Usually a penny stock you never buy on way down due to pump and dumps

I only add to my winning positions. If my first position goes down I am out and never average down.

I have a question. Maybe future vid m a newbie btw starting to learn Analysis so when the stock is on its way to the moon or in a straight up trend or a squeeze how do you know when to sell is there something within analysis that explains to you the way to sell at the highest point I saw to speak?

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rodolfo Correa says:

Fortunately, on January 27, 2021. Wall Street, Robinhood, CNBC, and the Hedge Lend Managers showed their really true-color about how they manipulate the market and how they can make you lose more money because they were losing too??? They don't care about retail investors; they only care about how they can eat you up alive. When the economy has a recession, HFMs are looking for help from the Government, but they don't want the government to put any rules and regulations on them. They are still asking for rules and regulations on the Young generation because they know how this corrupt Wallstreet works. They will play the same game until HFMs got burnt themselves.

I disagree on your opinion about averaging down. Before purchasing in 3rds and averaging down, technical analysis MUST be done to determine A) that your entry point is at the best value possible, and B) that you capitalize on further discounts within the value zone. Fundamental analysis is a no-brainer: check for offerings, financial health, pending news, etc. Averaging up is a gamble because, not only does it increase your average AND your position, it doesn't protect from sudden reversals. It's basically buying in hopes of a breakout. A trader, IMO, should ALWAYS hunt for discounts, enter positions incrementally, average down (average up IF it makes sense – like an eminent breakout), and sell portions of their position on uptrend price targets. With this strategy, you could literally grow an account consistently with little guess work.

Can you just stop using Penny stocks as your example because even a newbie knows not to average down. This is very effective with large cap and it works

Can I bail-out my investment by adding 4-6 times the original position? Is there a formula I can follow? The stock is DGAZ.

This might be a really dumb question, but I'm looking for input from anyone that may know. Say you have been averaging up on a particular stock and have 3 different tax lots. You decide to sell your shares with the highest cost lot ID. Does this affect unsold share averages since the highest priced ones are now gone??
