hey what's going on team it's ricky with tech bud solutions we just wrapped up our live trading session with the learn plan profit team and although the market did not open the way that i expected i had to cut losses on the 1 000 shares on tqq during the pre-market session because the market was already down at that point 3.85 i'm gonna start sharing my screen uh things actually got a lot worse for tqq but i actually sent out an announcement so that we have this little group chat within our learn plan profit group uh called trade ideas only i can send updates just because sometimes our main chat room uh gets a little bit uh too congested with too many messages so with that being said uh i began to post updates of you know when ticker symbol s qqq began to show signs of a resistance right around that 61 dollar price point once it began to break below the ema line or at least began to test breaking below the ema line i sent out a simple update of you know just making sure that our team is aware and i think that's the biggest thing is i never tell our traders what to buy or what to sell at the end of the day right if you want to do this on your own and to be self-sufficient you can't be told what to do but it's important to understand what other people see and why they might be buying and why they might be sane selling so at 7 39 in the morning uh waiting for uh lower highs on s qqq i talked about taking a small position right around 7 30 because right around 7 30 as you guys could see sq began to show signs of again beginning to pull on back once we got those lower lows and lower highs the next step was breaking below the moving average once we broke below the moving average on ask qqq i put again just a friendly reminder uh adding more to my um adding more if sqq breaks below the moving average again just making sure that they are aware every step of the way as i am choosing to trade something it's not about sending out an alert of like hey i'm buying at this exact price point everyone should buy it's not about that right but even for our sqq traders during our live trading session we began to show signs of a resistance level it was overbought enough i think it was up about eight percent on the day and it's again just to remind them that hey you know if this thing begins to show signs of a resistance and begins to pull on back maybe it's not a bad idea to formulate that exit plan a stop loss something to not give back all of your profits and that's exactly what we did with the asking sq trade and then we began to prepare for tequiku we broke above the ema it was making higher highs higher lows we broke below through the support of the moving average we broke through the resistance of the moving average and now we're right back at that pre-market level and i decided to sell my entire position my day trading position for tqq friendly reminder i still do hold my um what's it called my swing trade position because i'm not going to be selling 5 500 shares of tqq those are shares that i'm choosing to hold myself but why did the market perform the way that it did today well there's two specific reports that were being released today one of them being the pce report again and this one ended up coming uh if i'm not mistaken actually a little bit um lower than expected so according to my understanding the pce report actually came in better than expected showing some signs of peak especially for the month of march and then the one that followed that didn't you know come out as great as expected um is the pmi report and again this is uh the chicago pmi it fell to 56 for the month of june uh which was previously at 60.3 again if you guys want me to make a video breaking down what the chicago pmi report is and if you want me to make a separate video on breaking down what the pce reports are i would love to right these reports are released on a monthly aspect i know that they could be of value for you but if you already know what it is and enough people know about it then there's no reason for me to make that video right um so i just wanted to provide you guys with a quick little overall update um i'm very excited to see how that how the market ends up performing friendly reminder even though i'm in t kiki q i chose to play it safe with my day trading shares please do yourself a favor i don't care how much you're up i don't care how much you're down you need to always have an exit plan to take risk management into consideration and i really hope that you at least look out not for me but for your future self and it's not about you know avoiding red days that's impossible your job is to simply manage them learn the importance of that i actually just posted a little tweet first off i have i've won twitter all the other
