So why does Roland Wolf get up so dang early?
That’s when he’s most productive. It’s when he prepares for the market open. Watch the video to find out more about how he gets ready and what he specifically looks for in stocks to trade.
Like all smart traders, Roland needs time to prep. He carves out time to make his watchlists, keep an eye on his scans, and research news. He’s creating a road map for the day. That's how he gets through a list of 20 stocks.
Next, it’s time to make a trading plan.
Roland typically looks for first green day and gappers. He goes through the filings, checks supply, and tries to locate dilution. He’s thoroughly checking for — and avoiding — potential danger. That list of 20 isn’t so big anymore. It’s down to five or six stocks, then maybe one…
Or there may be zero stocks left on his list.
But here’s what Roland knows: You don’t have to trade every day. If you can’t find a stock to trade that doesn't fit your criteria, walk away. If you don’t, that’s when you lose. And that can really screw with your mentality. There will always be another trading day and opportunity.
Learn to control your emotions.

I thought the interview was fine. Just two guys sharing their experiences with each other lol. YouTube comments section sounds super picky. Guess it just goes to show, you can never please everyone.

It's more of a conversation style interview. I like this format. It's great how Tim just let Roland to just speak openly about his trading and say what's on his mind instead of asking a set of canned questions with almost predictable canned responses. Good Job Tim, great video!

How long does it take before a stock is considered it's first green day?
I hate interviewers who tries to show that they know everything… Are you calling your guests to give them knowledge or get knowledge from them?
But by waiting 15 min aren't you losing volatility on the stocks??
