Summer 2021 is coming and might be very different in comparison to summer 2020.
Last summer there were SO many trading opportunities. Summers are historically slow, but with lockdowns lifting, the markets might slow down more than usual.
How can you adapt and evolve in the shifting market?
Make sure you have a plan. Check your boxes for each trade. In 2020, everything was running so it was easier to slack off. But this year, you’ll need to be more diligent.
You will see stocks hit resistance and fail. Look for those clean breakouts. Skip the headlines and read the whole press release. You must put in the work.
Be sure to focus on high volume plays! The volume over the last year has been insane, but it probably won’t stick around. Run your filters and look at those high volume stats.
Now, you may not like this tip, but it’s important — only look at hot sector plays! Last year was a wild market, and everything was running. But if we revert back, this is highly unlikely and you’re going to get stopped.
Tune in to the video to get Bohen’s hot sector picks...
And remember, if there aren’t any worthy plays, it’s OK to step back! Take advantage of the extra time, whether you catch up with friends or use it to study more.
The stock market will always be here.

OK Tim thanks much for the helpful tips. However I will bring to the attention of everyone that you are right as it seems places will start opening up again, the problem though is that even with vaccination the virus keeps on mutating and they have a very deadly and aggressive strain of it in Brazil which kills thousands of people per day (but these politicians want open borders!!!) and now they found about two days ago, in Texas a very aggressive version of the virus that attacks your immune system! So the CDC says close proximity exposure is being within 6 feet of someone for 10 to 15 minutes or so and someone else told me being in the same room with no ventilation with someone for about 20 minutes! So as you can see, it's not as easy to transmit the virus (but if someone is coughing/sneezing etc. etc. it's more contagious so one would be best advised to stay further away) however being knowledgeable is important to prevent it. Many people including the late Herman Cain and others caught the virus by being in large groups of people practicing no social distancing and not wearing masks and within two weeks he was dead as well as others that did the same thing elsewhere and some fortunate others survived it. So this is key, being in large groups of people with no masks and no social distancing and specially no ventilation. So as many may or may not know, these masks we're wearing are NOT for the virus! Many are surgical masks which surgeons wear so they don't spit on a patient's wound while doing surgery and their sides are wide open and the virus can sneak in through there. Other masks are called "Fashion Masks" which are very popular and definitely are NOT for the virus either! The REAL mask for the virus are the N95 masks and they cover your whole mouth and nose area well and I'd advise people that when they see things getting more congested such as in the subway in NYC, when people start coming back, that they wear the N95 mask in such situations. The other masks are just for walking around in open spaces where one can practice social distancing etc. because they offer minimal protection which is why they're now saying to wear two masks! They won't tell you to get the N95 because then it would likely cause a shortage of them as people rush to get them and likely the prices would skyrocket even more and there would be a shortage for people that work in the hospitals! There's yet another mask that is high tech and is more comfortable which is being promoted right now and is made in Israel called "Sonovia" and is like a regular cloth mask BUT it neutralizes viruses, kills bacteria and mold, is rewashable, I understand up to 55 times if I'm not mistaken, fits pretty snug around your mouth and nose etc. etc. and I've seen more and more people I know wearing it and I'm about to get me one or a few for myself. It's expensive but my life is worth it!
