What would your advice be to a young man in his 20's I've begun getting my portfolio back on track.. but I still have holdings I bought with all of my savings account the day I turned 18😅 I was dumb and naive and bought bad stocks e.g. Nio and Xpeng (Chinese EV stocks)
I was considering Tesla at the moment but thought it was overvalued, I tried my luck with Chinese EV's and now my positions are down 70-80%
It's gonna be very very hard to regain the lost capital, would you advise selling at a giant loss? Or should I bite it and see if it somehow rebounds? As of right now I can not sell for much (around 500 quid) so not only am I opposed to it since I lose 75% of my money.. but its also not much I can get back. What would you do?😅 sell and get a little bit back or see if it can recover eventually with the years..

I've been looking all over the internet for someone to explain how a teacher/state employee with a pension between 40-65% of their take home pay at retirement should invest for maximum medium to long term wealth (retirement and brokerage). At 35, considering I have the pension what, how does that change my calculations for investing/retirement?

question 9/14 ok maybe the IRS wont trigger any taxes what about the market youre using doesnt it have like a small tax when you do a trade i just tried demo accounts so im not really sure..?
Here in Australia a million dollars might sound like a lot of money but with the ridiculously high costs of living over here it does not go very far at all. Even just to buy a crap townhouse here you are pretty much looking at about a minimum of 500k just to buy one with the Australian housing crisis and even rent is starting to overtake the average weekly wage and that's with out including extra costs from car ownership to food. In Australia if you don't invest in anything you go broke.
Investing can completely change your life I just wish I had started earlier but such is life 👍
