It is a fact that new industries startup with the latest equipment, like tesla. They also have the best new buildings, like tesla. But Old companies have old equipment, old process lines, old-style buildings. Notice how ford/Toyota sold an old building to tesla. Fremont. It was a lead brick around their neck. It was costing property taxes and there was no future for it. Plus I think there must have been squabbles between ford vs Toyota. If you look at the Fremont plant it is now not quite a lead brick around the neck of tesla with scattered buildings etc. Maybe tesla will use the different buildings to manufacture different components for its vehicles. But coming to tesla's other factories, they are smart, sleek, and well designed from the start.
Ford has government bailout culture. Expecting another gut bailout set cantinas to be fuckups.

The Tesla Cybertruck will be the final nail in Fords coffin. Sad times ahead for them.

Yeah it seems that this "Source" was stupid as hell. If it was real it basically just repeated what Tesla-fans usually think about legacy automakers. This is the reason real journalists make a report only when it is provided by at least 2 independent sources.

Where does the Mach-e come into the picture. It IS an electric vehicle and some people swear that it's an awesome one. Not sure of their perspecive but it's still an EV.
Although I cannot bring good evidence, I think it might be a true. Also, not only some managers but also some long time key employees are very skeptical with electric vehicles, I think.
But they released several electric vehicles including Mustang Mach E, so we have to watch. However, I think Ford’s future is not bright if this behavior continues as the video said.
Uh… While I agree the Ford is behind and not a great company anymore, it's kind of shitty to spread heresy and then say "I can't substantiate any of this, please do your own research."
If this were said about Tesla, Tesla fan boys like myself would have roasted you.
They need to build more electric charging stations before this all electric fad gets big. Definitely the future , but the infrastructure is lacking . You would have to drive way out of your way in some cases to charge your car. There's a guy on YouTube who tried to drive across the US in a tesla. It caused massive delays on his trip.
What about rivian
They are planning to roll out an electric F150 by 2023, …
I worked for Ford for many years. We had to build the electric ranger because the government forced us to. But we didn’t really try to sell it and convinced the government that wasn’t financially feasible to build. The government backed off and we ended the leases and shut down the program.
