Adam Aron just announced the AMC pounce, a stock split via dividend (very similar to GME), BUT, in a completely separate security that can't be replicated and the brokers CAN'T process this incorrectly as a stock split.
Adam Aron has learnt from Ryan Cohen's mistake and has taken it one step further to cause the shorts even more trouble from a variety of angles.
Performing an AMC stock split will cause the share price to fall below $10, causing the shorts to stump up more margin, they'll also have a difficult time buying up APE shares to pass around (that can't be replicated/split) and they'll also have to spend billions manipulating not only AMC stock, but also APE stock too.

When Overstock did something similar to this, I believe they issued only a portion of OSTKO on Tzero. So, if you owned 200 Shares, you received 20 OSTKO. This caused quite a bit of FOMO and a nice squeeze. Im not sure what this 1 for 1 will do for both AMC and APE, but today's action was nice.

I think AA made the right move by issuing the APE "dividend" shares because I think he knows that the funds and brokers who are responsible for the synthetics are having a bad case of the "runs", in all cases that the word can be used, including "running FOR cover, and TO cover".

You also may have forgot the ape share can't be duplicated because each has its specific cucip number

This is good it will help with the share account. It wonβt drop the price it will be two separate stocks. Itβs A.A Way of a share account. Heβs a genius. He said when the time is right he will strike this is it.
The rich remain rich spending like the poor and investing non-stop, the poor remain poor spending like the rich but not investing like the rich, first got into crypto back in 2016 and Iβve been hodling/buying sats at different price points since. I've been through corrections before and will likely experience more over the future. Volatility is simply the price one needs to pay if they want to play. I don't have any Alts as I'm a bit of a BTC Maxi, but that said, if BTC hasn't died before, it surely won't do so now. Stick in there – yes we are all feeling the pain, but over the long run this will just be a blip. This is how I see past corrections when I felt that I got in at a high (back then I think it was less than $1000 and bouncing all over the place!). Now when I look back, all I see is regret for not having the courage in buying more at those times. But if you believe BTC has value, then by all means, buy these dips if you can afford to. For those who got in at 50 to 60K and feeling the crunch: hang in there. BTC is not a get rich quick scheme. Wait it out and you will see: you will come away stronger. You must remember Adam is CEO not a trader Also Adam can not utilize these shares without shareholders approving. The real question is how will or might this APE share be used to reveal FTD numbers
