Now, let’s start with the downside of OTCs: They’re not as regulated as Nasdaq stocks.
The regulatory oversight is limited. Some of these companies can be years behind on SEC filings. The transparency just isn't there. The filings can be useless, and too often, the company’s web page doesn't even work … These companies tend to be a total mess.
That’s why when trading OTCs, you want a smart focus. So if the fundamentals just aren’t dependable, what can you keep an eye on? Liquidity is one factor, but you also need to know more. Tune in to find out...
Another con with OTCs? Most brokers don’t offer OTC trading. And those that do can charge high commissions. If you use a commission-free broker, you won’t find OTCs at all.
With all that said, there are definitely some pros to trading these stocks! The first is even the same as our first con … They’re not as regulated!
OTCs can make HUGE moves because they’re often manipulated and promoted. If you know what to look for and how to ride the momentum, there’s plenty of opportunity.
They can also be great for new traders with small accounts since they’re mostly low-priced stocks.
But always trade safe! Do your research and know what to look for.
And don’t get duped by the chart. It could look just like CBDD’s chart, but if it doesn’t have the volume, it’s more likely to go sideways and fail.

How to register a otc company
I'm looking to find out if a co trades both OTC and on the NYSE, if there is a clearly better choice which one to buy? To anser your question, I hit a 20 bagger on the TSXVENTURE, and I've been absolutely killed on pretty much everything since. Like 10 stocks I was willing to sit on for a year or two are all down 50, 60, 80%. Ridiculous.
This guy tells it like it is. He's real. Not like all the fake people playing up their "expertise".

Hey problem, A Otc stock is fluctuating between 0.0003-0.0004 for the day. I want to buy at the 0.0003 and sell and 0.0004 but its always halting at 0.0003. What is it that I don’t know? Been through multiple stocks that do this. Cant be my platform because google tradingview and yahoo all showing it gets halted at the same time

Hello gang. I have been following Digicrypts blockchain solutions for awhile now. Solid company with so much diversity. I see huge potential here.
Fidelity has 0 commissions on some OTC stocks (not all)….you can call in and find out if you’ll have to pay and if you don’t they’ll tell you that you’ll have to place a limit order in order to buy.

Currently paper trading in Canada account going to cost 5$ per trade. Hard for OTC. trade should not use margin ever ? Am I right ?
