Yikes, This isn't good for Google Over 60 percent of Google's bottom line income comes from search and advertisements on websites people go to after they search for something. If artificial intelligence makes people spend one tenth as much time on Google and visit one tenth the websites because they get results rather than search. Guess what could happen to Google's revenues? they could fall by a factor of 10. that's why now Google is scrambling because as the Times reports, Google just realized Samsung is considering switching their default browser worth an over two billion dollar contract over to Microsoft's Bing.

Apple with a 20 billion dollar contract could do the same. And so now Google is scrambling to try to come up with an AI based search feature. a complete rebuild of Google that a lot of people are wondering is Google's moat forever gone?.
