So Palantir dropped today heavily and we have to talk about it despite me being on vacation. I Know you guys want to hear my take on this. So I'm going to take a break I'm going to go into the basement. bad audio, bad video I Don't care, the information is important I Think a lot of people need to hear calm, rational voice I'm not a cheerleader.

almost another hater I'm an objective person now. look I am a Palantir bull. This isn't financial advice, just my two cents. My opinion.

Now as you saw today, the stock did drop heavily. Eight percent. Six percent. It doesn't matter.

Red day for the stock. Now if you cannot handle red, then the stock you should not be invested in penalted to begin with. As a long-term investor, that's a whole different topic for a whole different video. But the first question I want to answer today is why this happened.

Because you heard a lot of narratives today on social media about why this happened. Mostly it was BS it was horseshit. Let me explain why Now a lot of people want to suspend this in their Direction Want to explain that Now it's the market. Just realize that the earnings were penalty were horrible.

Cool. Look my guy, this isn't how it works. It's not like taking girl out to the club at night and realize in the morning she's not as good looking. The market took up the Share three percent in after hours right after looking at the reports.

Now the market all sudden realize no, it's not as good as we thought we're gonna take it down eight percent. It doesn't work like this. not in the financial industry. Sorry, it's a bunch of horseshit.

and what actually did happen today is that this was a macro driven event. As far as the macro different event, what happened? Well Moody's the credit rating agency came out and said hey, as far as the regional Banks we expect this and that and that more risks because we expect a recession in the beginning of 2024. So when Moody's the rating agency comes out and said recession in the beginning of 2024, this kind of caught the market. You know in the surprise, nobody already thinks about recession right now.

everybody is. You know in the Kumbaya State celebrating how good the market is and then this thing comes in and then you know it sends the market down a little bit. It's okay, it's normal. Now the good news for the stock market is that nobody takes Woodies or any of these other credit rating agencies seriously and this thing fizzled out pretty quickly.

The stock dropped to eight percent. it started correcting upwards today towards the six percent and I believe this is kind of the final breaths the final thoughts of the more these nonsense. Maybe a little bit more tomorrow, but that's it because nobody knows how long this is going to continue. But also, nobody takes this Moody's crap with any kind of sense of seriousness.

So now the Moody comment about the recession isn't going to make a lot of difference. In fact, What? I found the music is that? Tom Lee A guy who has a lot of credibility in the market actually made a very similar prediction about 2024 just a week ago and all of a sudden Moody's kind of, you know, piggybacking off of that. You know, credit rating agencies? they're not always. You know the originalist as far as ideas and you know I'm gonna leave it at that, but you know, no disrespect to anybody.
No I want to talk about Thai Fear not Moody's I don't care about Modis. Either way, as far as Politico is, look, the earnings were not horrible because a lot of people who want to sell you this narrative that the earnings were bad and now the market finally realized that no Palantir is a stock with a high beta. they have about I think 2.6 2.7 beta to the market. Which means they're more volatile when red days happen.

Today was a red day for the entire Market because of the Moody's thing and Palette is more sensitive. Palantir goes up higher when the market goes a little bit up and it goes lower when the market goes a little bit down. That's how it works with Palantir. now.

I'm not sure about the beta number I have to go back and check it, but it is volatile compared to the rest of the market. Yeah, I mean that's not a you know rocket science. We all know this. but the question is right, how good were the earnings? Now, if you're a long-term investor, this is where you see things kind of develop a little bit more interesting than you know.

the usual fluff you see on social media. Productive delivers probably one of their best, if not the best performance as far as you know. Delivering the message communication Alice Carb sham. Everybody nailed it.

Carp was in this element. Vibes Earnings call a planet here to date. So as far as the presentation killer, as far as the paper, you know the financials not bad at all. 13 growth in a horrible macro environment 38 increase in customer count, a projection of 2.2 trillion dollars of Revenue this year, another Gap profitable quarter for three consecutive quarters of Gap of stability and then basically saying hey, we're going to hit gap of Stability in the fourth quarter as well.

Which means eligibility for the S P 500. And trust me, Pallet, There's a lot bigger than a lot of these companies in S500 They're not even closer to being one of the smallest companies, so they have what it takes to be included. That's before I Don't think they're pretty much lacking. it's just that four quarters of Gap of stability.

So, but I've been saying anything about the fact that Palaker literally doubled their quarter revenues from just three years ago when Palantir went public. They made about 280 million per quarter. Now they're at 550 540. I Mean you know they've doubled their revenues in three years per quarter.

This is not something. Then you're doing a horrible micro environment like everybody else isn't celebrating right now I Know the big companies are, but yeah, they're part of that Elite group that actually does Well when things are bad. But here's the kicker. They're also do great when Market actually bounces back up.
But that's not the point of this video. This neither here or there now. look as a long-term investor, you have to be able to stomach days like this if you have conviction. This talk.

If you have true, genuine faith in the stock, this is to you a macro driven buying opportunity. This is an opportunity given to you by the macro. Gods The dollar cost average into the stock. Now you get it at six to eight percent discount that you didn't get before.

It's a no-brainer thing for somebody who has an absolute you know conviction in the stock. I Don't play the game of trying to explain to people and you know, be an evangelist of the stock. I Just share my opinions for me and for a lot of long-term investors. When we see dips like this because of some Moody's report, we grab more shares.

As simple as that, for other people, it's a little bit terrifying I Get it. But the end of the day? look, forget about happier, look at the entire stock market. Don't you find it funny how a single red day can change? The Narrative of any stock 180 I find it kind of peculiar. Also also kind of fascinating.

One bad day in the market and the entire narrative about a company. it's businesses projections, its future goes out the window and vice versa. So I wouldn't take you know bad days or bad weeks as any sort of a serious you know metric to how good or bad the company is at the end of the day. It's very, very simple delivered some mind-blowing data on the earnings call.

I'm gonna repeat it. go watch the video I Recapped everything. Carb said some insane things about the future of Palantir as a company. As a business, it's a monopoly in a new growing.

Market Absolutely insane stuff If you believe. If you think that this is legit, if you think that they're not bsing you, this is an insane opportunity right now. But if you don't believe if you don't see the value and if you think they're a bunch of bozos, do not invest. It's very, very simple.

And by the way, one little thing I Heard a lot of criticism about Palladio Announcing share BuyBacks I mean look short. You know BuyBacks with the stock was at seven dollars would have made more sense from a mathematical perspective from a financial perspective, but You have to understand that BuyBacks is a psychological thing when the company does. BuyBacks There's one reason to do. BuyBacks You want to send a message to the market that you're strong, that your company believes that the share price is too low, and that you're strong enough to absorb the buyback.

Now, when Pilot was kind of struggling share price wise at seven dollars per share, for them, to do a buyback at that point would have been a sign of panic, A sign of them trying to prop up the share price artificially pull it up. Nobody would have liked that. That would have been a big problem. Volunteer: BuyBacks A little bit like taking a loan from the bank in a sense.
Think about it this way: when you don't have the money and you really need the loan, the bank is never going to give it to you. But you know you have plenty of money, You don't really need the money. The bank is willing to give you as much loans as you ever want. Same with credit cards.

the same concept so you can't do a buyback politically. To get the right impact. when the share price is struggling, you have to find the right balance. I Think right now, they know that the share price is going to keep climbing.

Doing it right now actually makes a lot of sense. They're sending the right signal from a point of strength, not a point of weakness. And look, this stock isn't for everyone. If it's not for you, it's not for you.

I Personally keep dollar cost averaging every single day, every single month, every single year I Don't care if people think it's a bad stock I'm not trying to convince anybody or sell anybody I'm not affiliated with politically I'm not a positive volunteer I've never had any connection penalty I Couldn't care less I mean for me in my community. Because the insiders are selling. I checked the insiders activity and in the last two years I didn't seen one single insider buying their s**t, only selling. Retail investors will hold the bag of the pump. Personally I am making profit because I'm short.
