No stay here for the video, hey everybody trader bryce here with the small cap recap a different small cap recap today than normal. As you can see, um i didn't even get my laptop laptop out because i didn't trade today i closed out one position. I had overnight uh on uvxy, which is an inverse leverage etf that goes against the s. P, 500 um and, as you probably saw today, the s p 500 went straight down through that 450 support crack 450.

At one point, i actually don't even know what it's doing anymore, because i was checking for my phone for the most part um and that's why i'm making this small cab recap a bit shorter today, i'm actually at matt monaco's house right now hanging out with some Friends of ours, but i want to do, is just a quick short little recap, and this is like a good way to show that there are some days where it really is better off not to trade. I actually i technically did place one trade for like five minutes at the end of the day, as you saw for those of you in small cap rockets on iobt made like between uv xy and that trade, i think about three thousand dollars today, and i know That sounds like. Oh, he didn't trading made three thousand dollars. I would have been very content, not trading at all.

Today, um i was, i happened to be doing some q, a on small cap rockets, and i saw that chart and i figured you know what this is something i'd work, i'd like to give a shot on and uh, and i was probably in it for three Minutes max so that being said, like it's okay, to have days where you're simply not placing a trade um the market. Right now for me, as i i talked about a tui tip on stock streets instagram yesterday, like the market, just isn't it's choppy for everyone. It seems, but my setups just aren't even trying to present themselves right now and when they do, they don't work. So it's like.

Do i really want to just keep losing money um, and the answer is no, quite obviously so, don't be afraid. Like that's today's small cap, recap is really just not about not being afraid to like step away completely. It's something i've struggled with for a long time. I always said i'm gon na step away when the market isn't there what i wanted to be doing, and today i finally did it um, and i hope you guys can do the same if you're losing money right now, don't be afraid to take a little bit Of a break, this is like a great way for me to mentally reset a little bit, not lose money, and honestly i mean matt here is talking or planning a trip if this market stays slow um and it's because it's just like.

Finally, you can get away from uh from the markets a little bit like i'm doing today, even just hanging out in this house, i'm not sitting in front of my screen and i don't know if i've ever felt this mentally clear. So i know this is a really weird small cap recap, because we're not looking at any charts we're not looking at we're, not even in the studio um, and i apologize for not having a cocktail for cocktail friday. We're gon na make it up because matt and i are gon na start working from home on friday, so we're new thursday. Thursdays, i think, is what we're gon na end up doing, um and so we'll we'll do the moonshine next thursday, or maybe even like monday, on small cap recap to make up for it.

But i hope you guys are able to do the same thing again. If you're doing well right now keep trading, i know a couple traders that are trading really well in this job and like that's great for them, i hope like if you keep doing that, keep doing it, but we have people. People mocking me. In the background, it looks like um, but if you are, if you're not doing well right now, like i said, don't be afraid to get away, i personally took a decent amount of money out of my account uh just so that i could be forced.

If i wanted to take a trade, it's gon na have to be smaller size. So that's today's entire small cap recap thank you to nicole, which is matt's girlfriend for filming this for me, and i hope you guys all have a gr. Oh, i thought i heard matt coming down. I thought he was gon na join as a special guest in his own house um.
