Twitter is one of the first social media platforms where traders post rapid fire financial data with links to news articles, breakdowns of stocks, and opinions on stocks.
You can search for specific stocks on Twitter by using their cashtag and tickers. If you want to see every mention about the Apple Company’s stock, just type $AAPL into Twitter’s search bar!
To find the most helpful tweets, StockToTrade has incorporated a tool that will allow you to filter in mentions from your list of reputable traders with actionable ideas. However, if you're new to trading and you're building your list up, StocksToTrade can help you filter by price, volume and percent gain.
So check out that social media filter with StocksToTrade to help you find the information that matters.

Social media is rubbish don’t lie
We need a tool that breaks down data on each stock visually relative to a customizable list of stocks to see how much it is being tagged within set period of time like 6hr, 12hr, 24hr, 3 days, 1week etc. This would include price action, number of times teach stock was tagged on social media within that set time period etc. With that information it would be easy to jump into a trade seeing the sentiment, tags and price action around each stock. Something like GME from Wallstreetbets would have been easy to jump into with a tool like this.
I like the trusted list suggestion — important to curate and cut the news. There's a great community for using alternate data like social following (and social sentiment using Twitter search), Google Trends, and any other data Wall Street has ignored. Check out Chris Camillo and the Dumb Money community — Chris calls it "social arbitrage" info that has yet to be priced. in.
Thanks Tim … 🙂
thank you
Don't use Twitter. Don't have the time to filter through all of the BS. I like your idea though. I will try (or subscribe to STT 🙂 ).
Can i use this platform from southamerica?
yes I use $*** to see what people say, yes have to know most is what people want a stock to do, no don't have filters for it just mostly watching to see a move and or news
I still dont know how to use this tool on stockstotrade ,.
Do you use Twitter as a trading tool? How do you apply it?
