So what is causing the market to sell off today? What's going on? Team: It's Ricky with attack Foot Solutions here with a super quick market Update: Want to show you guys Sqq is up 2.8 today as Kikiq as the triple Leverage inverse ETF of NASDAQ And then we have NASDAQ Market down 0.9 So nearly one percent on the day. But why? Well uh. One of the articles that I read is for two specific reasons. First, the first reason we should all be aware of and it's coming down to the wire, right? Everyone's talking about the deadline being June 1st.

Some believe that this is a chance for the house and the Senate to end up on a voting deal by next week. This was supposed to happen two weeks ago for those that are unaware. Uh, just hours before. Uh.

Treasure Secretary Janet Yellen Uh, Supposedly she's going to be speaking today. Uh, it's just a continuous back and forth. Remember Republicans are are requesting demands. Uh Democrats have demands and they're gonna have to settle to some degree so we can raise that debt limit, right? The second thing that's being factored in today is today.

Uh, the Fomc minutes report gets released for those that are unaware. So investors are also focusing on the release of the FMC Open Committee minutes. Uh, which is just pretty much a summary and an explanation of the previous interest rate hike. You guys know when we host those FMC Um, the FMC meeting right? So they release the interest rate hike And then 30 minutes after Jerome Powell speaks, who's the head of the Federal Reserve This is pretty much just an explanation of all the people who voted and how they came to the conclusion of raising interest rates a quarter of a basis points.

This will give us more of an inside look of, you know, everyone's opinion. Are they still extremely hawkish Meaning they want to continue to raise rates? Or are they extremely dovish meaning that no, we're going to actually pause. This is just going to give us an inside look and an explanation on what led to the the previous interest rate hike, which again doesn't warrant us or guarantee us anything for the next one, but just provides us some insight, right? And that's what policy maker comments: I Could shed some light on how serious the Central bank is considering holding interest rates steady uh and reveal whether the Fomc members leaned towards a pause. So again, literally just are we gonna actually pause? And what are the other members of the Federal Reserve Saint Or are we going to continue with these rate hikes? You know, based off of their their votes and it's still not guaranteed, right? So that's what gets released today at 2 Pm Eastern time.

For those that are unaware, that's exactly what the FMC minutes is. Um, I'll leave it up to you guys I Definitely don't have to, but at 2p am today which is around 11 or 12 a.m my time, that's when I would have to host that live stream. So two main reasons based off of that news article: I believe that's from Yahoo finance um and pretty much just shedding some light on stock slides due to debt talk which again is just ridiculous.

they're still not able to come up with a solution. and then the second thing is the FMC minutes report which is just to provide provide us some more insight on uh, what's you know what happened on the previous interest rate hike and how they came to that conclusion and kind of showing us the different intentions from the different um you know members of the central bank which is the Federal Reserve So I really do appreciate you guys time.
