I’m confused why the media is making it seem like inflation went down. CPI went Down mainly due to gas prices declining. Inflation excluding gas is the same from the high we had last month. It’s possible this is the peak but prices are not different from last month technically. The same thing happened last summer we had a “peak” then it went back up. If inflation was seasonally adjusted we would be higher than last month.
