What's up everybody welcome back to the channel? Today's video is going to be to me something very important that someone said in Congress right before vacation happened. So I want to talk about this in regards to the stimulus checks. Let's go right into the video. So I got my pet right here: let's go out into business alright, so it looks like a few days ago Mitch McConnell said um, you know a stimulus, another similar check. Definitely what happened. I keep in mind guys they are on a two-week vacation. I doubt anything is going to happen they're on vacation until about July 20th.
Just keep that in mind when it comes to these checks, but in quotation this is what he said. I think people who have been hit the hardest or people who make forty thousand a year or less and people are saying in this article from Forbes calm is saying that Mitch, McConnell's $ 40,000 wording shouldn't just be taken lightly. It shouldn't just be something: that's just like. Okay he's just thought a number out there he might actually have done.
They may have actually already started research and kind of look at numbers and say hey people who are making forty thousand or less or hit the hardest. What that means, or kind of just kind of read between the lines that could possibly mean hey, if you don't make forty thousand or less or if you make obviously more than forty thousand, then you will probably not get a second stimulus check and that's not guaranteed. It's not official but reading between the lines, that's something that can possibly be. I wanted to.
Let you guys know about that. So here's how I feel about that. I think it is complete and whatever you know I heard no, you heard bleep, you can hear the word, but whatever you thought that word was you're. Probably right, that's what I think it is.
Let me just put this into example. Let's say you made 40,000 last year or let's say you made 30,000 39,000 last year and you were still struggling really hard. Let's say you have a few kids, you know you have a household of four, maybe you're, your husband, wife lost her job. You made 39,000 last year, okay cool this year.
You make let's say two years ago you made 39,000 last year, you make forty one thousand two thousand dollars extra, but now puts you over the forty thousand cap, you're still struggling a two thousand dollar difference per year. Probably not gon na be a big change, probably most of us gon na get taken by taxes. The cost of living goes up every year yeah and I'm not saying it's the government's fault that you are struggling. But what I'm saying is: maybe it's not always your fault that you're struggling to you know maybe you're.
Just in like a bad situation. Maybe you know things are going on within the household for you to be cut out, because you make forty thousand five hundred or forty-one thousand it's ridiculous and you can still be struggling in certain parts of the world. Try to live on a 41 thousand dollar income in New York City. Try go ahead and try. Let me know how it works out, go ahead and try to do that same thing, doing it in Los Angeles. Now, obviously, it's been done before, but go ahead and try and say that that's not considered struggling, go ahead and try and said it's not being considered hard-hit, especially in New York $ 41,000 Cove. It was crazy in New York, go ahead and try to tell me that that's not hard hit now. Obviously, I'm not looking at all the numbers, I'm just using common sense, and I think 41,000 is a horrible horrible cap.
If that is to be true, that's just my opinion. I wanted to kind of bring that guy did that to your attention, guys if that is the in the case there they're gon na, have a lot of issues. We're gon na have a lot of issues with in this country. If 40,000 is considered to be an okay amount for living.
If you make forty one thousand dollars, you are living good. That is not the case. If you're making forty-one thousand dollars you're, probably more than likely living check to check unless you have some more assistance going on within a household and that's just me being honest: I'm not counting anybody's pockets, but if you're making forty one thousand dollars a year, you're probably Living check to check, I personally made a forty one thousand dollars before in my life, and I was living check to check. So no, no, no, no! No! No! It's not gon na that! That's that's not a good number for me, but I wanted to let you know and I'm not going to get too rapped into it, and I don't expect you guys to do it either.
I'm just giving it to you guys. I think it's very important and if this is something that they're going to be looking at, it is a big mistake. So do guys, like this video make sure you like share and subscribe definitely share this video get this video out to people. We cannot accept that to be a reasonable answer.
Okay, 41,000 is not a good number or if I'm sorry, 40,000 is not a good number to just say: okay, you make 40,000 or less you're struggling, but if you make 40,000 500 or more because you're never going to be down to the penny more than likely, You are okay, no, not good, so guys. I only get, 17.000 a year from SSDI and still have not received my first stimulus check,,, I cant get anyone on the phone with the treasury department or the IRS,,, so what do I do to find out about this first check???

$40,000 are likely people working retail, however i think this is way unfair. I'd think it'd be better if the cutoff salary cap was $55,000.
This is bullshit I make that much a a little over 40000 a year . after taxes I bought how bout 30000. With food prices n everything raising its still a struggle. Its not fair because I have a job. Worked through this virus risking my life no hazzared pay

Ok let's get real , there are people that have retired after paying 35 to 45 year's of taxes to get there SSA , and now they get less then $20,000 to live on with food and medical prices going up every week . And our government think's it's ok for us not to get a stimulus check . Oh they have a good reason , our income is the same we had no loss . That's wrong , with all the living prices going up , we don't have enough to live on . Think about it . 🙏🙏🙏😞😞😞😢😢😢
