There's a lessor known, or barely known, statistic that the 90 percent failure rate is exclusively for male traders. Female traders have a quadruple success rate of their male counterparts. About four out of ten females who trade succeed. Of course all these statistics don't breakdown how long someone has been trading, or how successful they are, or what they trade, or their style. Either way it's a challenge, but I think the takeaway from the male v female statistical variance is for men to leave their egos at the door when they decide to pursue trading. You will win some and lose some, but how you win or lose will determine your success.
Good point about people feeling they can master it. That’s me lol I’m 2 months in. About to have a baby so I feel like I won’t have time after but I work from home so have a lot of time to research. Cheers for the future!

I'm apart of that 90% at this very moment, but that's okay, I'm in it for the long run with an entire journey ahead of me. 10% here I come (and to be honest, I want to be apart of that 5% that ultimately could probably make a good living from stock trading alone).

But…. Electrical Engineers and Electricians are different things. I don't think you'd want an electrical engineer wiring a building
