The stock market is already 25% down so far this year, but it could get a whole lot worse.
Last night AMD published their Preliminary Q3 Results and this could be the first signal that demand is being destroyed a lot faster than anyone expected.
AMD's Client segment saw a 53% drop in sales quarter on quarter - an unprecedented fall as consumers stopped buying computers and processors in the last 3 months.
Is this the first sign that a recession is coming?
Is the 2022 stock market crash about to get a whole lot worse?

I’m going in more with VTI. I have more than 20 years in horizon.
Nothing to do with the crash in crypto mining?
Doesn't make any difference with market makers. I've seen it so many times huge losses stock goes up
selling covered call to make some cash. I dont care if my stocks drop. It'll be fine in the long term.
Sasha what are your thoughts on Tesla going forward into Q3. Would it be wise to sell now with cost basis of 250 and look to buy back in at 200 if you think well get there?
Come on Stock market – Dow … get back to 10,000 where you belong!
Hey man I love your theory, this is really gonna help a lot of people. Thanks!
I think lots of people bought new computers and phones during the Covid lockdowns. That's why there's weak demand right now.
Clear and logical as usual!. Elon wise I always have to bear in mind 2 things a) he has proven himself to be a really smart cookie, an extremely hardworking and master chess-player and b) he operates from a different dimension because he is on the spectrum. I therefore v careful not to judge him by usual social norms and expected CEO behavior. Uncomfortable with his actions, yes. Concluding that he is doing things because of the usual cause and effect, no. It's like playing against a grandmaster, need to think very hard and clearly before each move.
Stocks are falling and bond yields are rising, but markets still don’t seem convinced the Federal Reserve will pursue plans to keep increasing interest rates until inflation is under control. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $117k stocck portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
Bull markets climb a wall of worries.
Good luck in the coming storm all.
Thank you!! Unbelievable times!!!
What is AMD's global market share? In terms of PC and chips sales?
hey Sasha. I've tried reaching out to you via email and Twitter for a while. Would really appreciate it if you could have a quick look!
We need a big company to die to hit recession and come out of it could be AMD
It can't go on forever…. 3 years was longest recession. How long have we been in one.. nearly 12 months now
Wage demand is not fucking rare and it has been happening every year. Stop with the bullshit dude. In my state everyone is getting a pay increase to help with cost of living. So far we’ve gotten $4 dollars. Also is fucking common sense that pc demand is low this year. Every bought tons during COVID why the fuck would they buy a new one the year after. 🤦🏻♂️
wondering if you still stand by your hate towards Chicken Genius who you stood out on your channel when he saw all this. While every youtuber was saying buy the dip he said to not. If i get back in now I would be way more ahead then any youtubers that have been saying buy the dip. Have you reached out to apologies for your misinformation you provided? I do appreciate the information you provide but not at the expense of taking down good youtubers who try to help.
Despite the dip in crypto, I still thank you for the level _headed financial advice. I started forex and crypto investment with $4,300 and since following you for few weeks now, I've gotten $30,700 in my portfolio. Thanks so much Expert JENNY
My guess would be CPI below expectations… could help the market rally.. but the fear would be companies earnings…
I like you and i like the brutal honest takes on news and topics. That said l, i couldn't help finding the gloom and doom tone quite non news. While everyone was pumping content on a rising market in 2021, i was in disbelief of the euphoria. For context, i drive a 2011 Mazda 3 and i refuse to buy thousand dollar phones, when I can buy a new car outright if i wanted to. Cars are to take me from A to B and phones are utilitarian objects. I don't need to impress anyone. For that reason, i am also very prudent with my investing. Nothing is making me panic. I am up 36% from when i started in 2020. The market will have to drop more and even then, i won't freak out. In fact, this all seems quite the normal thing to expect after so much unjustified euphoria. And i have no economics background or anything.
I totally agree with you on this one, brilliant take.
Always insightful👍
Amd had competition from intel 12th gen. So client sector fell. Intel"s 12th gen was good.
Ye technology companies will lose a lot this year coz people choose food over them, so might worth look into food stocks 😆😆 especially in the UK which run by greedy cunts
keep doing these vidos!
I just started investing and this channel is such a gold nugget, it helps a ton in getting a deeper understanding!
My main take home question from this video was is it possible to chill without Netflix? I'm still pondering that one.
I wonder how much of the AMD drop is down to the migration of Ethereum, in turn drastically reducing demand for graphics cards.
Sasha such good news. You said at least a year of low prices. It’s fantastic!
Nvidia ex crypto cards flooding the market are going impact the PC market for AMD.
Much of this due to Ethernet going to proof of stake and the Bitcoin crash. I think this is less liked to Macro than to these two events.
You are my favorite financial youtuber! I can always count on you for GREAT information and GREAT insights. I mainly watch you, Andrei Jikh and Graham Stephan. I just don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers and views because your content is on par with the big boys.
Omg you so boring
