Ken Griffin's monthly income regularly exceeded $100m a month gross, over $1.2bn a year.
Most of this money comes from Citadel Securities, which makes PFOF to large trading apps like TD Ameritrade, Robinhood, Charles Schwab etc.
Citadel Securities makes its money from selling stocks (Such as AMC stock), to customers for a fraction of a penny more than it bought it for, or, a few pennies more.
This is 'small' for each customer, but millions of transactions a day soon add up. Citadel generated $6.7bn in revenues in 2020.

Welcome back to the channel everyone guys, i've just read the most absolutely outrageous thing. I've ever seen in my entire life and it made my blood boil. Ken griffin gets paid 68 million dollars a month after tax trust me guys. You do not want to miss this.

Video so stay tuned and let's make some money. But before i dive into the video, i just want to give a massive shout out to the 1700 of you that have currently ding that notification bell, because you guys are always the first to watch a new video as soon as it's released so guys be sure To drop a like down below subscribe to the channel and ding that notification bell, if you haven't already so that you don't miss another video, just like this one, and now i want to dive straight in with the information. So i know this article might be a little bit old, but ken griffin is the 68 million dollar man. There aren't many people whose earnings can make the 690 million dollars that the blackstone ceo, steve schwartzman, ranked in last year look low according to the latest filings griffin's ex-wife ann diaz said his monthly gross income approaches a hundred million dollars and his net monthly income after Taxes averages over 68.5 million dollars that works out to more than 2.2 million dollars a day or upwards of 90 000 per hour.

The asses filing is sure to escalate their ongoing dispute over child support, in which he's asking for one million dollars a month in child support. Griffin argues that amount is excessive and includes expenses such as private jets, four hundred and fifty thousand dollar vacations and six thousand eight hundred dollars a month for groceries that are mainly for diaz's opulent lifestyle. He's told the court he'll only fund expenses he deems reasonable. Just as a quick sidetrack, i personally think that this is what's wrong with the world at the moment.

What happened to the times when divorces were split? 50. 50.. I know that one million dollars a month is a lot of money and most, if not all, of that money is going to be going towards things that aren't really necessities, but that's not really how divorce should work. I personally still believe that everything should be split.

50 50.. If ken was worried about getting a divorce, he should have just signed a prenup before getting married. Diaz, says she's, adhering to illinois law, which requires griffin to fund the three children's lifestyles as it was during their parents's marriage. She says the expenses such as the jets and groceries are simply an accounting of all the couple's child-relating expenses, while they were married, ken's, false incredulity as to the cost of his children's lifestyle.

A lifestyle which he established and continues to enjoy with the children is pure hypocrisy in her filing diaz, acknowledges the family's large spending habits, but she says griffin funded and created the lifestyle, so he has little reason to object. It's a silly exercise to pretend the day-to-day living expenses for the griffin children even remotely resembles the norm. She said, but she adds typical. American families do not have a father with a net monthly income of just shy of 70 million dollars.
That's the understatement of the year. I personally think it's absolutely disgusting. The way ken generates such significant amounts of money from ripping off regular people, regular working class people like you and i it's so so unfair that it's one rule for them and another all for us and that one rule for them allows them to make ridiculous amounts Of money, like 68, nearly 70 million dollars a month in terms of how ken makes most of his money is through citadel securities. The electronic trading firm owned by hedge fund billionaire ken griffin, has played a quiet but critical role.

In the frenzy of the last two weeks, the firm, an affiliate of mr griffin's hedge fund citadel executes orders placed by customers of robinhood markets, td, ameritrade and other online brokerages that have enjoyed surging volumes during the pandemic. Obviously, this is going to be all of the payment for order flow. Brokerages citadel securities makes money by selling stocks or options for slightly more than it's willing to buy them. The difference is often just a fraction of a penny per share, but repeated millions of times.

A day it adds up to serious money, but we now know that it's not just a fraction of a penny. Citadel typically, don't give the best execution price to their customers and instead make much more than just a fraction of a penny, or maybe even a few pennies per trade. I am glad that the sec and the dtcc are starting to catch on and are finding some companies like robin hood, but really they need to go straight to the source, which is citadel, and they also need to be doing more than just issuing small fines. They need to be issuing sanctions and jail time.

A 70 million fine is nothing to robin hood, who made over 300 nearly 400 million dollars last year from selling their order flow to citadel, but also, at the same time, 300 million to 400 million dollars. That robin hood made is nothing compared to the 6.7 billion dollars of net trading revenue that citadel made in 2020.. Can i also point out how incredible it is that ken pays himself a net salary of nearly 100 million dollars times 12 - that's 1.2 billion dollars a year before taxes, a very, very large portion of what citadel actually made for the year. I also wanted to bring to light citadel's growth in 2020 a year they generated 6.7 billion dollars in revenues and 4.1 billion dollars in ebitda.

The company's success comes in a year that was defined by economic pain and despair for many, but clearly not for ken, but it will go down as one of the most lucrative environments in wall street history. Traders across investment banks profited from volatility sparked by the pandemic and an explosion in stock market speculation by people cooped up at home on apps such as robin robinhood markets. The firm, which is 85 owned by griffin according to bloomberg, also paid out 1.9 billion dollars in equity distributions. Last year, griffin has a net worth of 21.4 billion dollars, making him the 28th richest person in the united states guys be sure to.
Let me know down in the comments below what you think about ken griffin being the 68 million dollar man and making nearly 70 million dollars a month after tax. Also guys, if you haven't already i'd, really consider checking out the patreon link in the description below and becoming part of the team to discuss, amc and other stocks as well, and as always guys. The simple fact that an entity or person can be a β€œmarket maker” yet also simultaneously still play in the market is just crazy to me. How tf did not one person stop and say β€œhmmmm this sounds like it might be a little bit of a conflict of interest” like HELLO I just don’t understand

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars brcdev says:

Bullshit. Ppl steal from people their whole life n expect to be looked at in some positive light. No reason in the world for anyone to be in poverty if that much money can be given to 1 person monthly. But the allow these people to con and manipulate the market and people's trust and finances. I pray all of the corrupt and undeserving people that steal cheat and swindle people out of the opportunity to live a more comfortable sustainable life lose all their money and wealth and watch the ones who deserve it gain it

What a tight ass. Imagine you have $68 in your pocket, and I asked for $1. Less than a cup of coffee.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Martin Andersson says:

THE ONLY THING THAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD IS THAT PEOPLE LIKE KEN GRIFFIN CAN EVEN MAKE 68 MILLION DOLLARS A MONTH

    THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE!

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Julianna Holmes says:

Well. I don’t feel at all bad about growing my position in AMC.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Who Me? says:

Billionaires, mostly, are born these days through company ipos. Amazon, apple, google, facebook.. Whats Ken’s company’s stock ticker? Nothing. Then he must be an oil or steel giant? Nothing. He must be printing money then.. People been saying for years, the market is manipulated.. β€œwall street”.. well they’re talking about these guys! Naked shorts, dp, brain washing using media, being their own police for the most part, being the market makers themselves, I mean they have all the tools to literally print money. Have you heard β€œVegas did this and that” in sports gambling? In reality its not really Vegas, just like its not really "wall street", its these giant hedge funds.

During a divorce, assets should be retained with respect to amount that each person paid for them. Child support payments should be settled with respect to averaged annualized income over the last decade and variable weighted income payments per person (i.e. but only for reasonable essential expenses). Beyond that, Griffin should be paying anymore. As much as I don't like Ken Griffin, I also don't like the lack of equality between men and women in divorce settlements in the Western world. Women have an unfair amount of power.

I don’t like to get in the pockets of another man as it’s none of my business really. I don’t get to take someone else’s stuff just because I might think they have to much. With that being said the problem with Kenny boy is that he’s playing a rigged game and now that us Apes are beating the breaks off of his pockets he can’t stand to take the L. His ego can’t stand the fact that he’s going to loose to us. How can he look his clients in the eye after he gets taken to the wood shop by a bunch of degenerates like us. I’ve been hodling since January and will hold forever if that’s what it takes to beat this guy. Pay up Kenny boy and try not launch yourself off the top of Citadels HQ after the squeeze.

Send his ass to jail for his naked shorting of AMC!!!!

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Francis says:

I've seen news about citadel possibly starting a new dark pool of their own which they could filter almost all amc buying. Has anyone else heard that? Also I've seen other news the sec is actually checking out retail investors for too much communication between each other regarding amc/gme…I'm holding amc since March and in my opinion the hedge funds are cheating and the sec is allowing it

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Andrew B says:

The amount of money one makes shouldn't be the issue… the issue is HOW they make it. We live in a country that allows you to make as much money as you can and thats one of the beauties of it. So the question shouldn't be how we feel about the amount, it's how we feel about the "how" and I think he's probably broken a few laws to make that amount of money.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim Mort says:

Well no shit.. what did you think he was making? 100k a year? Lol.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nico Venturoso says:

Guys! Yes, it's old news but its good to reminisce on this fact every now and then to harden our conviction in this play and to inform the newer apes that weren't aware of what caliber of a person and company we're up against.

    Thanks for the video, Thomas!

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jared Dintrone says:

If Ken is that rich, that means that we will all get paid. We can't short squeeze a poor man for money but we can all squeeze a Ken griffin for money because he bleeds money.

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars hansheapau ma says:

We have to defeat him or eliminate him totally from the market. This is disgusting to the extent of of vomiting

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars J. Sand says:

And all that money is made by every ones 401k, which is why I have never and will never invest in a 401k , all it does is make wall street Criminals rich ! And they throw you a cookie so u feel like your making money too ..then they crash the market and your s*** out of luck .. i recommend people make their own investments .

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Speed and Power says:

This is old, he made almost double that last year. NYTimes published it in February

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Einhander49 says:

Nothing new here. YOU just read about it and suddenly this is considered EXPOSED information? Lol.

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars J says:
