Tesla's Shanghai factory has just posted exceptional production results for August and is likely to set a new output record in September.
Rumours are heating up about a second factory near Giga Shanghai and if those come true, Shanghai would become the biggest car factory in the world.
Tesla is also thinking about building a lithium refinery on the Gulf Coast in Texas to build their own supply of lithium for scale production.
And the Tesla factories in Berlin and Austin are only just starting to ramp production so performance in the P&L and Tesla stock in the next few quarters is going to be very interesting to watch.

If Tesla did smaller more affordable cars their sales would explode. I would buy one in an instant. Really need a new car and only type of new car I'd buy as opposed to buying a used one would be a Tesla. Maybe the margins aren't big enough for Tesla? Shame as like I say I'd buy in a heartbeat and I'm sure loads of other people would too

The scaling of production in the next few months is minor compared to the $45/kWh Battery manufacturing incentive from the US IRA act that caused Tesla to pull the trigger on refining in the first place, and to shift battery scaling resources from Berlin to Austin. You didn't even mention these.
And then there's likely S&P investment rating upgrade following this quarter's earnings reveal, that will step up institutional investment over the next 6 months.
China production could fall off a cliff for some unexpected reason, and it would not impact my long term outlook, due to these other two factors.
This has been coming at an extremely predictable rate. Tesla isn't "exploding" and your hyperbole isboth juvenile and offensive to intelligent viewers.

The macro everything is just to messed up.
It honestly doesn't matter if tesla doubles production, releases cybertruck, releases new model, starts producing optimus, ramps current factories, opens new factories, starts mining and refining, it's still going below $170 per share in the next 12 months.
Another great video Sasha, would you be willing to let us know what % your TSLA holdings are in relation to your total investment portfolio? Is it more the 50%?
My only gripe with Tesla is how slow Berlin and Austin ramp is. Thought they would be doing much bigger numbers by now. I would like to see them get off China's nuts a bit.

It’s all about the cars and the twitter. The energy section of tesla is primed for a trillion dollar evaluation just on its own. You can see it daily on the news. Heat waves and power outages and grid problems and droughts cutting hydro power. 85%of the world uses electricity. The sun shines daily. Plus all the EVs need it forever. The ev rush will bring the power demand.

Shanghai. China, right? However, in comparison, Greg Abbott versus chairman Xi, on balance Xi supports abortion, limits screen time for kids, supports same-sex marriage and LGBT rights. Cool dude outside of the Uighur genocide and the likely invasion of Taiwan. Fun fact: Abbott sued a tree company and won a payout of $400,000 +13 grand a month. Of course, Abbott later supported a cap on punitive damages. What a circle of pricks.

The month-over-month inflation increase for January through June was about 1%/mo., which would be an annualized rate of about 12%. In July the monthly increase was 0.0%, and in August it was 0.1%. 0.1%/mo. would be an annualized rate of about 1.2% inflation. So the market over-reacted to the August number, which was born out by today's rebound (the following day).

Most of my money is in Tesla. A few years ago, I would have called myself crazy, for not diversifying enough. But today I think, diversification is a method to reduce risk. And the risk-reward ration of Tesla is just the charts. Today I reduce my risk not by diversification but by better understanding, what I am actually investing in.

Well done . As a Tesla investor and now all in on Tesla the only limiting factor for Tesla is enough material mined for large scale production
It uses more fossil fuels to make a Tesla lithium battery than it does a gas car but over time on the road electric cars don’t put out any pollution. BYD sold 100k more cars than Tesla last quarter, with Elon’s childish behavior I don’t see why anyone would buy Tesla
