Dan Ives from Wedbush securities thinks that Palantir will see boost from federal cybersecurity spending, lets talk about it. On Friday, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, one of the only ones I actually pay attention to, said that Palantir and several other software companies are likely to see a benefit from increased spending by the U.S. government on cybersecurity as part of the focus of the Biden administration to boost the U.S. cyber security.
In his note to clients, Dan Ives focused on what he defined as “bad actor nations”, but we all understand he is talking about Russia. The idea is that the current state of affairs will include significant cyber warfare and massive federal spending would have to be provided to help the U.S. maintain its dominance in this cyberwar. Ives noted that some federal cybersecurity budgets have already rose between 35% and 40% year-over-year and this is just the start, which would allow companies like Palantir to grab significant new market share.
What are my thoughts about this?

I like your new intro. Straight forward with no stupid flashy graphics. 🙂
Biden is just a dummy and Putin is just taking advantage of it. And his handlers are taking advantage of biden. So biden is just the dummy in the middle of two agendas.
They say this stock is your next Google to hit $3000 a share in the next 10 yrs
I hope you are right… I now have about 8000 shares, but I’m getting impatient now…
Cyber security and reliability is probably going to be a key factor in the future of software, even on the private side. If they are capable of confidentially building software for governments and processing their very sensitive data, they will have a great advantage when private clients start to value this factor more.
Pltr is still getting more contracts and buying competition in uk for NHS contracts. Almost monopoly they want to have and government isn't saying anything which is mostly unlikely in other sectors.
I took the right boat too
This is a fantastic set of products with a leadership group that coukd benefit from speaking with the general public about commercial applications. They seem a little out of touch with human beings.
1000 @ 22,so yeah
Love your content, always on it, 🎉Tom🎉.
Brilliant analogy Tom, and the high inflation will make Palantir the company of the future, long term is the key. ❤
The problem with this analysis is that palatir lost money on their gov contract. Their off the shelf software didn't work so they had to build a custom solution. And that cost them tons of money. I don't see how getting more of this business will be good for them.
Another great job, thanks.
Where do you See the next bottom of Palantir???

Alex working like crazy…
Should I start buying at $7?
exactly, i am eagerly awaiting palantir becoming the next big commercial operating system…the govt. side doesn't interest me at all….hopefully it is actually keeping the world a more peaceful place.
Unsubscribed. This guy is washed up and all his predictions are wrong
To quote Buffett "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient."
PLTR was built for hard times…! Hard times ahead. I hope we have a big enough boat!
ENOUGH ABOUT PALANTIR
WHO GIVES A SHT, OTHER THAN THE BAGHOLDERS
BIGGER THINGS HAPPENING IN THE MARKETS
AND THIS GOOF IS STILL DISCUSSING PLTR
what a joke
Street interest rates probably peak 9% unfortunately for AAA rated corps. Right now C class is 13%!!
There are tons of ostriches in the world of today. All everyone wants to do is burry their heads in the sand.

Hang in there.
