The AMC and GME float has been shorted multiple times over and we finally have proof!
Ortex have reported some really weird short interest data... the GME short interest just tripled up to 60% of the float, Ortex even admitted directly the borrowed shares have increased significantly, although 'they don't think its related to short selling'... of course 😉
Virtu also recently made some comments begging for the disclosures around short positions not to be changed, as they worried it would expose their buy to covers and more importantly, the shorts they marked as market maker exempt shorts!
This is likely because the float is shorted multiple times over and they are desperate to keep it covered, especially in a time when the 4 largest stocks in the market are falling by over 10% in a single day, all setting new all time lows!
