Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

What's up everyone? Alright so I Hope you guys enjoy the recap today. Questions Comments: leave them below I'm going to be trading for the rest of the week from California So today trading from the Delta Sky Lounge in JFK and you know taking a couple trades on the - two of the stocks were on the either Gap scanner or hide a mobile scanner. So enjoy the recap and I'll see you guys first thing tomorrow. Alright so why don't we do a recap of the trades from this morning? So the today kind of interesting Yuuma something very unusual happened on the stock this morning.

I've never I really don't know that I've ever seen this so you know hey it's always after all these years. a nice to have a first if I pull up the 1 second chart which is gonna take a second to load. What we'll see is that the stock that was gapping up at the open and looking like pre market. it was not going to open around 360 365 and make a move back up towards maybe four dollars and then 475 or 450.

The bell rings and it opens at 232 which is really weird and then it surges up and gets halted. You know I've I'm not I was trying to sort of think about what would have caused that to happen. Let's go back to the 1 second chart to kind of see it. And like I said, it's good to take a moment to load just because one second charts are a lot of data.

So okay, so here we go. So what? I was kind of speculating was that this was some type of market order. You know if you did, you put a market order, well it wouldn't. It could have been a marketable order, but someone would have had to have placed I'm gonna speculate here.

a limit order. Add a order so it wouldn't have executed free market day orders. don't They execute as soon as the bell rings the moment the bell rings. This opens at 2:30 -.

So that makes me think that someone had a really big sell order and at the open hit that sell order executed and just swept out anyone who had buy orders or was getting ready to place by words in this area here. So let's say someone had been holding this. you know from back here and then the average down average down and then they just left a sell order on their computer to sell it. It you know to 2:30 or something like that the bell rings and it opens high.

Or you know, the bell rings and all of a sudden it drops down. but it doesn't really make sense why it would open at 2:30 - and not open high. execute. The order dropped to 32 and then surged up.

So I'm still not totally sure on what happened there. You know I mean the one second chart shows that it opened at 232 and then surged up to 265 and then it got halted or 365 minute got halted. All right. So halted for five minutes on the resumption of the halt.

This was how it started trading I was really not totally sure what I wanted to do with it because I've never seen something like this before and so I did start to watch it around the 65 level hit break. 65 squeezes up to 80. so maybe now we'll just go to a 1-minute chart and as you can see, it makes a nice move. I mean bounces all the way up to $5 So my first trades on it: I got in here in the three 80s and 90s for the break over four.
So I kind of waited to get in until it's a little on the extended side and then of course because I was getting in hi had to take profit quickly. So I only made like $900 on that trade and then it squeezes up here to 46. it pulls back I hesitated on this pullback trade because it did a false breakout here and that just wasn't sure. It then works.

So then I add again at like 480 485 490 for the break of five. Well it only hits 499 and then it pulls back. So I made another 700 bucks on that. so as of right he rose up like 1700 on the name.

she's not too bad, that's going sideways sideways sideways right here I get back in because I'm thinking all right. Well it held up on those last two. so I'll get back in here. of course that's the one that doesn't work.

So then I stopped out and then I get back in right here as it starts to curl up I'm thinking okay and then give us another try and then it drops down here and I lose 40 cents per share I'm in at 77 I stopped out it like 30 or something like that and that was was 6,000 shares. So just like that, you know one trade gives back all the profit that I had and I didn't take any more trades on it after that. so you know. kind of disappointing because I I sort of.

I guess I always did my welcome because I was green on it but this was also just a little bit of a different one. I was kind of just caught off guard by that weird open and then sort of was chasing the break of whole dollars. the pullbacks: I was a little conservative on and then got in after I had confirmation but then you pay a higher price without confirmation. so yeah, but then this this drop got me what I thought looked good here in this area.

very light volume pullback that's a good sign of strength, light volume on the red canvas and so during this five minute period I was looking at this and thing light volume pullback on the five it's just a little bit of pullback and I think it's gonna keep going. So I was just waiting for that opportunity to buy for the break over five and I was wrong. So you know, a little disappointed on that. You know sometimes it's just the way it goes, but whatever.

So daily resistance not until 6:45 still has room but I just really wasn't able to do super well on that one. So we'll step back there and then see a weave. This one hit the hide a momentum scanner I jumped in it with 700 shares partial fill on my order. You can see how it hit the scans here.

Boom boom boom boom boom. It squeezes up from 620 up to 760. It's got news on the day. it then resumes and I mean it resumed lower and immediately drops to 690 I stopped out at 7 so you know I you know, so on that one.

I just whatever I stopped out $300 loss. So you know yesterday, $3,000 a profit. Super super solid day, you know? Monday was a solid day today. Yeah, yeah, little bit of setback but not a big deal.
just I think the important thing is also to step back when things aren't really working and just to say alright, you know it's I'm not feeling this I'm gonna step back and live to trade another day so that's it for me. I Will see you guys first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully we have the Gabor's hold up just a little bit better that would be that would certainly be nice. All right.

So I'll see you guys first thing tomorrow morning if you're still watching. you must have really enjoyed that video. So why not subscribe and get email alerts any time? I upload new content. Remember when you subscribe, you become a member of the Warrior trading family.

What is the name for the type of trading you do? Is it day trading the stock market?

All of the post market/premarket…..been interested in this stock lately but I backed off it once I realized it….dont always trust the scanners. It's an oil stock though, that kind of stock is always Stillwater. Look at oil prices it's not going up or down. All of them are the same. Too much resistance and support at the same level to get me interested.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Andrew Polemeni says:

I lost money yesterday as well only 10$. YUMA was weird and everything that hit the Momo scanner was like explosive diarrhea. However, I made it back today with SINT and now I'm up an extra 20$.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Micheal Brown says:

I set a limit order pre market to be filled when the stock reached my entry right below the pre market high. Market opened and it immediately bought where the stock opened. (Not an ideal entry) did I use the correct order or is there an order that will execute at my desired price?

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Adrian VanCuren says:

Yuma got me too stayed too long and really thought it was going to break again

Hi Ross where d=id you get the monitor clips, Nice!

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars john ryan says:

I had a market order in pre market and they gave it to me at 1.10 over the opening price, I have a trade inquiry in…to say the least about this.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ely Pelowski says:

That drop at open on $YUMA. At first I thought that was some serious well timed manipulation. But later I thought maybe by chance there were no bids and a HFT set an ask just above the highest bid right at open. From there people were buying the ask assuming the ask at open was were it was moments before the bell.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars JChan59 says:

i was second late getting into ABIO for a red to green. Near top ticked and it stopped moving higher due to low volume from YUMA i would assume. held through some volatile and remained calm, reduced risk and was a bit late(and greedy) on the false break for the one minute pullback. Managed to close with a small loss. Went to yuma and skipped the same 1 minute pullback going up to $4.99. was really patient on waiting for the volume to come in on the same two false break candles, never came and didn't trade those. slowly improving, but making some good progress.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ron Brown says:

Green $1385.00 on Yuma in simulator. Gaining confidence! Thanks Ross.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Christopher P says:

Wow I would of thought that ross would atleast make 5k on Yuma. Was a pretty solid stock, nothing but green candles for 30mins.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ketchup says:

immediate halt down saved me or else I would have cut, winner, winner.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Colin Maharaj says:

Still long on TSLA and RY, up 900 today, up 3k in the last few weeks.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brayan Martinez says:

Hi Ross. It really does not make sense what happened at the open. I've seen crazy things in the market, but what happened today with YUMA was crazy. It might have been something with the ECN computers or so, because there were not any sell order that pushed the price down at the open. I really don't know.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Q Q says:

The only explanation for the ridiculous opening price that caused the halt is the guy pressed wrong button on the keyboard

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars aquatrader says:

Which are those monitors you have clipped onto the laptop? 🙂

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars d schoen says:

Can we talk for a second about how calming Ross’ voice is when he’s whisper re-capping?

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ChrisWoodsViolin says:

Hey Ross do you ever do workshops in Los Angeles?

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lion Mido says:

life without balance is not good

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shane Bird says:

    thanks ross.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Travis Sampson says:

It's funny you say that about $YUMA, I was watching it out of the gate and it did that crazy drop/green candle and I said "What the f@#$ was that?" I took my hands off my hotkeys and didn't trade it, I couldn't trust it. I was wondering if you would say anything about it.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Adam Drayer says:

This looks to me like a block trade that happened on a dark pool after close yesterday but wasn't reported until open and got recorded as the 1st trade after the bell. Sometimes you'll see large trades pre-market that executed at the closing price of the previous day. Same thing. Block trades that were negotiated at the close but not recorded until the next day. This is allowable in certain circumstances.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ramon Arellano says:

Hey Ross! Would you mind sharing some info on where i could get monitors/ stands to set my laptop up like yours? I think thats so cool how you have it man, thank you!

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars helipilot999 says:

Ross I’ve noticed something very strange with COE and NSPR and was hoping you’d have an answer to. When both of these stocks got halted, the level 2 completely disappears until the resumption and I can’t see where it’s going to open at. I’m on the sterling platform with CMEG. Have you noticed this with lightspeed by any chance? I’ve never seen this before.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars wtd nose says:

yuma – couldn't get in where I wanted before the immediate halt; then too whippy so looked elsewhere – not a good thing to have done.

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Esteban Mejia says:

+200 today on MNK. slowly but surely getting those gains
