Welcome back everybody! Today we're going to be talking about Watchless and I want to share with you a process and a methodology that I think is very very productivity enhancing because I mean many, many of you are probably struggling with this right now. It's like hey, you'll hear, keep Watch Us Keep Watchless but some a term I've used is like Watchless Sprawl. Okay now all of a sudden you've got maybe you've got 150 tickers in one watch list or maybe you got 10 watch list with 15 tickers and it gets to the point where back to like deal. That urban sprawl idea just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

Never contracts Well how you gonna trade I mean how you get identify an actionable trade if you got 150 stocks on this watch list. So that being said, I am lead trainer with stocks trade Tim Bowen Stocks to Trade The software platform I've been representing them and doing live webinars for over eight years now. It is the best platform to not only build and manage watch lists, so check that out, but in these videos. I Really kind of get into the nitty-gritty of of really trading.

you know, getting consistently profitable, seeing better results, and a lot of that is based on again having the right process and having the right methodology so that you can capitalize when there's you know, when the Great trade opportunities out there. and I'm a huge fan of Watchless and one there are a couple things I'm going to talk about and number one is sector based watch list now. I Actually do this outside of stocks to trade, but actually use Google Docs Okay, uh, check out if you if you look into Google Docs and Google Sheets and the finance function. Okay, what is great about the Google Docs Finance function? it's free now.

Keep in mind it is delayed, but that's why you use your stocks to trade along with it. So I build these watch lists together. The Google Finance data is delayed by a few minutes. You can always Bop over your stocks trade for real time.

But what I love about it is you have about I think there's about 15 to 20 different operators that you can actually do logic based on. So now I can look at my EV uh stock watch list and I can actually start doing operators and looking for stocks that are trading unusual volume. Maybe they're breaking out on the daily. uh, maybe they're uh, actually you know going red to Green on the day and I can do a lot of that, especially for those bigger watch lists.

Actually, the AI watch list is a good example. recording summer of 2023 and AI is just the the sector is exploding last. I Remember I think I had 102 stocks on the artificial intelligence watch list. So by using that logic and those operators in the Google Sheets I can actually kind of just keep the top five to ten actionable plays at the top of that list.

that I can then suck over in my stocks to trade and actually trade them. So that's tip number one. Definitely check out the Google Finance uh uh Google Docs sheets Finance Function Now on that note, give me a comment below. Would you like a video getting more into the technicals of those formulas and that logic that I run? Just give me a you know, show me more about Google Finance in the in, the in the link or in the comments.
Cool thing about it is 100 free. So next thing I want to talk about is what I call the Rolling Watchlist methodology. Now this is more day in swing Trader Friendly and a little more outside of what we would call sector based. These are kind of like the hot plays because what happens with a lot of Traders Maybe you're familiar with the day three surge pattern or the week open red to green pattern two of the highest probability.

Best absolute best trade uh chart patterns out there for anybody I Don't care if you're a new intermediate Advanced But the thing with the day three Surge and the week open ready green. these are what we call multi-day patterns. Love that because of the high probability of success. Listen I Love day oneers, we call them Day winners.

That's that stock that gaps up big in Pre You'll run. makes this massive run. goes from like a buck to four bucks by 10 am. But you know what happens with most of these.

A lot of them fade midday and then gap down the next day. So you really got to have good discipline and good management risk management to trade those. Day Winners I Typically ask beginners I'm like, man, avoid that shiny object I mean I know there's a 200 percent low floater gapping up today, but focus on the multi-dayers and that day three surge pattern is obviously a day three pattern. It's that big gapper that survives into day two and then re-breaks out and then the week.

Open ready greens can be multi-week even multi-month patterns. I Think of a stock like uh, AI the ticker AI That thing has been a weak, open ready green I Think like 50 out of 60 days. Which means it gaps down, goes green and runs. So if you can know how to keep those stocks on your radar, you can be ready for those moves.

And the way I do that is with What's called the Rolling Watchlist methodology. So what you're going to do is you're going to create five Watch List and you're going to label it Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday Now with those watch lists, like let's say, today is Monday For instance, since I'm going to come in on Monday and the very first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to look at the Monday watch list now. keep in mind that would be all the stocks from last Monday a week ago Monday all the stocks that were the biggest Runners the stocks that survived the stocks that were weak, open, ready greens, the strong stocks from a week ago. and what I'm going to do is I'm going to look at those stocks that are still what we call hanging around because that's that day three surge or that week up in red to Green This is some stock that went from one to three last Monday and it's still at three bucks on day seven.
Man, that is a top watch so that one survives now. Vice Versa if there's a stock from last Monday that was that one I Talked about that, went from one to four and closed it. two in gap down the next day and the volume's completely gone. That sucks.

Dead We Delete it so we keep the ones that are hanging around and we and and we delete the ones that are dead. no volume, nothing going on and most weeks you'll have those probably remember most days I should say there's two to three stocks that need to be your top watch. Then what I start doing is rolling back through all the other days and looking for that same thing Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and I bring those stocks over then I add in the day one place now if you're a new Trader I wouldn't even tell you. add the day ones in I Would just say save those for the next day.

but now I've got a basket of stocks this Monday morning. usually six, seven, eight stocks. I Mean it varies. If we got a hot sector, there'll be more.

That's a nice manageable number that I can look at for those day three surges and those week open red to Greens and I know I've said it three times. That is the highest probability setup out there. Uh, doesn't mean they all work, but when they work, they really work and then we just repeat that every day and then what happens is you'll like next. Monday I Might have a stock that got rolled over back to back weeks and this is a stock that's hung around.

Now you know this is a low priced biotech that's still trading good volume two weeks later. Oh, two weeks later. I Mean you know what penny stocks do? They all die. Those are the ones that go absolutely parabolic and create epic short squeezes, but people miss them because it falls off their radar.

Okay, this is a stock that maybe has been sideways for a few days and you blew it because you weren't using the Rolling Watch list methodology. So that being said, my friends, if you want to know the hot Socks today, you want to know the hot socks from last Monday You want to know how to build these watch lists and actually see these watchless built live? Most definitely with the multi-day runners, it would be sweet to be able to avoid some of the silly "bags" I've found myself in over the years. If you could help out with the rolling watch list thing, that would be awesome. I tried something similar to this and had some success, mostly with my swing trades. However, it would also be nice to pick more of your brain Tim, on these different formula's in use for finance ๐Ÿ™‚
