Good morning allegedly squad, thank you for joining me today. My name is tom, your friendly former senior financial analyst, currently a full-time youtuber here to bring you the biggest bangers from the stock market and boy do we have some today there's so much to talk about before we get started an important disclaimer? Don't click? Nothing! Don't smash, nothing don't subscribe to. Nothing, don't buy nothing. I don't have anything to sell anyways.

Just listen up. Focus on me. Give me your attention for the next five minutes, because i got some goodies for you today. You don't wan na miss we're gon na, be talking about massive changes to bitcoin and banking, janet yellen, causing a massive avalanche of dark trying to peddle back, unsuccessfully we're talking about mama kathy buying up more palantir through the dip, and we have a phenomenal video from A smaller channel on youtube that shows the problems with the ford mach e autopilot or whatever it's called.

We absolutely have a lot to talk about shout out to everybody who's here this morning, before we get started just an important disclaimer. This is just my opinion, might be, inaccurate might be wrong, might be the ramblings of a madman. You got ta, do your own research, allegedly blah blah mother effing blah, because my name is tom nash. Allegedly shirt is in the merch store by the way link is going to be below, let's get started so for the first news we have to talk about what happened with jen and ellen.

So janet yellen went on tv and said this. It may be that interest rates will have to rise somewhat, to make sure that our economy doesn't overheat, even though the additional spending is relatively small, so i don't agree with her, but what she did yesterday was damn right ridiculous. I don't want to say anything more than that. I hope you understand what i mean, because she literally went on tv, saying: hey we're about to raise interest rates now mind you, that's not her job she's, the head of the treasury, the guy who's supposed to make these decisions is not her is the guy who Took over her job john paul now at this point, the market of course crashed down.

Like my grandpa. After a few shots of vodka, it went down fast like timber now. What happened afterwards was nothing short of hilarious, because literally jerome powell said no. No, no! No! No, no i'm going to read you his come in the second, but pretty much.

That was his comment. Then i said hey. This is not what i meant. Don't listen to me.

I don't know what to talk about. This is the ramblings of a madman. Let me share this whole story, because this is nothing short of ridiculous. I can't believe these people are running our government and monetary policy.

Oh my god, so check this out after she said that the nasdaq fell two percent now two percent for the nasdaq. In a day, you got ta feel that pain. Yesterday we saw it across the board that specifically hit the tech stocks. We love much more.
Why i'll just explain in a second for the new guys here and by the way if you're new. This is a little bit fast paced, but you'll get used to it. Don't worry so when she says she's gon na raise interest rates. The biggest casualties of that will be the tech stocks, the stocks that have their upside in the future, because higher interest rates mean that, when we value these companies, those future earnings in five six seven years are worth less today, because the discount rate - the interest rates.

We use to actually bring those back to today in order to perform evaluation are higher when you have higher discount rates. The current present valuation of future cash flows is lower. It's kind of counterintuitive, but trust me just remember this rule of thumb. High interest rates, bad for tech companies right anyways, she crashed the market yesterday and what happened is later on? Basically, she said: hey, i'm not in charge of this policy.

Basically, what she just said is hey. I didn't mean to do this. Sorry, you shouldn't listen to me, who am i anyways? I don't even set these policies. I was just talking out of my blues right.

Anyways check this out geropol the fed chair, he came out basically said not even thinking about thinking about higher rates until the labor market recovers from last year's economic downturn. This means he is essentially saying: hey ellen, doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. Don't listen to her because i think she definitely misspoke. She had no intention to cause that crash.

She was just being brutally honest and that backfired on her. Now on a more substantive level. I think she actually has a point. If you take a look at oil and other commodities, everything was in the massive rise.

I think we just saw a 17 rise in oil last quarter, so this is kind of pre-inflationary signals that the market is heating up. So she wasn't completely wrong. I'm just saying she was too honest: she shouldn't have said that on tv, i've been saying it for months, we're about to see higher inflation, it's inevitable when you have a massive reopening of the market, and that is going to lead to higher interest rates. The only question is not, if is when, but she shouldn't be saying on tv, it causes our portfolio to go kaboom, not a good idea.

I think jerome powell is definitely taking the better policy during the whole. I can hear i can see i can smell we're, not even thinking about interest rates. I think the bottom line here she might be right - that's probably inevitable, but every time she goes on tv and points out to that all the speculative manic depressive people that are speculating the market are going berserk, pretty much leading to this instability. Let things be janet.

Let the guy in charge of the monetary policy just do his thing. That's my conclusion, and now let's talk about palantir and i want to talk about two things about palantir number, one: we're going to show you what kathy wood did yesterday, not surprising. She bought a million and a half more shares of valentine, i'm just looking right now on the screen. Another million and a half talk about buying the dip.
But beyond that, we're going to talk about the pan tier insider selling, narrative there's a massive narrative that palantir is heavily into insider selling, which is completely false. If you take a look at institutional holdings and mutual fund holdings, you see that there's some big-ass players there blackrock vanguard jp morgan, a lot of institutionals, but if you want to talk about insider selling in the past three months, we had 30 million shares sold by Insiders a lot, but we had 120 million unchanged shares bought by insiders. So in the net we had 90 million shares bought more than sold by insiders. So the whole narrative is total bs, not to mention that alex carp and peter thiel who people like to say.

Well, they sold so much of their holdings. I think they hold about 90 each of what they initially held. They had to sell a little bit to get some cash. I mean they've been doing it for 17 years.

We have to talk about this insane video. I found it on reddit it's from a smaller channel, i'm gon na put the link below and on the screen for you. They have about 1 000 subscribers go and subscribe to the channel they're, showing a demo of the autopilot system of the ford machi, and this is nothing short of embarrassing in my opinion, essentially what it seems to be and i'll. Let you judge for yourself is some sort of a weird lane assist kind of adaptive cruise control system that they call autopilot or co-pilot whatever.

It is beyond the point. It seems quite dangerous with no chiming and warnings and notifications. It just seems weird glitchy, like what you would expect from a car about five years ago. If you were tesla driver, but again, just my opinion might be wrong, might be inaccurate i'll.

Let you watch the video decide for yourself and go subscribe to the original creator, because i think you did a phenomenal job of this video. Absolutely a fan. Let's get him to 5 000 subscribers. Why not highway? I use it probably 60 or 70 percent versus in my teslas.

I would use autopilot or fsd um. I use it like ninety percent, even when i'm not on the freeway, i use all yeah almost consistency. I'm definitely i'd. Definitely do that too yeah.

So the reality is this car, so far is just not as good as keeping its lane. It doesn't adapt speeds to corners, oh really, not yet it will, but that's coming with blue crews, where it'll actually adapt to corners right now, if you're going, you know 75 down the freeway, it's got a sharp turn reasonably. You should slow down to 55 right now. This will not.

You have to do it manually, wow, that that's kind of scary is this using cameras. It is uh, i believe it's using cameras and radar. Okay, the two cameras looking forward two on the sides and one facing the rear kind of like again autopilot uh one hardware: could you engage it right now in this area? Whoa, whoa, whoa? Okay, it's going really close to that car yeah too close. There's somebody hot that was a different okay, yeah there's like no visualization really right for when you're in autopilot yeah.
That's actually a really good point. Uh i've not even actually thought to call that out, but you're right. So my visualization is just here on the uh on the instrument cluster and it's just a couple bubbles. They don't really show you the cars around you, you don't know what the car is seeing right, unlike tesla, they kind of indicate with an animation.

Even if you don't have autopilot so right, it's definitely reassuring to see that the car is seeing things exactly accurately here. I just have you know, let's actually turn it on, it will see there we go yeah. I've got little bubbles here. It tells me it'll, follow the car by two uh two car lengths, but uh yeah.

I don't actually know what the car is seeing. It's a really good call out actually now, if i want to make a lane change too, i can turn my signal on, but now my my steering has gone entirely. Oh so now you do it manually exactly, but i don't love that there was no sound yeah. I should know that as the driver, but by the same token you know if the car was previously helping me now.

Suddenly it's not, and now it is again there's no noise wow. That is weird. So, let's move on to the last story of the day, bitcoin is coming check. This out.

Cnbc of all places, bitcoin is coming to hundreds of u.s banks this year. For the first time, customers of some u.s banks will soon be able to buy, hold and sell. Bitcoin directly, through their existing bank accounts and with banks joining to the party, that's pretty much a game over. We already had massive adoption by multinational companies by regulators, obviously by the retail investors.

Now that banks are basically saying well, there's so much money on the table. We can't just sit back and let other people enjoy it. We want our part at this point once banks, their lobbying power, their massive network is back in that game. Gg bitcoin is the mainstream currency.

All these arguments about regulation cancellation, all that stuff. That's it game. Over bitcoin is here to say massive news for cryptocurrency people by the way i'm part of the bandwagon, i really do believe in bitcoin long term. I know it's gon na be volatile for a while, but really really good news shout out to everybody.

Who's been watching the video shout out to the patreon channel members and everybody who made this possible. The shirt is in the merch store, go, get it low quality high prices just the way we like it, we'll see you guys. Next, video.

Yeah and the guy owning the majority of PLTR also sold 80% of his ownership of facebook back in 2012. Just because he cashed out 80% of facebook as an early investor didn't mean that facebook was a bad company to invest in. I mean look at the share price from 2012 to now in facebook. It was just right around 20 bucks. Now it is 300. Then look at short term. In 2013 it doubled. (He would have doubled his investment). In 2014 it doubled again. I mean this is a guy that chose to take 80% of his investment and put it into other things even though the share price of Facebook was doubling year after year. One of the companies he invested in was PLTR. Yeah he could even give up ownership and invest in something else. But that doesn't mean PLTR wont double… and then double again… and again.

Come on Nash! What do you mean by insiders buying more than selling? That’s inaccurate. Insiders are being granted so many shares that’s the truth. For instance Karp got a billion dollars stock compensation in 2020 and at the same time the total revenue of PLTR in 2020 is about 1 billion. That’s too much! We love the company but let’s be honest.

You're a smart dude. Consider this… Central banks and central bankers (past and present) don't do anything in a vacuum. Yellen was either sent or was the volunteer to run a trial balloon up about interest rates. She knows it's not her business anymore and from a politically correct perspective would never have said anything unless given the green light by Powell. They're trying to figure out what type of market reaction to expect when the time comes they actually have to turn the money machine off…

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Fradin says:

Tom ….. do you really think that interest rates can stay flat forever? It's obvious they will be going up and relatively soon. You don't think she should be saying so on TV, as if it already wasn't widely known. Then you say you can't believe how ridiculous our government is because she actually spoke the truth.

It's so funny to see all of these new cars coming out and the design of their interfaces and interior and adoption of lane change all types of driver assistance features they're all influenced by Tesla and all trying to catch up you know I work for Tesla many years ago and people always said that Tesla was not a game changer and of course we know that now that it is but it's just so awesome to see everyone else scrambling

Thanks for your humor Tom. Added to your insightful revelation of facts & interesting insights not presented anywhere else this really is great stuff.
