well if the production rates of diesel do not increase, the cost of all goods will go up. with the current cost of living in the US most people on average cannot afford any more increases in the cost of goods. more than 90% of the transportation of goods use diesel. like it or not the reality is we are still dependent on fossil fuels. modern tech has made many leaps in the last decade, but we are still not quite there. so ya if production stays where its currently at, ya we are facing some hard times in the very near future, and reality don't care about opinions or your feeling.
