When ramping up the production of the model, 3 pass labelled a permanent sprung structure or what ela must calls a tent, this was done in order to house an extra model, 3 assembly line which would allow the company to reach their goal of producing 5000 model. 3S per week with the ramped up of the model Y Tesla needs to build a similar structure and Elon Musk is using the recent lockdown of the Fremont factory. In order to make these upgrades the company's recent moves point directly towards of Fremont Giga factory upgrade hasla. Recently filed a major building permit application that is worth twenty, seven thousand nine hundred thirty seven dollars a permit application.

This large usually means that there is a major construction project going on on this application. Tesla says that there will be civil sacs that include site improvements and foundations. However, this isn't the only permit application that Tesla has submitted. Over the past few weeks, they've been continuing to file a multitude of permits.

On March 25th, Tesla filed a permit application for a project called the Tesla five-day expansion that looks to provide improvement to the existing body in white manufacturing line for increased production capacity. Essentially, what this is saying is that Tesla needs a permit in order to improve one of its current body in white production lines. Another permit application on March 31st shows our Tesla is improving its module and pack production, as the application says that the permit is needed for platform extension, a module, packed line, location, an edition of H for room on April 3rd. Another application was submitted for the installation of a model wide conveyance platform for phase number 3.

At this point, it's pretty clear that Tesla is expanding its model wide production capacity Tesla also submitted plenty of permit applications for its South PaintShop, for example. One permit is for the utility infrastructure development in preparation for restoring the former body paint operations. These paint operations will be key to mass producing model wise in the future. Along with the paint shop, Tesla has also submitted applications for a general assembly line named G, a 4.5 with all of Tesla's previous assembly lines.

They've continuously named it G, a in the number of the assembly line. For example, when Tesla was working on its fifth assembly line in the female factory. They named it G a 5. This makes the name G a 4.5 quite strange.

The GA 4 was the assembly line located in the 10th that was used to ramp up the Model 3, leading many to believe that the G, a 4.5 is a model y version of the G, a 4. In fact, just last month, Tesla reported that they were planning to create something similar to the model 3 sprung structure. So it wouldn't be a surprise if Tesla's team was taking advantage of the recent lock down to make these upgrades at this point, you're probably wondering what the sprung structure is and what the advantages for having one are cheaper cost. When talking about the model 3 sprung structure, Elon Musk posted a tweet.
That said, they also poured the concrete and built the whole assembly line using scrap we had in warehouses and it's way better than the other Giga factory line that costs hundreds of millions. The low cost of building the new model wire sprung structure, both increase profit margins, fire monument or mount last time in another one of Elon Musk tweet about the model 3/10. He stated that a new building was impossible, so he built a giant tent in two weeks. Since it has been over two weeks and Tesla is still filing patent applications, this leads me to speculate that the model wire assembly line may be even larger than the previous model.

3 tent comfort. This is definitely less of an advantage and the others, but it's worth noting that Elon Musk did say that the model 3 tent was more comfortable and also offered a great view of the mountains. GA 4.5 Likely going to do a split for Y & 3 for Interior finish work, so they only need to stock one set of panels on each line, and not similar parts. OR a seperate line for X&S which have now substancially lower volumes. But if we are really looking to the future, it could be for a coming roadster?

After the shutdown Tesla will have to ramp up several additiional PLs to stay in touch with the 500k goal for the year or better to outperform it because 504k will not make wallstreet buy the 1000$ pricetag on the share by Jan 2021 whereas a 550k or 600k inspite of corona will.

They're not secretly upgrading the Fremont factory,.. they are publicly/openly upgrading it.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MarcAFK says:

If they're still using the tents for model 3 production it makes sense that line 4.5 would be upgrading the line 4 to not be inside tents.

Love this, man anyone who isn't taking advantage of the massive opportunity right now to buy incredible companies like Tesla at steep discounts is going to regret it massively! I personally have been doubling my position in Tesla throughout the recession, I see them being in the 3-5K range in 5-10 years.. and guys this is literally the best time to double down and focus while most people just get distracted & lope around watching netflix all day.. so many massive opportunities out there, just remember more millionaires were made during the Great Depression than any other time in recorded history! Lets make it happen guys!!! 💪🤑🔥

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Iz mark says:

Oh, I heard that about other companies needing upgrades as to not lie dormant. But they can't , they're broke and Elon has em by the nads…or pretending to be broke, to get Trump's freeby corporate socialism kickbacks.
Reminds me of the sign on the center dash in his Roadster in the sky. "DON'T PANIC" and he's not
Ain't nothing gonna stop that boy. I hope he invents 200 year longevity pills and he's the first one.
