Don't see the point in going and spend $700 on like Gucci shoes. So I end up saving about 99% of my income just because my income is so high. and I keep my expenses so low. The one thing I would disagree with them on is buying really cheap clothes that's okay for jeans and a t-shirt maybe but every once in a while buy a spectacular piece is going to last you your lifetime.
I Like to buy great suits I Want to look good but I don't waste money. All my suits are the same I just have 25 of them. They last forever.
But he’s old and bald and who gives a crap what he wears. I do agree you need good pieces of clothes but no reason to spend an arm and a leg. And the young multi millionaire should wear better clothes.

I think the comment section shows difference in perspective.
He is a public figure, his brand is built on his profession, he needs to look this way to generate more income. Buying expensive suits in uniform style that last him a long time saves time and energy from having to plan out what to wear, when to wear, how to maintain.
Its cheaper in the long haul than the fast fashion people buy and the time and energy spent on maintaining it all. Theres enjoyment in fashion sure, but you have to evaluate the cost and judge for yourself whether its worth it.
Shoes too. One pair of quality hiking shoes lasts me a year or two for everyday use and i know my health isnt going to be affected by it. it cost more up front some times, but its cheaper in the long run.
Its more expensive to live cheaply. So he is definitely not wasting money
he is not saying he graham doesn't own a suite or not to buy quality ever he is talking about overpaying for a designer lable. I low income and I mostly thrift but there are times when I recongize a place buying quality adds value to my life so I spend there. often a designer lable is only a higher price not higher quality.

think about it, if you were a millionaire 20 suits is a very low amount for all the stuff you attend in a year hes making them last, most millionaires ive seen have well over 20 suits and they aint cheap!
