Nio is the fastest growing EV company on the block, growing even faster than Tesla. It also has some secret technology that Tesla doesn't have and therefore could one day be Bigger than Tesla.
Nio already have 4 vehicles on their roster, each having made it out of the prototype stage with around 50,000 deliveries, this means that they've already beat many other EV companies like Nikola Motors, Faraday and Dyson.
They're currently doing what tesla arent, producing an entire network of battery swapping stations and offering 'Battery as a Service', where you can buy the car without a battery for a 25% discount, and pay a monthly fee for the battery, like tanking up with petrol.
They're also close to mass producing a completely autonomous vehicle with no steering wheel, something that Tesla aren't even close to yet. Their current semi-autonomous driving is also even better & more fluid than Tesla's, performing more optimally in traffic.

I hope for much NIO success. I think the BaaS is superior to fast charge for several reasons.
That said, no, I do not think NIO will become bigger than Tesla. Why?

I’m invested heavily in both Nio and Tesla, but let’s just be practical here, Nio doesn’t even have vertical integration in its manufacturing. Although I’m very sure Nio is only next to Tesla but not even close to Tesla.

Do I think Nio will become more valuable than Tesla. It's possible. If they can take up lots of market share while having state of the art autonomous software. Yes. The battery swapping technology is a genius idea because as time goes on customers can upgrade with current battery technology and get instant access to fully updated products. I say it's possible because the current ev market only makes up 2% thiers plenty of time to see who will become the leaders.
Thomas, Nio’s first electric Sedan to be launched on January 9. It would be nice to remind people this with your impressive presentation.
The race car is no longer in production. They only made 8 or 9 of them or something and sold them to founders and early investors.

Funny how all nio channels only have 19% subscription rate lol. Added nio last week. Will add this week as we should see a big bounce off 38.40.
By next year it’s gonna b 450$ next year by 2025 it’s gonna surpassed tesla and become 47000$
That's why I don't understand Tesla's price right now. The price for Tesla stock is priced in for at least 10 years or more from now. This is priced with sells in China also not to mention world wide. I feel the Chinese will more likely buy Chinese ev cars in the future rather than Tesla, and Nio leads in China and they have government backing. The government there makes the rules and who do you think they will let succeed in their country? Think about it!
Tesla has bigger problems than Nio…VW
To be honest, did not see any chance that NIO can be bigger than Tesla in NEAR future, but NIO would mostly likely hit 100 -150 by end of 2021.
I just don’t think Nio is for me, at least not right now.

Nio definitely has some great potential upside to grow, I personally do have a small percent of my portfolio invested into NIO, I think its worth bearing in mind that NIO is also a Chinese company which means it does come with its own unique set of risks that only apply to Chinese companies, however overall the future looks bright for NIO!
