So what is causing the stock market to rise? What's going on? Other than that, one of the things I want to talk about is what is causing the market to go up today.

One of the first things is Tesla Tesla gapped up 6.3 percent and it's because of one of the things that Elon has announced to its employees. Elon said that although its stock is down nearly 70 percent based off of previous all-time highs, Elon expects Tesla stock to be worth to be the most valuable company that is publicly traded. That means that Tesla would have to hit a market cap of over 3 trillion dollars right now. Tesla currently sits at a market cap of 379 billion dollars, so again, it's far from that, right? It would literally need to be 10x of where it's at right now.

The great thing about that is again, if you do believe in Elon and its long-term potential, then this is what we are set to expect. right where we can see 10x of your current investment of what it's currently offered. But yeah, nothing's guaranteed. Um, you need to understand that just like any other company, any other company can go bankrupt, right? A company can fail and I'm just here to remind you that I did take a position in Tesla I Made you guys aware of that a couple of days ago.

I Shared my position with you guys that it's relatively pretty light right now. it's sitting right around 27 000 A question. I'm getting a lot right now is Ricky Are you buying more and adding more to your Tesla position? Remember I'm not day trading Tesla Uh, just because it's up on one day's performance, it's not going to Define of like hey now the Market's going to recover. We don't know that just yet, right? It's been selling off for quite some time.

And because of that I don't want to be impulsive I don't feel extra bad when it's in the red and I don't feel extra good when it's in the green, right? It still has a lot to prove we're still trading below the moving average and I want to remind you that I'm telling you this: as someone that's invested in Tesla It's like, sure, if you like the price point that it's at right now, you shouldn't be afraid to invest in it. But also, don't be impulsive right? with the idea that just because it's having a green day doesn't mean that you need to invest I mean it still has a lot to prove. Uh, and we're far from the goal of showing actual signs of a recovery, right? If you look at this on the day chart, it's still extremely bearish. It is very oversold, but the cheap can always get cheaper.

and this is why I still have a light position. My position size is less than 10 percent, meaning that I intend to invest with over 200 thousand dollars in. Tesla That's like if you trade with ten thousand dollars and you take a position that is less than one thousand dollars. So again, stay calculated, stay light, especially during an uncertain time.

Doesn't mean that you need to be afraid of taking advantage of an opportunity. but again, just just understand that things can always get worse before they get better. But what is also causing the market to go up today? Well, there's two series of reports that were released that were the Initial Claims Report on the continuing Claims I've explained this many times. every part of my Learn Plan Profit Group You should be well aware of exactly what these are Initial claims: are.

unemployment claims for the first time. So the number of people that have filed for unemployment for the first time. That's what the initial claims report is. This is reported on a weekly basis and the expectation was 220k and the actual was 225k.

So actually more people than expected our filing for unemployment. So indirectly, that means that probably more people are becoming unemployed. This is bad for the economy. This is good for the Federal Reserve.

Remember, the Federal Reserve wants the economy to feel the pressure. They want the economy to slow down. I'm not mistaken. our current unemployment rate based off of the last unemployment report is 3.7 percent.

The Federal Reserve has a goal of 4.1 to 4.3 percent unemployment. That means that in 2023, they want unemployment to go up. Please on understand that right now bad news is good news and good news is bad news. Continuing Claims Continuing Claims again for the past week.

This are these are the number of people that have continued to file for unemployment. not for the first time, but that have continued. Uh, the previous was Uh 1669 K and this time it was 1710k. So again, a little bit more than our previous week.

For those people that have continued to file for unemployment, not just for the first time, but that have been an ongoing unemployment claim. So I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of what is the reason that the market is actually going up. and there it goes. It's actually still indicating signs of an uptrend.

So I'm going to buy another 500 shares here. Give me one quick second. so another 500 shares which is about 8 500, there's indication of an uptrend. again.

One of the things that we're trying to pay attention to is when the NASDAQ Market actually breaks above 11 000 for the NASDAQ futures, that's going to be the next Milestone We might experience a resistance level there, but if we do break above that, then we should be able to see more higher highs and maybe a closer day to that seven to eight percent day.
