I'll tell you i learned a long time ago. The number one thing that's always served me is my personal psychology, and that comes down to what i'm saying to myself the questions that i'm asking and the way that i move my body you're a leader, i'm a leader every single day, whether you're talking about being A parent you're talking about being in business you're talking about helping somebody move forward in their life, we're all leading in some capacity. So my question, for you is: what are your rules for being a leader i'll tell you i learned a long time ago. The number one thing that's always served me is my personal psychology, and that comes down to what i'm saying to myself the questions that i'm asking and the way that i move my body.
What i'm saying to myself, i'm walking into a meeting, am i getting myself fired up for the meeting? Am i getting myself calm for the meeting? I'm saying something to myself to make sure that i'm putting myself up here in the right emotional state, the other one, is the questions that you're asking yourself. If you're asking yourself questions like. Oh, my god. I hope this meeting goes well or making any statement like that you're already putting yourself in a position where you're not leading you're, not being the person that can move the needle forward.
That can solve the problem that can help that person get from point a to point b and the last one is your physiology, and i remember listening to deepak chopra so many years ago. Talking about this, this connection between the body and the mind even say you know if you move your body in a powerful way, you're going to act more powerful, you're going to do things that are more powerfully. But if you move your body in a timid way, think about what he was saying or tony robbins who's made his entire career on like right. The bottom line is this you're leading i'm bleeding.
What i know is number one. It's your personal psychology number two. It's your energy, whoever has the most energy is going to influence the situation. Those are just a few of my rules.
My question for you on this monday is: what are your rules for being a great leader? You.
