Tesla and Elon Musk are Cheating. As simple as that. This is how Elon Musk and Tesla are blowing everybody out of the water during one of the hardest times of automotive companies.

I don't find anything "cheaty" in Tesla behavior. For me, the bigger question is how the credits are calculated? How much of the car emission destroys our climate? Should we care? Is it only emission? What about the environment cost of producing cells themselves? I have a strong feeling that the tax is neither fair nor required, but mainstream agenda doesn't care about the logic.
Hey man, that R&D/car numbers you got there doesn't contain the entire picture. While big OEMs have a sustainable R&D due to their size, Tesla's numbers of cars sold has potential to scale up by a large percentage, which means that number will go down substantially every year they open a new factory. Also, the numbers don't equate to the quality and hype of the speed of technology innovation.
you are such a renegade content creator. I love that you cut to the chase in the beginning then Segway to the analysis. I watch the whole video any because i think you are smart and have a lot to say. real and down to earth. everyone should smash the like button, we value your time too tom.
Tom, that fact that the title is pure clickbait based on the information you gave in the video and you said you never do clickbait is why you just lost all credibility
I'm curious if in driving the fossil fuel industry out by not only furthering the impact of Tesla's influence can create a reversal of that value when the payments stop leading to it being overvalued. Is that the argument for it being a bad 'investment' in terms of holding almost indefinitely? I would love someone to help me understand.
I must say the table was disappointing
This is the pretty much the same concept as oil companies buying ethanol RINS. Didnโt know it existed for car manufacturing!
Lmao how is that cheating? Thats business bro you only get ahead by stepping on another company
If people donโt know who you are by now they donโt deserve an introduction every time so please for your loyal subscribers sake….Stop telling us how crazy you are for quitting your job to become a YouTuber and how you value our time and just do what you do and say you are gonna do….Thank you my friend
Sorry bro. I like your channel but this is kinda click baity. As a tesla fan as well, we this is known strategy and not cheating.
I love hanging out! With Tom Nash ๐
Ok, gotta downvote on this one. Don't ever do clickbait title
You are awesome thank you broski!
This is great to call out.
I think most people interested in Musk and technology knew this but still. Great to see numbers and more details.
Gaming the system…
Tom nashsky is click baiting, thatโs not even a real beard.. he glued pubic hair to his face.. the truth is out
hm the other OEMs are also putting their research money now in electric cars
The big problem with carbon emissions is trees need carbon dioxide to survive and we need trees to survive. Imagine if all the carbon was removed from the the earth trees would stop growing mass extinction like what happened in the ice age but before it the earth had life all over it. Most newer cars ( fuel burning) puts out no carbon monoxide just co2 just like the human body and any other animal. Now earth will expel its carbon emissions in volcanoes. Is the government going to band lightening strikes and volcanoes? Yes carbon emissions like carbon monoxide is bad. Now look up the origins of the carbon dioxide emissions ( every thing that puts dioxide in the air ) now the human emissions is higher than it was in the past ( more people) now let band all cars than when the levels go put kill all animals over 1 ton then drop 100 pounds every ten years because people are over populating the earth.
The analysis is spot on. Telsa really knows how to spend money efficiently on growth. These credits will come to an end from the competitors eventually, and that's why they spending pretty much all of them on R&D as soon as possible. It's literally utilizing competitors' money to grow their own business.
However, to be fair, the title is clickbait ๐
Thank you for the great content keep going !
Best video on Regulatory Credits out there on the internet!
Tom,
My income requires me to infiltrate places and use clandestine trade craft . I can die . I have about 50k willing to lose.
I need to find something that will be around in 40 years that I can smack this into and leave for my family if I die working. I know this is a hard ask, but can you give it some thought.
I have a job coming up soon that I donโt have a good feeling about. Please consider sparing some attention for this.
Be well
Hey man, u don't need to zoom in your head on the camera, its so huge…
amazing video! ALLEGEDLY!
Litt
everything good but that excel sheet is stupid. That's bad comparison because volume of tesla is nothing compared to Toyota. By that measure Nikola has infinite amount os r&d per car.
