So lets talk about the Q3 earnings from Tesla. This is going to be a deeper analysis instead of the quick breaking news coverage you probably saw a lot of in the past 2 days. The real question, which nobody seems to worry about on mainstream media, is how good or bad are the actual results, beyond the miss in revenue and beat in EPS.

Giving dislike for the click bait title

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Hirsch says:

you will hardly need to lower the price of the 3 and Y…the economy will get better and tesla will sustain a 4 or 5 million sales rate of those models at premium prices (luxury car sales are about 18% of market = about 14million vehicles…the S, X, 3 and Y should be able to take nearly half that number) while also selling the new Qompact model starting in 24 or '25. the ramp of this new model will be extremely fast. also, cybertruck will be selling like crazy. and also… batteries will ramp crazily so the energy sector will grow. and then after a few years the bot will actually be a profitable item in industry…and so forth.

    And FSD, Energy, Optimus… 🫶🏼

Earth weather had never missed the forecasts by meteorologists – its meteorologists who keep failing with their prognoses.. Same with Tesla earnings report and "analysts" forecast..

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Arnout Bolman says:

Under 203 usd, I will sell Tesla too. In fact, probably sell all shares portfolio. Seems an international banking crisis is brewing in Swiss…

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars qkktech says:

Tesla is undervalued. Demand wise they add 2 new models semi and cybertruck ant that does that revenue trick in 2024/2025. Tesla has 2.5 years to show something new. In that 2.5 years they get battery production running and price per kwh drops 50%. Tesla gets 10B from guvernment in those 2.5 years maybe more. 1B in quarter. Those cars cost 7k less that adds demand. 38k model 3 is close to that average selling price and there is hudge demand issue in meaning of shortage. Tesla is focusing US market in next few Years and they do right. EU has energy crisis so they have quite no soare electricity generation right now that means when transportation converts and heating converts EU must duple electricity generation by 2040. Adding power to US grid is easier than in EU since EU canot do it by installing solar. But even knowing that Tesla has no demand problem right now and in future also

Tom, I love your points but I'd like to go further than Model Y being the biggest car by volume in 2023, but "Compact Model" that was confirmed by Elon will be half the price and twice the volume next year… What would it mean, and have we doubled down? I think so and see no reason for Elon to lie.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris says:

And that's why you are selling all your TSLA stock…

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars bonzaion21 says:

I'm waiting for tsla to be under 100$ to buy. There's a massive head and shoulders on the monthly

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars maxx93 says:

Competition will be decimated with rising interest rates. Easier to sell cars, especially considering a lower priced model.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jura Dosty says:

25-35000$ car will be robotaxi.. And do not forget about cybertruck = instant several milions cars for selling

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lowness125 says:

you didn't mention anything about selling all your Tesla stock in the video. What price are you planning to buy back in? or never?

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Derek S says:

With the shift to renewables a given at this point, show me a company, any company, with more upside potential over the next 5 – 10 years. At these prices I’m a pig at the trough.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars GS Strategies says:

    Great factual video Tom

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sharon Kong says:

Claiming bigger than Apple and Aramco combined sounds desperate.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sharon Kong says:

TSLA be $175 and then under $100 would not surprise me if SP 500 at $3000 or lower. One should hedge if still owns.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kurt Wendler says:

I do not like the exposure Tesla has in China. My son and his family have been living in China for the last 15 years snd and we are dealing with a mad man in Chi he is insane and he and Russia are engaged in a tag team match with us and s setting us up for a walk into Taiwan black swan. I hope I am wrong but the insane Covid is all there is shutdowns have created complete control of people in China and they will invade sometime in the next year and we will be unable to react and because of our addiction to Taiwan and China we will collapse. Tesla and other China dependent companies will be state owned because we may try our punitive trick on China but they really will not care because they will take more than we can take.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Cam Kupka says:

Man the Tesla cultists are so delusional and emotionally attached to this company. It’s bizarre. Wait til you guys see what Tesla will be trading at end of the year and end of 2023.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sylvain Tremblay says:

Too many risks so there would be bumps in the road. For me Tesla is still too expensive. Would buy maybe around 150.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars dalanscott says:

So, you never discussed the selling of your Tesla stock. Are you selling all of it? Cause I'm still buying, and I thought you were smarter than that.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars AdamN says:

TSLA is still priced at around 3x the largest auto manufacturer. No matter how much analysts twist themselves into a pretzel trying to justify its price, it’s simply too expensive for even the most optimistic future potential

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ken Gaffney - Raider of the Lost ARKK says:

Thanks Tom. I’d rather have your “delayed”, coherent breakdown, than a rushed, sloppy version like I have seen from others.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alfred Spic says:

    Nobody cares

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Peiman Ghofrani says:

    Inflation is heading down?

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Charles Evans says:

I have a Cybertruck on order. Still buying in the dip. My goal is to sell half my stock and knock my payment down below 800 a month. If I had a million in cash right now I'd dump half of it in Tesla. If they do a buyback the stock will soar.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Russty Russ says:

Inflationary proof, maybe not, recession proof, maybe a bit because they still have backlog orders to fill. Haven't heard anyone mention that. So much going for this company. Added today at 204 and have an open GTC order for 180, if it gets there fine, if not fine too, it's my 2nd biggest position.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Capital Moving says:

tesla stock is not priced to perfection! it's HYPED to perfection.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mohammad was illiterate says:

Am buying all the Tesla stock I can for the next 10yrs, they are easily growing fast with industry leading profit margins no debt and massive demand. 🤣🤣🤣

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Richard White says:

I don't get it did Tom miss the part where they were designing a car that would be half the costs of the 3/Y

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Liz S says:

Agreed, need to bring that next generation down to around 35,000 but the cyber truck will help with that as well
