing is a bunch of BS . He thinks all the FUD is coming out to fear retail intentionally. He has ZERO cash left and actually is 20% margin.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kennykscott says:

Purchased to early AAPL, TQQQ, and AMD cut losses with stop loss which hurt but now I can get back in once it reaches a support and indicates signs of a recovery. Learned my lesson. I went in too heavy up front and started averaging up too early. I should have reduced my position size as it started and continued to pull back and I did not set a new stop loss at a higher level. Lesson learned.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Demagio says:

Especially when people have to obey day trading violations on accounts 25k and under. Once you buy you are locked in for the day. Gotta choose the entry wisely

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars PaulG 1215 says:

Well said Ricky, and I think we all need that reminder to be patient. There is currently no decipherable bottom.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Andreas Holm says:

But… If someone is happy with 35% ROI, wouldn't it be alright to buy at this point in time?

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Eric Toal says:

Just want to say Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I just started trading so videos like yours helps out.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ferriss G says:

Ricky, do you think you can make a video exclusively around โ€œwaiting for confirmationโ€ that is what to look for specifically. What would be strong signs of confirmation and a reversal to the upside. Thank you so much for all the valuable content you put out everyday – Cheers

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Stonker says:

Iโ€™ve been buying what r u saying Ricky lol Iโ€™m fucked on tqqq dip buy around 73$ a share avg
