Looking at fundamentals works, but the main problem with Chinese companies is that they're masters of LIES, FAKE NEWS, and FALSIFICATIONS. Hence, you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT trust their reports!

The problem with Xpeng is they are known thieves. They stole Tesla autopilot source code after Tesla upgraded their source code Xpeng switched to Lidar since the code no longer worked. They also stole Apple’s Project Titan code. They copied Tesla website and interiors. I don’t support these thieves.

I have never invested before in my life but it certainly is something I wouldn't mind doing with a little bit of loose change that I have.
It would be great to get your tips on how to start and how to actually trade. I think a lot of people want to but think its for people playing with thousands of dollars (or pounds for me).
Seeing as a standard pension in the UK is completely pointless for someone my age (28), trading is certainly an avenue I would like to explore.

If you don't mind investing in Chinese Communist party sponsored intellectual property thieves, go ahead. But there are such things as ethics unless of course money is all you care about. There are other worthwhile, ethical investments like TSLA. Xpeng shouldn't even be listed.

tesla took years to be where it is, now i should believe xPEEENG, a company that probably nobody knew before 2020, is suddenly better? I am not a tesla fanboy. but i doubt it without further proofs, will look into that

As Theodore Paul Wright put into quantitative form and good ladies of ARK Invest are wont to stress out, the cost of producing something drops by an approximately constant factor for every doubling of cumulative number of units produced. During the past decade it has been a better predictor of manufacturing costs than Moore's law.
Apart from financials, they appear to have really good cars and have just started selling in Europe – with the first European market being, of course, Norway.
I don't agree that design is no longer important for EVs. And European manufacturers sell pretty briskly relatively short-range city cars.
P7 is not entry level, G3 is.
