They won’t back down Ricky and you know this… they will keep the agenda to get it down. In fact why would they lower the basis points if it working.. they would not want want to drag it but however get to the correction as soon as possible. At 50 bps it would take a significant amount of time. CPI Might have dropped .5% this past data but does not guarantee it will surpass it again. They in my opinion will stand very hawkish. Buckle up it will continue to be a rough ride and get worse…you know this!

FOMC means Federal Open Market Committee. They determine which way rates should go, whether up, down, or stable. They also determine if reserve and capital requirements should be changed.
It’s not really a monthly basis but an as needed basis. Just recently this year they had monthly until last month. There is no meeting this month. In the past meetings used to be quarterly.
