I would do it because there is guaranteed protection and if we help a know person then relationship gets stronger ๐ช๐ช๐ช
wish I was on this level, definitely sounds good, both parties make a profit win win.
Most importantly you helped a friend achieve a milestone…so yeah…it was a good move!
If you feel the contract is iron clad, and you don't mind owning the car if your friend happens to have an aneurysm in that week. Sure, But a few thousand dollars isn't much leeway if the car didn't sell or was damaged.. Supercars deprecate quickly. I did similar things for friends, loaned them money and used their vehicle as collateral, they ended up writing me a hot check when it came time to pay/get their car back. Then I filed charges they went to jail and I made 20% when they were forced to pay. But it was a huge headache and not worth it. I had another friend that bought my motorcycle, he wanted to do payments. I refused to let him have the bike until he paid he paid me within 2 weeks and took possession. All worked out fine that time. But I've learned the hard way to be very cautious with friends and money. I have friends that still owe me after 15 years
why doesn't the borrower just wait for one week?
It's not worth over 150K—once you buy it it's used and the value drops 20-30% Now you have a 110K that you have to sell. Super cars are the worst "investment"
Ur damn right I would help out a friend!! That's what friends do!!
You cheap basterd he is your friend you should have just let him have all of that 150000 as a gift.
hell yeah id so it profit is profit and when its personal reason it makes it a better feeling knowing your helping out as well making a little $$ in the mean time
From the outside looking in 1.67% on your money sounds like a bad ROI. When you break it down though, it becomes a situation where youโre putting some of your money to work to help someone out in return theyโre helping you make money on money that would otherwise just sit around. When you break down how certain this return becomes in such a short period of time it starts to make a lot more sense. I like the way you spread your investments and get creative like this. Nice work Ricky!
I think you made a smart decision!! Even though it was a small return it was a SAFE return and overall like you said you got best of both worlds and your friend was satisfied!
No brainer this is an asset bringing 2500$ WHY NOT???? Stay smart no amount too small for profit remember where you come from!
uh no why?, it is your worst investment…
So what actually happened? You lost the lambo or profit you was planning on making?
I think you made the right decision. Even if it were only 1% profit for a 1 week loan, that's still approx. 4% per month, and 48% APY, which is way higher than the 12% average hard money loan. Plus, the very fact that you are doing this as a favor to a friend gives them a reason to want to do a favor for you in the future. Not to mention, you are learning if you can trust this person in the future with more important deals. Even if you made $0, the relationship alone may have been worth it. You also took all necessary steps to protect yourself, and like others have said, worst case scenario you own a $150k car which you have to sell yourself.
If you donโt take risk then youโre going to be set back in life! Always take calculated risk and know your numbers on the deal. Looks like your got both solved. I would definitely full send it
Free money why tf not
Yes I would do it
percentage growth is always good
1.67% profit in one week makes a great profit average. If you had that profit every week of the year you'd make a total of 86.84% per year. The fact that he's making that 1.67% in one week is the key here. I'd sign up right now for a 1.67% a week.
Stop doing that if they want to buy a super car tell them to go to an authorized dealer or why you donโt open an Exotic car dealership thatโs a better idea
I personally would never do that. Too much money for a sports car as a loan & even if he defaulted, $2500 is only a good trading dayโ-not worth this stress. Give loans to people who are really in need for food, a roof, & other necessities other than just a cool car.
yes
Good investment + the favor for a friend, i would do it only if my friend was trust worthy
If I was at least 80% confident I would at least get my money back in a week, I'd do it.
Heck yeah. Love it. To be part of a new super car and make some cash. Why not!!
False clickbait WILL NOT grow your channel.
Atleast have the thumbnail in the vid for a min. I've seen people come and go on here for years, just a tip.
Exotic Car Hacks ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Not just no but HELL.
What platform do you use car ๐ LMAO
Looking forward to the "REST of the STORE" !!! Hope it turns out well for both of you.
IF you reply me that i can be RICH THAT WILL MAKE MY DAY! ๐๐
I'm more or less confused. Are you some sort of gap funding until he finishes out the paper work for a traditional auto loan through a bank/credit union?
If your friend can afford it, i'm confused why you became involved in the first place.
Cars are not my thing so I would not do this. However, seeing your success in the auto industry, if you deem it worth your time and the downside is minimal, then I say full steam ahead! Profit is profit no matter what it looks like.
I would also add, I know very few people who make $2,500/wk with the amount of work you put into this deal. It is not $2,500/wk, its $2,500 for the amount of hours you worked on the deal. THAT is what would be truly ideal.
No doubt I would do it if I had the money just laying around. $2500 is still a good chunk of money to me.
