Kevin, I locked in a 5.625% Mortgage in the last wedk of July. My lender told me that if I were to lock that in today, then it would have been a 6.8-7% rate… Crazy times! Keep up the good work!
No way the 10 year plummets to 2% unless there is more infinity QE, which in my opinion is highly unlikely to happen as inflation would rear its ugly head yet again. If anything, the Fed would likely pause once Powell rate hikes reach the target of 4.25% to 4.5%. Then again, if inflation is still not under control, the Fed could continue rate hikes even higher. A pivot with actual rate cuts likely won’t happen unless two things happen- inflation has been under the 2% target for a sustained period of time AND the economy is in a deep recession. It’s hard to fight inflation over 8% when the Fed funds rate is still 3.25%.

Houses are disappearing by the dozens, currently, in the Palm Beach County market. Weird stuff to watch all these videos, only to online search my area to see 1,100 sq feet for over $300k LOL! we're down 6.5% in my county in colorado, april-september this year. with all the rate hikes, would you expect to see more than that? or would the fact that its colorado and traditionally a hot market negate that? also up 33% march 2020 – now with an avg sale price of 705k in april and 659k in september.
