Let me share with you one useful tip.
If price is in an uptrend and there’s a negative news release, watch how price reacts to it.
If price ignores the negative news and continues to trade higher, you know there’s strength in this market and the bullish sentiment is strong (and vice versa in a downtrend).
And…
In this week’s analysis, I’m going to reveal a currency pair that is doing just that, and walk you through how I intend to take advantage of this scenario.
Lastly, you’ll want to pay attention to this key level on the S&P. If it breaks, things aren’t going to look pretty for investors.

Great call on this short! Your discretionary trend following trading style works well with FX, but do you believe it is as effective in equities? I ask because the increase in volatility has been shaking me out of some trades. I have been placing my stop loss at 2 ATR, but I'm wondering if a less mechanical approach should be adopted for equities.
Great analysis Rayner, as usual.
