What's up everyone? All right? Well, we're gonna break down the trades from this morning. Again, not a bad day and this is the craziest thing ever last night, you know. I got home I actually was feeling a hundred percent better. My voice was perfect this morning.
On the way, it'll work, obviously I don't see another bald eagle. that's pretty rare. Honest I See I'm a mountain lion on the side of the road. It appears unconscious and wounded.
Stop the car, pull it over I get out and I go and I check on. The first thing I do is I check the pulse I feel the faintest pulse at that point I begin a ministering CPR The mountain lion barks back to life, flips me over, gives me by the throat which is why I have a scratchy throat down and then looks me in the eyes realizing that I saved him. He licks the side of my face. that's why it's a little red sandpaper.
Tom he looks inside my face. there's a way of saying thank you and then he just walks off into the woods. So now I've got scratching throughout two days in a row and my jackets also a little ripped right there right here. Was it worth it? Perhaps one of the most magical moments of my life? Alright everyone, so we're gonna go over the trades from this morning.
Another pretty decent day right here. I've got four hundred fifty one dollars of profit Now those of you guys who have been asking about my small account challenge and everything else: I am I'm not trading in my small Account yet I haven't set it up yet. However, I am treating this as if it is a small account and I'm bringing my share size back down. So today I was trading with 2,000 share blocks 2,000 shares.
So I was being much more conservative I wasn't swinging for the fences I was just, you know, taking it slow and locked up four hundred Fifty One dollars of profit here. Now my plan is that during the next couple weeks I'm getting prepared to go into my small account. So this is kind of like training to get myself ready and it takes some time to open up the account. and I want to make some videos for you guys to answer all the questions that you're gonna have about the small account challenge.
In terms of which broker, I'm gonna use how much you know, share size, account size, what tools, software, everything else. So in order to kind of give some time for that right now I'm just sort of having a week of or maybe a couple weeks of just sort of. you know, pre small account training. So $451 here plus another 82 in my IRA account which is nice plus another 96 dollars over here in my TV account.
So today I traded in 3 accounts and I made a total of let's see 450. So that's 5:30 So about six hundred and twenty-five dollars. Not bad and you know, Excellent! I bought this right down here at 95 unfortunately I got stopped out and this is the one where I made 2 dollars and 48 cents I got out because it came up to 99 right here on this candle and then it dropped down to 96 and I was like you know what I don't know I'm I'm kind of pushing it because this is like a 10:47 trade usually I'm done trading by the end of the first hour so I was like, you know I think I'm just gonna leave this alone and just you know I'm on the defensive right now you know I I'm which is exactly how I'll trade with a small count I've got to be defensive. like if it doesn't look good right away I kind of came right back out. so I did that and you know then it ends up popping up to 504 dropping back down to 1998. So I might have stayed in and stopped out here and then, well, now it opens up. That's the way it goes, you know I mean this is one of those things. There will always be another trade around the corner, so no reason to feel FOMO on these.
ISEE this one Really nice pullback setup here I jumped in 250 Solid trade I sold it a little too soon, but you know a good trade nonetheless. Let's go back to the other account here ses this morning. Nice little break out in the first five minutes. Nothing crazy, you know, but but a decent little setup rate right here.
This little pullback pattern so some nice action there. X Net You can see, you know now it's kind of coming to the top. this is increasing volume peak I would if I was short, I would have stopped at 28, stopped at the high. so you get this curl up and then this drop back down.
So anyways, you know again, you know today's a day where I was able to trade in three accounts at the same time made money in each one and I did it by focusing on base hits instead of homeruns. So um, something that I spent some time over the weekend working on I was working on some videos for a small account challenge I was also doing some analysis of my trades for 2019 and I I made some really interesting discoveries that I'm going to share with you guys I'm gonna make a video about those trading metrics, but the the end result of it sort of is reaffirming my focus on base hits and that over the long haul. I really do better focusing on base hits and that the occasional homerun is awesome, you know? And it's like, you know, the big glamor. Kind of like awesome trade.
It's exciting, but those are pretty much completely offset by the occasional huge strikeout that comes with trying to swing for the fences. So again, I'll have a video where I talk a little bit more detail about those metrics, but something that I've found interesting and so I'm really trying to embrace this week and so here we are. third consecutive. Green Day Consistency is solid.
Look at my accuracy today. Do you see any stock that I'm red on answers? No. I'm green all around now. Granted on X net here I will be read after commissions and Ezn fees, but whatever I'm not going to sweat about that.
See, you are and you know again. whatever it. But generally speaking and you don't see a single big loss today and so that I feel pretty good about. All right, So that's it for me. And as I go into the small account challenge I will also talk about what I'm gonna do in terms of share size and stuff like that. I most likely will not be able to trade with even 2,000 shares off to be trading with even smaller size during that challenge, But that's okay. I am SO done with thinkorswim. Today they lost connectivity (several traders were mentioning this on stocktwits) and when it resumed my winning trade got stopped out (thankfully i had a hard stop). So I called them, they blamed me then threatened me because he thought i didn't have minimum $ in my account (I do). They are also still charging me commissions (in Canada) so i have decided they will not ever make another $7 commission from me. I hope you don't use tos for your small account challenge. Their papertrade is broken (data is delayed 15 min but orders get filled real time), ondemand is broken (charts draw a minute or two after lv2 prints), watchlists don't alert, and occasionally they lose connectivity and customer service refuses to take responsibility.

ross I've been trading for three days i watched your how to trade episode 1-4 even though you have 12 episodes…anyways my first day trading was on october 28 its my third day out here…. i made 27 dollars on the first day….negative 5 dollars on the second day and today made 19 dollars…my share size is 200 for right now…..account balance is 1100 in cash…with 4 to 1 leverage

$ISEE finished strong today. I feel like the pullback days maybe done. Unfortunately, I am going to have to wait until Monday to get back to it, but I am happy to close my 2nd in a row month green. won 12 trades and loss 10 in October(54% accuracy), September month with 53%. Biggest winner slightly bigger than my biggest loser, $94 to $91. I was up $70 for the month in sept and october up $107. My trading journey is looking interesting. November will still be about striving for better accuracy for me. Thanks for being an awesome teacher!

You should do a 1k challenge rather than 500. 500 is pretty small. Well I guess it doesn't matter, because in the end the only thing that matters is % profit
Last night was my first green night in a long time, it was a mere $26 lol and I’ll be red after commissions BUT the trades were more accurate and I want to build good habits. Keep on trading defensively Ross.

One last question before I decide to buy the warrior pro course, regarding the year subscription to warrior pro, I understand the chat room and simulator are on a year subscription but after the year is up, would I still have access to the education content only excluding the chat room and simulator?

to make the challenge even harder maybe not even use the trade ideas scanner. Since many beginners cant afford it
5 minute chart or 1 minute chart? I usually use 1 minute chart but decided to try the 5 minute chart today after watching the 1 minute chart. As I was trading I noticed my indicators on my one minute chart were telling me to get out but the 5 minute indicators where saying to stay in,kinda confused on which one to listen to. Tried the 5 minute chart and lost $70.00. Did keep to my rules and got out when I was suppose to at least. Before I would have made money if I stayed with the 5 minute because the 1 minute had me exit a lot quicker.
