Stock markets like NASDAQ and NYSE allow people to start trading at 4 a.m. EST. Premarket lasts from 4 a.m. EST until market open (9:30 a.m. EST). Pre-market trading can be done but there are dangers and you should approach this style of trading cautiously.
The first factor to focus on is liquidity. You can use StocksToTrade screeners to help filter out illiquid stocks. AVOID stocks that are illiquid, because you might get stuck in a trade that you can’t find a buyer for.
The second thing to be aware of in premarket trading is the stocks’ news. Many times, premarket movers are spiking on headlines that traders haven’t taken the time to really research. Sometimes this “news” isn’t news at all.
The final thing to pay attention to in premarket trading is a setup called the dip and rip. You'll see these stocks that spike quickly, and you get the early profit takers around the market open. Then the stock can stabilize and re-trend towards the high of the day, during that 9:45 a.m. window.
Remember, make informed decisions when participating in premarket trading, avoid trading illiquid stocks, understand the stocks’ news, and never rush into a trade.

In Australia its pretty much the only time we can trade 🙁
I found your comments on the 8 AM Rush very interesting. It seems like exactly 8 AM. The NASDAQ stocks will either go much higher or much lower. Could you elaborate a little bit more?
Shorting these gaping stocks is the absolute worst thing you can do, don’t try it!
Thinks Tim I really watch for good news low flaot high volume like KALA there is a lot out there but you and Sykes are good mentors my cousin Dan is disabled and I talked him into STT he quit smoking because you gave him something to do from home Im the sensei in the morning I did martial arts for 42 years most of it was Jiujitsu I join because you are a black belt in stocks so to me your my sensei .

Great video!!!
well said! i feel like this gentleman could also very well do a JUST FOR MEN COMMERCIAL
Good morning , first ty for the video . Second I have a question that I never get lucky to be answered clearly and I hope this time it might be. Let’s consider trading 212. As we all know there are some stocks that you can trade premarket and afterhour , but not all. Let’s consider a stock that you can’t trade premarket . You can anyway place a “pending orders” and here comes the question. If I have a stock that is trading at (for example) 100 $ per share in the premarket but trading 212 doesn’t allow you to trade that stock in that moment and you place a pending order to buy one stock at100$, then the premarket continue the stock reach 102$ per share and the market open and the stock is at 110$ . Your pending order will be filled at the price you placed your order so at 100$ and you are already gaining those 10$ as the stock it’s now at 110$ or it will not consider at all the time of that order that you placed as pending and will be just filled at 110$ ? Ty
Thank you for this video, it’s very well explained.
I still got a question: when selling in after hours or in premarket, on limit order, at what price will the sell be executed?
not yet
Can you buy pre market then sell open hours?
Thank you sir!
I am very new. Just learning the pre-market. Lots to learn
How come I can't trade in the a.m. until 6am (7pm eastern), and yet others have already traded. I wake up….pre-market says the price is 'such and such' and yet—-wait a second…..I am not able to trade. What gives?! How is this fair?
good video!
Funny to look at this video now in 2021. All fricking stock go up x10 in pre-market if the headline even says " Hey this company can make your boogers edibles"
STAHKS
absolutely not, most pmm reach a high and consolidate before market open
This guy's alluring. Thanks for your content!
thanks alot for this, helped me understand much better than before, in just 5mins
No newer trade pre-market stocks
Where can I find premarket charts downloads?
Can I buy and sell stock in premarket hours?
Or will it be fulfilled at whatever price it is once the market opens?
The stocks I'm into have most movement premarket hours and I would love to buy it cheap in premarket then sell it right before the market opens when it shoots up.
Where do you get your pre market info , which sites?
Have you traded pre-market? Have you done well? Let me know, yes or no in the comments below.
