Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

But for real, how much money does the average day trader make? Well, according to Zipia, the average day trader makes $116,000 a year. over. at The Glass Door, they say the average day trader in the United States makes $178,000 a year. And over on Zip Recruiter, they say the average selfemployed day trader makes $94,000 a year.

Self-employed is an important keyword, because over on Zipia and Glass Door, they're including traders who work at proprietary trading firms, at investment firms and things like that. so their salary naturally will be higher than a self-employed Trader in most cases. But what none of these sites indicate is the success rate of becoming a Trader. And that's where things get a little tricky because what we have always been told is that the success rate is very low, in fact less than 10% So those who succeed can do quite well, but most will not find success.

I'm considered self-employed day trader and I make about 56k a year only working 3/4 of the available trading days, sometimes less even… but the most I've made trading would have been in 2022 at 147k… and these numbers are before taxes as well (taxes were 26% I believe it was)… no longer day trade cashed in and put all my profits and savings into my dividend portfolio as well as gold, silver & real estate

The success rate for any start up or small business is about the same tho…thats also what they dont mention

It’s all self reported data though lol…. Ask the brokers how many of their accounts stay active longer than a few months lol.

Question: thoes people making 94k a year. Are they working with just the minimum need to day trade 25k or does the amounts vary?

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars CraptoScammo says:

Average day traders do not make that…complete BS….the losers are not reporting their losses and the trader who are making money lie to themselves….where is the documentation???

The "average" daytrader is NOT making money 😊

How many hours does a self employed trader work a day? Does it vary?

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars petespirals says:

if it is the average, then the success rate must be higher than 10%

Let’s face it Ross, the 90% quit before they ever get a chance to be successful at it. It requires a level of discipline and determination that isn’t required in most career paths.

My trader says 90% lose money. And more than 50% profit is spent on service charges alone.

I thought day trading would be at least $1 million a year. I guess I pulled the statistics down with my record 😅

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hola! Bggees says:

The high failure rate is because the barrier for entry is too low. On the other hand, an average Surgeon makes about 400k in the US. And there is no question about this. Lol😅

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars PROTO-RX-78 says:

I doubt that average includes anyone who lost on the year so it is probably a lot lower.

What people don’t understand is the subconscious appreciation value . And the day trading rule . Of your above the day trading rule ,and you appreciate 250 or 1 percent of 25k subconsciously. Then you will be a successful day trader making above average income

But it's all the relative isn't it ? (for those who are impressed by these stats or discouraged…)The National Restaurant Association estimates a 20% success rate for all restaurants, with approximately 60% of restaurants failing within the first year of operation and 80% failing within the first five years. Meaning the remaining 20% of restaurants go on to find long-term growth and success. Only 20%. (more like 15% in reality). The problem with trading is that most people don't treat it as if it was a genuine "business". Too many people take their chances online, it's easy to access but many are gamblers. Others don't want to do the work, copy strategies left and right. Sometimes the strategy actually works but they still can't make it to work even if their lives depended on it. For countless reasons..but mostly because of lack of discipline, too much emotions involved etc…
