I thought we were supposed to implement stop losses at 1% to 3%. Why did you skip your stop loss discipline and lose 5%?
Mostly i think that Tesla is being held back by Elon's SEC contempt charge. Profit and demand are concerns but secondary issues that the stock has dealt with since its ipo. Tesla without Elon is a potential unknown that has buyers on the sidelines watching. Tuesday their should be more news on this case.
Instead of swing trading stock why not just swing trade leverage etfs that offers same returns and have less risk involved anf the patterns are more consistent. Thats what i do tbh

Fucked up day trades turn into long term swing trades…
Its always tricky entering swing trades when the overall market is that high, sell offs are inevitable. Tesla wont crash and burn anytime soon it will go above $270 eventually.
I was swing trading TSLA as well, mainly because it was too oversold with a bullish Morning star pattern and it being too far from the SMA's and nearing a major support level. Im expecting it to test that support level before going for an entry with a bullish candlestick pattern.
As a swing trader from my perspective it's a good buy opportunity.
Although it is highly probable in a technical standpoint to reverse up, the overall market saw a big bearish candle on friday and could also react to it making it go lower seeing how we're at a resistance level. If we can see a breakout in the market this could increase its chance even more.
I still want to buy Tesla stock!! but with caution..

Iโm assuming you are looking at the 1 year chart using a horizontal pattern but still no confirmation of a reversal imo you broke your own rules. Not trying to sound rude just curious as what you saw value in
@Ricky Gutierrez Iโm curious why you even opened the position at this current time you preach not predicting a reversal looking at 5,20, and 200 day MA there is no sign of a up-trending pattern…

I mentioned I made a small profit on a TSLA trade 2 weeks ago when you made your first TSLA video. I mainly sold (for profit) because I believed it would go down with the market the next couple days.. and it did. I was suprised by your TSLA purchase and intererested to see if you could make profit during that period. Good luck Mr Rick.
