Welcome back to another market, open live stream. Today we have a pretty green market again. In fact, the market has been relatively green in the entire week uh following the madness of uh monday. The madness of monday is over and now we are looking at a pretty green market.

You get the dow jones futures up point six, one percent s p at point four percent and nasdaq up point: one: nine and a treasury yields up to 1.36. Actually, a nice uh large, it's a larger movement uh all of a sudden in the treasury yields uh, but yeah either way markets, mostly green, we're going to get uh and jump on over here in just a moment once we get this uh to pop up, but Anyway, we'll get to the sticks here in just a second we'll, take a look and see what's going on, usually uh, usually by now i'd be able to uh, show us the sticks but uh for some reason. Right now i can't show us the sticks. Oh, i figured it out there we go a little bit of an oopsies all right there.

We go that's better, so uh anyway, markets going green, again, uh kind of cool, but uh, also kind of sad. If we were looking for a larger dip uh. I personally believe the dip we had uh monday was kind of a little bit of a weenie baby dip, but that's okay. We had a dip, i suppose a dip is better than no dip there.

We go take a look at what's moving today. Let's start with: what's a red atr down, 14 percent emirate down 12 uh, keep in mind. Emeryn ran up yesterday about 85 and then uh closed up about 61 on news that it had renewed an agreement with google. That's right.

They had an agreement with google. Then there was some nice click bait that said, emren strikes a deal with google, which, if you actually read the article, was literally just a renewal of an existing deal and the stock ran up 61 percent at the close of yesterday, of course, now it's down 12 And i expect it to go right back down a full 61 percent back to where it was we'll see. Robin hood was up 10.85. Yesterday incredible move for robin hood.

Now it's down uh 1.24 sort by uh negative here yeah there we go uh carvana, rite aid, endeavor tmc, this guy's sort of losing. Today some momentum - docusign's been uh. Docusign was up yesterday, but uh is one that uh is pulling down about a third of a percent along with jd.com boston beer relatively flat there most stock screened out. That was barely a page of red, got a momentum play here: camber energy up 8.9 percent.

I'm pretty sure i've seen this one red for a bit here. Let me see here yeah. It's had a few days here right hold on. Let me go to the non yeah.

Look at that. It's been four days of red for this uh momentum: slash penny stock, but uh back up about eight point. Nine percent in the pre-market here plug power, wow plug power, is almost back to thirty dollars. Plug power is the stock that i wan na say it was back.

In january i made a video about and said yeah 75. This could have a big quantum scape style correction, which, if you remember quantum scape, went from like 150 dollars to like 28 dollars. It went from seventy five dollars to like nineteen dollars for a period of time, uh and and certainly fell into the twenties and sat in the twenties for quite a while. You can see that here we zoom in here.
Let's see um okay weeble there, there we go uh anyway, so you can see that uh that insane sort of momentum run up here, followed by that typical kind of bleed out in that sideways trade, but almost back to thirty dollars. It's impressive darden uh! That's like olive garden is up uh 4.4. That there's got to be some news hold on a second here, we're gon na pull up the terminal. We want to figure out what the news is on darden, although we have seen recovery stocks move up yesterday by the way hashtag not sponsored, was uh half price game day at dave and busters.

Just saying and uh yeah i don't know just means you probably play twice as many games, because they're half price um, so uh yeah, where, where is that recovery stock, i don't know we'll find it uh. I uh got the terminal coming up here, we'll see in a moment. What's going on with darden we got cando canoe is one that has sold down to the toilet here for a while. Look at that uh there is a bankruptcy risk at com.

A company like canoe, who does uh, have some beautiful marketing, though some really beautiful marketing around their company. I wonder what their market cap is now they are showing up. Uh 4.12, let's see here new stock um, unlimited breadsticks are back that that can't be the news. Uh market cap of 1.56 billion - you know it's still crazy to me that you could have a one billion dollar car company with a prototype like one prototype and a concept and a dream.

Well, i want to make a billion dollar car company with a concept and a dream: oh man, oh yeah, yeah, all right. Let's see what darden's up to darden restaurants, which is apparently d, is that right, dri! Well, uh! Okay, let's see here, dell darden gaines started navigating kovik darden says staffing shortages are limiting sales garden, restaurants, stock gains. After strong q1 earnings raised fiscal year, 2022 outlook garden restaurant executive speak on earnings. Ceo sees pricing well below inflation rate this year.

Right that makes sense. Inflation higher than the price increases, which actually means that inflation may be misread right because, if you think about it, if prices are going up higher for companies which you could see in the producer price index somewhat some degree. But but the same thing could happen with the producer price index as well, where, if producers are unwilling to raise prices, you know a dollar for every dollar of inflation. They have then you're not actually going to get full inflation readings, which means the inflation readings.

We have could be vastly understating the amount of inflation that we actually have, but anyway darden earnings. That's why it's up makes sense. Darden uh, let's see here, 1.76 eps, q1 versus 28 cents a year ago, expects 2022 sales to be nine point. Four to nine point: six billion dollars, the estimate or forecast was nine point.
Four slight raise there on forecast median forecast slightly up fiscal year, comps up 27 to 30 percent or expecting 25 to 29, so tiny little beat. There looks like it's up on on essentially tiny little beats, that's cool! I like golf game. I didn't see that about the unlimited breadsticks, but whether it's a joke or not, i hope it's true all right, so um yeah, you got ta, be careful, see. Somebody here saying: oh, can you interview a certain ceo uh look, look just because a company has 99 revenue, growth, the growth and i don't know anything about it.

But sometimes you got to be aware when a company is like. Oh, my gosh, we have 99 revenue growth or whatever it's because they're, starting with very little revenue right. I don't know, i don't know. If that's true, i'm just saying you got to be careful of um the law of small numbers.

I call it the law of small numbers means your percentage movements can look very dramatic, uh and substantial when in reality, they're they're. Not, but again, i don't know if that's true for yours, uh, hey amc is up 3.24. I just sold some puts on that. Yesterday.

Oh, let's go, i got a call option on huday mining. It's a little bit of a crypto play. Well, that's kind of odd to say that a crypto play is a little bit of a crypto play. It's pretty much.

Only a crypto play uh i sold some puts on lucid, like one minute before the closing bell. It's up. 2.24. Very nice.

I cannot believe that toast is up who is buying toast. It must just be like low float or something, but this. How do you pay this much money for toast? I don't get it uh, whatever i know, dave and buster's doesn't have toast they have their own crappy online ordering system, not that. I know anything about that from yesterday.

Wouldn't know atar mran, whatever momentum evaporating here, etsy down half a percent uh we've got mojana, there's really nothing red. It's it's not a red market. Amazon, wayfarer, how's amazon been we haven't given amazon. Some respect here show some respect to the channel.

That's pretty much still on the channel, see goes out of the channel comes back to the channel a stock. Somebody just wrote a stock group, i'm part of told us to buy toast today, price targets - 77. That's so dumb! I'm sorry, i'm not trying to bag! On your stock group, i just i just don't understand - please show me why that's worth 77, oh my god, 77 is almost a 40 billion dollar market cap, whatever whatever this is so dumb right here this this line and matt, i'm not blaming you because i think I i think you, i believe that you believe it is a dumb headline too, but this is what the ipos do. You know they.
They purposely try to get their their stock to moon on ipo uh. It's understandable. They do that in part by restricting the float toast up 50, who freaking cares like it's such ugh uh, whatever i can order toast somewhere avocado toast? Well, that's probably true uh. Yes, i i actually agree with the teflon market statement here by uh by rob that uh.

As long as we have this qe and all this insane money, people have we're not gon na see it a dip like a legit dip. I agree with that. I think it's too extreme to compare to. May i recognize that uh, it's unfortunate, but whatever i'm still not gon na buy toast it's not it's not even whole wheat, toast, it's overpriced, toast.

Oh i talked to the cfo yesterday. It was really cool. We spent like an hour and five minutes on the phone uh. That's the hippo cfo china's telling it it was great uh.

I will very likely make a video on it. China is telling its local governments to prepare for the potential downfall of evergrand. According to a report in the wall street journal, that's very interesting. I'm kind of curious to to see that we do the opening bell coming up, but uh i do want to go to wall street journal, see if i can find that really quick.

Oh, it's front page news: okay, we will look at that in just a second. Let's see how the market opens up yeah there we go supply chain and labor. That is there's no doubt about that. We'll see how that much that eases we'll talk about how it's affecting the car industry in a minute uh, let's get to the opening bell and the cnbc real time exchange at the big board.

It is engage smart, a customer engagement and payment software company celebrating its ipo at the nasdaq remintly, a digital wow wow. Look how freaking green! This is. Oh, my gosh, the more green. It is the more i feel like we're getting ripped off.

I'm sorry! That's! That's! All i can say, that's all i can say: oh canoe's running yeah canoe's got a little bit of a movement here, uh, which i don't want to say, makes sense. I mean 820 yeah 820 was a little bit of a low hit 575 here and uh. It's like our new may and it's a relative low. It's not that great.

I don't know if that's gon na sustain, but anyway 623 unity back up here. How's unity been. This is a big uh. I hear about this one a lot.

Oh unity's been doing great. Well, i mean down from from some other highs, but then again that was in january february, everything's a lot of text down since then: amc lucid, very nice, very nice, okay, gevo, neo, cool jp morgan, okay, uh crypto, crypto's, struggling to like really break out of the Cardano 222 uh 43, 437 for btc a firm given back about 1.2 ish percent. It's bobbing around lots of bobbin, oh yeah, there goes ater and amaran emeryn is the one that should be leading declines today like bye anyway. Let's go to that wall street journal article um uh, don't don't ever look at your dumb cost basis? I'm sorry! I'm not calling you dumb, calling cost basis dumb and then cost basis.
Is the stupidest thing ever you wan na okay, look some of the stuff that i talk about in stocks and psychology of money. I'm just gon na give you this one little sample here. Okay, if you got 10 million dollars tomorrow - and you were told - please invest my money, would you worry about your damn cost basis? No, you would not. You would invest.

Nobody, like the the cost basis, is literally just a dumb vanity number like just to prove that point. I have taken stocks just for giggles, where i'll have a low cost basis and i will sell the entire holding buy it back same time. Just so. The dumb cost basis number goes up now.

I know it makes me pay taxes too, but just for the freaking point, i've done that this cost space is so dumb. Sorry, anyway, where was, i think we were looking at wall street um, so china makes preparations for evergrands demise. Okay, singapore chinese authorities are asking local governments to prepare for the potential downfall of evergrand, which oh this must be is this is the shanghai up again? 333. I'm sorry, hong kong index, not shanghai, shanghai, was open.

Yesterday. Oh not the website come on 333.hk. Oh wow, that's up! 17! Look at that that increase on the shanghai or the uh, the hong kong for uh evergreen, that's funny uh! Anyway, according to officials familiar with discussions, signaling a reluctance to bail out the debt saddled property developer, while bracing for any economic and social fallout officials characterize the actions being ordered as getting ready for a possible storm. Saying that local level, government agencies and state-owned enterprises have been instructed to step in to handle the aftermath only at the last minute should ever grant fail.

They said local governments have been tasked with preventing unrest and mitigating the ripple effect. Uh-Huh local governments have been ordered to assemble groups of accountants and legal experts to examine the finances around evergren's operations in their respective regions, wow apartment buildings and recreational facilities at evergrand's development in china's province. Well, that's how i'm going to say it, i'm probably wrong about that. But um! You know what i find is so interesting.

I don't think i'm going to be able to find the storm thing but uh. What i think is so interesting is we have a massive housing crisis in the country, specifically in california and uh. You can get these developers like evergrand in china. I understand you got this whole small bankruptcy issue, but anyway they can build.

Look at this. What is that one? Two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine! You know that's just in the shot. 10. 11.

26.. How do you call those halves? Maybe those might look attached, but anyway, 25 halves of these buildings is what i'm going to go with and if each of these buildings is about, would you say 40 stories, 40 stories, 10 per that's 400 units per 400 units uh times 25, that's 10 000 homes, Wow, that's incredible, you know, that's that's! The kind of stuff california needs to alleviate its housing crisis. Instead, california wants people to take single-family houses and turn their garages into apartments with like zero scale. It's so dumb, it's so dumb.

You know you put like one massive sewer line in and an electrical line in you feed, uh, a skyscraper. Well, not really a skyscraper, but a tower. I'm going to call this right. Uh, it's not a skyscraper a touch, but it's a it's a vertical building right! You know you, you do one 400 square foot unit.

You got to dig a sewer line and electrical lines as well. There's no scale to it. It's so dumb, it's so dumb, but uh. You know california and dumb well, i'll! Just leave it there all right robin hood's down uh two percent.

Now after uh, it's little wallet, euphoria, oh wow, canoe started running ah bummer, i was looking at it like hmm, should i buy some chairs uh i mean i could see canoe being a swing trade. I can't see it uh really being a uh, uh vine huddle. I think it's uh. I think it's a little bit workhorse-esque and don't get me wrong.

I support the company like i don't want anybody to think that i don't like canoe. I have a reservation for their little canoe truck thing. Uh. I think, there's no way in h.

E double hockey sticks are gon na, be producing it for thirty thousand dollars and selling it for thirty thousand dollars, uh producing it, presumably for less but uh whatever um yeah, hey whatever yeah see. That's a nice way of saying it's uh, it's a dumb stock to own, but a fun stock to ride right. Fine, then i'm okay with that uh all right! So, on the one minute chart we do have crypto moving up slightly here and then again, that's when you're. Looking at the one minute chart.

Oh yeah there you go look at the fury and pump a little bit there on the one minute. Usually, i don't look at the one minute chart for crypto, but for what it's worth it is going up, we did just hit 44 000 on btc did come down down a little bit again: okay, uh blackberry, also about ten and a half percent, incredible amc smiled Or i smiled right it's up to a little bit. It was down yesterday, cheesecake factory. I wonder if cheesecake's up because of uh olive garden's earnings, because look at this yeah norwegian cruise lines, dave and busters.

These guys also recovering. I wonder if you're gon na go back to like 45 on dave and buster's. You know we're like, as if we're slowly kind of going back to where it was trading for a while ran up to 51 for a while wow um sell one share of tesla for every time you say dumb, that's dumb, all right what else we got here? Let's see docusign for a second we'll look at some more headlines, docusign look at docusign, i'm curious to see why docusign is kind of rotating down a little bit here. Uh, let's see if this, if there's any particular news on dr simon's like doc, you because docusign's a great one.
I i bought a lot of it under uh 200, but uh yeah. Now it's been been selling down a little bit and i kind of like it. I don't really see anything here: docusigning jeffrey's virtual software conference, the 14th um - and i don't really see any news here - upgrade it's a whole. Oh, we could look at price targets on it, though hold on a second, let's see financial analysis uh or no.

It's under ee is, are they hold on? Let me look at docusense profitability because i don't think they're profitable, yet uh, oh, they might go profitable this year. Oh that's, exciting! Two dollar! No next year, i'm sorry somewhere around 1.75 to two dollars on eps still very expensive, but sass. That's a very sticky subscription, so people wonder like oh, how can you pay a higher valuation for a tech like sas company versus, let's say a food company? Well, let me give you a very simple example: when you have a recurring revenue book of i i don't know, i'm going to make a guess here, i'm just going to look at the revenue here for uh docu, but i want to make this example because i Think it helps us understand why a food company, let's say, is different from a tech company, and a food company should no way in hell be valued anywhere close to a tech company, especially a sas company. But anyway, let's say: docusign has recurring revenue of a billion dollars a year; okay, they literally have to do nothing for that, like they just have to continue to exist and they're, probably going to capture somewhere around 90 of that billion dollars literally doing nothing uh.

That's the beautiful thing about like a sas or software as a service company right uh whereas like if you're, let's say a food company, a restaurant, a carnival cruise lines uh, you know whatever frozen food company, but you have to do the same work that it took. You to get to, let's say a billion dollars of revenue. You have to do that same work again over and over again to capture that same sort of revenue. That's why sas has such insane valuations, because you literally don't have to do anything to continue to make lots of money.

So then it becomes all all about growth anyway, uh, oh, your sister bought canoe on a yolo. Now she's been waiting for it to break even for her, except now she's in alaska, with no cell service, and it's up twelve percent very well. Hopefully it stays up all right. What else we got here uh? Can i look at lucid? I mean what do you want to look at it's uh.

You know they got to get some cars out which apparently they will be getting out soon, lucid. It's only up about half percent right now. Oh look at that. It's kind of dipping it's doing a funny.
Little u-turn here, uh where's n phase, end phase still pointing up uh or 0.8 percent up 0.6 on toast. I almost want to get toast out of here. Like i don't know, if toast deserves to be on our list, like you know, we have. We have this worthless emirate on our list, which is which i'm fine with, but i don't know if we're with if toast belongs on here.

Sorry, i don't know why i'm so salty about toast. I just had some toast well, no, actually, you can't really call it toast unless it's actually toasted see like here's. The lot left the rest of it. This is untoasted, but that's because i can't have coffee until i eat a little bit of something so otherwise for some reason: tesla's building a new factory in california, that's a win for california.

I'm shocked that true hold on a second. I want to pull up that story. That is a shocker. Will there be a minimum to buy into a real estate fund? You suggest a couple days, i have no idea, i literally don't know it could be uh or there could not be.

I know that is like the stupidest answer, but we just legitimately do not have that answer. Yet china is building a new battery factory in california, hell yeah a california mayor, said: tesla broke ground in its city in what he calls a new mega factory. Oh not giga mega, that's impressive, uh lanthrup mayor or la lathrop, anthropo, okay, oh san joaquin, county. That's awesome, that's cool good! We need some more batteries, very cool, groundbreaking pictures, hey look, they're, literally breaking the ground with golden shovels and then they rolled in a battery pack, but otherwise there's like nothing other than a shell.

That's cool press event, drama, that's cool, that's cool! All right! What else is the market like slowly turning down, because i feel like this red is accelerating a little bit? No, that's not at all the s. P. 500 is going straight up: huh, okay, because uh robinhood's now down three and a third wayfarers down 2.4 uh cardano. Just moved up a little bit: 2.24 nice uh.

We are yeah tmc, emeryn, okay, so some of these momentum moves are evaporating. Oh redfin's, down again what a surprise um akimoto beyond meat monday docusign lemonade. I mean it is nominal a lot of these, how much? What? What the sort of level of red is is nominal emc's down. Uh.

Sorry up three point: six: two david monsters: a lot of recovery stocks, that's cool etsy up two percent: again you just can't stop etsy! That's right! Huddy! Mining! 1.74. Okay, let's see what other news we got: okay, anyway, uh, let's see here, um anything else over here: policymakers, okay, real estate directly accounts for 7.3 percent of the gross domestic product of china. I imagine um yeah china struggles for years to calibrate its housing policies. Oh, that looks cool.
Where is that, let's see here, the latest frenzy began 2020. The government turned to property investment to help offset pandemic-induced blow to exports and domestic spending by late summer. Last year, authorities fearing the housing market had become overheated introduced, a set of policies to cool down sector, in particular to reign in the heavy borrowing of of developers. Ah, too little too late homes are to live in not for speculation, yeah, whatever um most prominent.

Among the measures last year was three red li. I swear. I thought that said three red pills policy most most prominent, amongst was three red lines: policy that requires developers to bring down debt levels below certain policies or thresholds to comply. Evergrand has scrambled to unload some of its shares.

It owns in non-core assets, including its ev business. Why is a real estate developer in an ev business? I don't know, but if you wanted to look up their ev business stock, you would just type in 666.hk, but you should go to google first, because otherwise you'll try to go to the website, but anyways 666. I'm pretty sure this is their ev1. I'm not sure, though property it says, property services.

I thought it was 666. because 333, i think, was the uh. I don't know whatever it doesn't matter. Ain't gon na buy any of it anyway, um.

Okay, the tuesday memo to employees, immigrants founder acknowledged, the company's unprecedented difficulties, but vowed to push through the pain. I firmly believe that ever grants that evergrand people's spirit of never admitting feet wait what i firmly believe that ever grand people's spirit of never admitting defeat and becoming stronger when the going gets. Tough is our source of strength in overcoming all difficulties, wrote the 62 year old, okay got it so so all you have to do when you're failing is never admit defeat. Okay, so just lie to everyone: oh yeah, yeah uh! You could join the san francisco mayor feeling the spirit all right.

How coveted 19 vaccines can be updated for the delta variant stocks rise, despite jitters over evergreen investors, bad environmental fears, okay, hold on a second, let's see what they're saying over here game. Ceo tim sweeney, he writes, quote: apple, lied apple spent a year telling the world the court and the press they'd quote: welcome epic's return to the app store if they agreed to play. By the same thing, too, sorry, i thought they were actually going to talk about something entertaining never mind. Uh all right economy in europe, slowing down.

We already knew that uh fed officials see transitory inflation, lasting quite a while that is such a great headline. It's such a great headline. I want to remind you that we've got a coupon expiring tomorrow, uh for the programs on building your wealth price will be going up a good chunk because of uh transitory inflation lasting quite a while uh, so the pricing will be going up. That is tomorrow, 24th september 24 is also my favorite number for what it's worth anyway.
Oh, i like this sort of eerie picture of the fed. What's a good one anyway uh and that's it i'm pretty sure, that's the dc building. It's certainly not the new york building, but anyway uh all year, the federal reserve's message on inflation has been consistent. The year's surge is transitory and inflation will soon return close to the central bank's two percent target.

Yet uh look more closely and it's clear officials are turning less sanguine and explains growing eagerness to start raising rates. Okay, last september long before the supply chain bottlenecks emerged, the median forecast by the fed was for core inflation in 2022 of 1.8 percent every few months. I would personally look into the chi into cheesecake.

I mean it's worth noting that they right before the pandemic were trading for around 44 and they've been trading down. I don't know the pricing is pretty good at robinhood uh, okay, loose! It's only up point four percent lemonade's down point four percent.

The last a few days, insurance has just not been so loved. Matterport goes up every single day. Apparently you can't stop it. I do love metaport uh neo, stuck at 35 dollars.

Uh peloton peloton went down to 94.88, it's only up a third of a percent. Today, it's still a little too pricey. In my opinion, i think the uh you know the the u-turn in uh demand has been evident. Okay, current report - i want quarterly report - give me a quarterly okay good see if they say how many buses they sell. Buses revenue product revenue, three months ended june 30th, 56 million dollars parts and service 2.4. So i mean 56 million dollars and a quarter. That's a far cry i mean i guess that's like that's like about that 200 per year.
