You’re only half right about the money. Spending more doesn’t cause more inflation. It’s the supply that matters. If supply is capable of keeping up with spending there is no inflation. We’re seeing inflation because supply has been unable to keep up with demand. Largely because COVID causing worker shortages. Without workers you can’t increase production. It matters where money is being spent, not just how much is spent.
