So stocks were Rising during the entire day, but yet now after market hours they're on a free fall. What's going on guys? It's Ricky here with Technical Solutions Let me go ahead and start sharing my screen so you guys can see exactly what it is that I'm looking at I closed out my trade on Ttq, ending it at 14.135 and 71 cents on the day. I'm actually not too sure how much I was up by my first video today. Uh, but trust me I left a lot of money on the table I decided to play it safe and you know, lock in profits pretty early on.

This thing just continued and continued to indicate signs of an uptrend. A lot of the different economic reports and newsletters that I was reading based off of what was announced today. Uh, simply came back to the idea of the economic reports that were released. Durable orders came into coming in better than expected and one of the big ones is Consumer Confidence and New Home Sales Report came out today.

Consumer Confidence Way High Higher than what was originally expected from a 103.8 coming in at 109.7 New Home Sales The number of properties that are new that are actually being sold. Expectation Again, 665 000 coming in over nearly a hundred thousand more than that. So all I was reading like kind of just to reiterate it, but please do your own due diligence is that can the U.S avoid a recession, the consumer confidence, and the new home sales. It looks like the economy is going back to normal.

Agree to disagree. It doesn't matter. That's what the market is making sense of right now. I Know this frustrates a lot of people I've been in your shoes where you know it's like how can we just be going back to normal things or not back to normal at the end of the day? If things are not getting worse, then essentially for the stock market, they're getting better and this is just currently what's being factored into the market.

And this is what caused the market to indicate signs of an uptrend today. Uh, where does NASDAQ currently sit? We're still. potentially we still could form lower highs and lower lows. We tested, um, you know, the moving average today, but based off of the sell-off that we experience after market hours, it puts us right below the moving average on the one hour time frame.

So it's going to be very interesting to see tomorrow during our live trading session to see if we actually hold above the moving average. I Think tomorrow will kind of determine. Are we going to sell right? Back off to our previous support here for QQQ meaning that Sqq could rise or are we actually going to hold above the moving average and work towards, you know, going back to previous highs of 372 and hopefully working towards new highs for 2023, right? I Don't know if you guys noticed today, but Apple Stock hit new highs today. Apple Stock is the most valuable company that's publicly traded.

That's really, really big news, right? So again, descending lower highs lower lows. As of right now, the market is indicating signs of an uptrend. so all I'm focusing tomorrow is are we holding above the moving average on the one hour time frame for Nasdaq or are we going to get rejected form another higher low and what I mean by this is the last time that it tried to Rally it didn't go as high as it did before meaning a lower high and then it actually got rejected I think I actually said higher low but I mean lower high meaning that this time that it went up, it didn't go as high as it did last time and I'm waiting to see if it actually gets rejected and sells right. Backed off right.

Back off to previous support that would confirm that again, the Bulls are not as strong as originally where it was expected and the market could potentially break the support and on the four hour time frame, we have a long way down to go. But again, there's no reason to predict the future when all we need to do is really prepare to react right? That's right now. NASDAQ Market did sell off Tqq, sold off 99 after market hours, but as you can see, I just left myself with my one lucky share. So I'm not too worried about it.

And this is the beautiful beautiful thing about trading is that you can close out your trades throughout the day. but regardless of what happens after market hours, I can go to sleep I'm gonna have a glass of wine with my lady for dinner I'm gonna enjoy my not my day and my night and then I'll see you guys tomorrow for our live trading session tomorrow.
