Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior

What's up everyone? All right? So here we are. We are in right now: the fourth week of Hot Momentum and you know, I'm looking at my calendar here and it's like $8,000 day, $8,000 days, $7,000 day and today I'm up 5,200 bucks I was up 7,200 which was great I Loved averaging seven to eight thousand a day. but then I took that last trade and lost 1,800 bucks. So boom down to 5200.

And at that point I was like, you know what? That's it I'm calling it a day. it's almost 11:00 a.m. But as I look back on the month of June you know those first two weeks were gosh, they were so slow, barely averaging $1,000 a day. I had a week where I only made $1,800 it was $700 one day, 600, the other 300 the other.

And then you know here you are three. four weeks later and the averages are like eight, eight thousand dollars a day. It's crazy. So to me what it is is it's that Evan flow of the market when you're in a hot market traders.

They all collectively see this opportunity when I see stocks moving 100 200 percent each day. Guess what? I do I take bigger share size and I'm more aggressive at my entry points and I'm just one trader. You multiply that mentality by a hundred thousand traders and that's what creates the exuberance that we see in the market during these really powerful hot streaks. So right now, fourth week of the hot streak, I'm loving it.

But I know that inevitably things will slow down. We will get that A little bit of a cool off. traders start to, you know, maybe more stock start to pop up and get slammed back down. Short sellers get a little more aggressive and maybe the ebb and flow shifts to the short side.

And if you trade both long and short, well, maybe you can be pretty consistent. straight across for me. I Only trade to the long side and there's a couple reasons people ask me this all the time. The first reason is that I sometimes trade in a retirement account and in a retirement account I Cannot short stocks.

you're not allowed to. so that's the reason. Number one reason number two: I use Lightspeed as my broker. you know, back up there.

And the reality is Lightspeed even though they're a terrific broker for my strategy, great hotkeys, really fast executions. They don't have a bit availability of all of the the small caps, so a lot of these low price stocks in the $2 to $5 range, the shares aren't available. So if I wanted to trade at a firm that actually had the shares, some of them have a minimum balance of $50,000 Which means if I was trading there, that'd be good for me. But for the majority of our students, you wouldn't be able to follow along on those trades.

You wouldn't be able to take any of them. and it wouldn't really benefit you that much to see me trading a strategy that you wouldn't be able to trade yourself until you had $50,000 in your account. you know. So that's reason number one, Reason number two, and reason number three I guess for me is I see the market more clearly to the long side.
It just makes more sense to me to be a buyer. and I think that's kind of being like a righty or a lefty. You just kind of one feels a little more natural than the other. And so that's why a lot of traders fall into either the camp of being a short seller or being a long biased trader.

and I guess I'm on that side. There are some traders they can go back and forth and I give them a lot of credit for it, but I've never been that way. So those are the three reasons that I focus on the market mostly the long side, and I guess the fourth is that it's there's nothing more frustrating than losing on a long position, flipping short, having it go back up and losing on the short side. When you look at your P&L and your read both long and short, you just feel like you're really screwed up.

so that's just a very frustrating feeling. But anyway, so you know today's a day where you know market was pretty strong to the long side, made some good money and we'll break it down in our midday market. recap. Any questions, any comments? leave them below I Read them all and I'll come back and answer them later today.

All right. Enjoy the recap? What's up everyone? All right? So we're gonna do our midday recap for today: Finishing the morning up: five thousand, two hundred, five dollars, and Nine cents. Another awesome day of trading. I Mean this is eight thousand dollars yesterday.

Or seven thousand whatever was seven thousand eight hundred. Great day yesterday. Another great day today. You guys can see real quick the PNL here.

So up in the top left corner, five thousand, two hundred five dollars on seven stocks. You know what? I was up seven thousand before I Took that last trade on ye CO and gave back eighteen hundred bucks. So it was almost another seven thousand dollar day. But you know, gave back a little bit of profit on that last trade.

And that's okay. You got to know no one to hold him, no one to fold them, no one to walk away from the market, and overall, just another really awesome day. So here's what's really exciting you guys who are watching these recaps. You're seeing this.

You know this opportunity. Trading every single day. You may not realize it. There are hundreds of thousands of traders doing exactly what I'm doing coming into the market each morning, opening up their account, taking a couple of trades a day, and making some money whether it's 200 or 300 a day for newer traders or it's a thousand to five thousand a day for more seasoned traders.

Every single day there are traders coming to the market making money, right? So there's this opportunity and what I want to do is I want to teach you guys how you can capitalize on the incredible strength that we see every single day in the market. We really are in this new stock market economy where the market has never been more accessible to average people then than it is right now. I mean think about this I live right now in the Berkshires Western Massachusetts and you know I live up in the woods. and for someone like me, thirty years ago, the stock market was not an option unless I wanted to go work on the exchange right? unless I wanted to go work on the floor.
And so the fact that from you know in my house and now my little office here in the Berkshires that I can access the market and that I can trade every single day it is absolutely incredible and so so many of you guys you know you guys are located I'm sure all around the world some you are in different places in the United States some of you guys are international. You guys can access the market just like this right on your phone. You can be accessed in the market so with the access to the market the problem is a lot of people don't have the education to know how to trade it correctly and so they end up making mistakes and so that's where I Really want to help you guys. So what we're doing tomorrow 1:00 P.m.

Eastern is we're hosting an Encore to the workshop that we hosted in June We had an amazing turnout at that workshop. In fact, we had so many people that a lot of people weren't even able to get in because we had a cap on the number of seats available. So what we're doing again is we're hosting an Encore tomorrow 1:00 p.m. Eastern The link is right below in the description.

Those of you watching right now on YouTube and I'll put the link are on Facebook I'll put the link in the description for YouTube as well I Want you guys to go there right now and register? This workshop is going to be awesome. Not only gonna be teaching you my three secrets for trading the markets, how to manage your risk, how to find strong stocks to trade, and how to take your entries. I'm also gonna be giving away some really cool bonuses I'm gonna give away a copy of my best-selling book to everyone who attends. and I'm also gonna be giving away over $10,000 in bonuses to help jump-start your career as a trader.

So those bonuses will be: access to our chat room, access to some of our premium classes, access to the simulator, access to my live trading archives, etc. Alright guys, so I want you to register? The workshop is gonna be awesome. It's totally free, but seats are limited. We're limiting the seats this time so everyone that registers can get in and have a great time.

All right, So that's tomorrow 1:00 P.m. Eastern All right. So let me put screenshare back up and and we can start going over my trades from today. All right, let's see.

Okay everybody, All right. So trades from today finished in the morning up five thousand, two hundred, five dollars and nine cents. Not bad at all. but I was up seven thousand dollars before this this last trade on ye Co And so once again, the market, you know, kicked me out out for the day with a little bit of a you know, a slap.
and that's that's how the market keeps you humble. Even when you've been doing this for years and years and years and years, you're still gonna come in and you know you're still gonna have losses. You're still gonna make some mistakes here and there and you're gonna get a reminder to trade smarter to trade better. Today's a day where I know that I could have done a little bit better I said that yesterday I said that the day before I'll probably say that again tomorrow I'll probably say that for every single day of my trading career I Always know I can do a little bit better and I can make it a little bit more money.

so that's a pretty cool thing with trading. I mean I'm at a point now where good day's average days are between 2,000 and 5,000 dollars. I'm averaging twenty seven hundred dollars per day every single day this year. in 2018, last year I was averaging more like I think fifteen or sixteen hundred dollars per day, which was good.

but you know this is this is even better. So at the same time, there are traders out there who are averaging. you know, forty or fifty thousand dollars per day. and they're probably trading at hedge funds.

and you know, trading big big large cap stocks. But you've got the whole spectrum and so every single one of us, regardless of where you are, you've got an opportunity to become a little bit of a better trader to be a little bit more successful. to harness your inner warrior. Let me show it to you guys.

the inner warrior here. It is right there. That's what it's all about. Alright, harness your inner warrior.

So I did it today and finished up fifty two hundred dollars. So let's look at these traits. Started the morning with a trade on a CH V Alright, so easy Chv. This was actually kind of an annoying stock.

I'm down $739 on it. It was on the watchlist, pre-market was looking at it for continuation. It was up this morning. a good let's see it look.

So let's let's just start from the very beginning. All right. So every single morning we start the same way and we'll talk about this during our workshop. But let's see, let me just run.

Oops. I'm gonna run a historical scan here. So the first step each day is finding stocks to trade. What's going on here? Why can't Oh, I'm just connected reset.

So first step is finding stocks to trade. So I'm gonna go to timeframe historical data and let's see 9:15 a.m. So at 9:15 a.m. this is what I was looking at in the market.

Alright, so I was looking at these two stocks MTX cell and ACH V they were our leading gaffer's gapping up 50 and gapping up 43% All right now. both of them have pretty low floats. MT SL I Made some good money on yesterday and it was setting up a little bit for continuation. We got this off the scanners yesterday.

Remember those scanners. Those are the Holy Grail That is how I find stocks to trade every single day. If I'd have those scanners I wouldn't have made a million dollars trading the market. I mean I Absolutely attribute my success to being able to find stocks in real time when I do that using scanners.
So this scanner this morning showed me these two stocks and MT SL pre market I Wasn't that interested because it had sold off too much. but I said if it can break over 450, that's where I might get interested. Well guess what, it hasn't broken over 450 today. it's just been consolidating so no trades, no losses, no winners, nothing.

Next one was a CH V. All right so a CH v what's up Jo palm I See you there and on Facebook right on that just been a member for a really long time. He was a member almost with him I think within the first year. So he's been a member for like four years at Warrior Trading.

So anyways, let's see a CH V I Was watching for a break over the half dollar over 550 for a retest of the pre-market high. So the bell rings and it pops up and what I did was I got in right here first anticipating actually was inside this candle I got in anticipating that we were gonna break over 540 and so I got in at 539 it dropped to actually a low of 506. so I was down 35 cents on 7500 shares which was you know, a pretty good sized loss. So I was down like $3,000 or knowing that gets $2,100 I sell some of it for a loss I'm like alright, this isn't looking good and then as it curls back up I add back what I sold at 36 I ended up adding back at the same price and it pops up through the half dollar and I'm selling at 54, 55, the 45, etc.

It hits a high of 60 and then it comes right back down again. So this stock was not easy. I was down fifteen hundred bucks when I had sold half of it at in the 20s and then I recovered seven hundred dollars of it. So I'm down 750 on this stock or 739.

So not a lot of follow-through on this one and someone asked me yesterday Ross why don't you state your gains in terms of percentages instead of dollar amount? The problem for me is that it's a little bit hard to calculate that way because I'm getting I take so many trades I mean literally here today I have 99 tickets. So that's basically 99 individual trades. so going through and calculating the percentage gain on each one of them, it gets kind of crazy. So I just sort of look at my total net profit on each stock.

but when we look at a stock like my OS or MD GS we'll look at in a second I can show you how much it was up percentage-wise from where I got to where I got out and that might help see a little bit. But anyway, so ACH V that was a $700 loss. It sells off and hasn't given me another opportunity. So I'm finishing the day down 700 dollars on that stock.

No follow-through so it is what it is. The next one on the scans was MD GS All right. So MD GS this one. It was a surprise move.
It wasn't on our hide a it wasn't on our pre market watchlist. but once the bell rang it ended up hitting our scanners which showed us in real time that it was taking off. So here we have it. hitting the scanners right here.

and when I hit the scanners I pull up the chart I look at it and I realize that it's got a pretty clean chart because it's above. it's moving averages which are all right around here 133 So I jump in at a dollar starter at a dollar 50 and I'm adding as it's moving higher. This ended up I Mean it really have a little bit of action pre market, but it's ended up being a pretty good trade. It went from a dollar 50 all the way up to 255 so you know that's that's obviously a really big move.

I mean that's you know, more than 50 percent. So 50 60 like a 75 percent move right there for me. I jumped in at the half dollar I wasn't sure it was gonna work. it hit a high of 89 and I was like okay.

if it can break over 89 then I'll feel a little bit better about it. but I was a little bit iffy that it hit that kind of it. sort of hit a little bit of resistance up there at 89. For some reason, this is something that I'll tell you about.

East Signal is such a pain is that moving averages disappear. You have him on your chart and then they just disappear so there's a 200 exponential. I remember that I was worried on this one that we were approaching the 200 moving average at 196. so I was a little bit worried there.

So I got in a dollar 50, I added a dollar 75 and then I sold some at 86 and 81 thinking that we were getting a little bit close to this resistance point of 190. Six, it dips down to the low of 167 and I sell. so I get out. but that surge is back up right here and I add back at 191.

So now I'm getting back in because it's showing strength I get back in as it squeezes up to 135 144 and then all the way up to 155. So in total, I made two thousand four hundred eighty four dollars on this stock which really is is not bad at all. So I'm happy about that. Win here on this one.

I did end up going back in. no actually I didn't I was watching at this area at 240 and I almost got back in, but then I didn't I hesitated and that ended up being kind of the right move because it did this sort of false breakout and then went sideways. but I would say you know if he can it's in a wedge right now so if it can break to the upside, you know it might have a chance at going back up to the highs the way MT SL did yesterday. There really is some possible some potential in this so and keep it on watch All right so that's MDG Yes next one was my OS This one also hits the scanners Bo SC hits the scanners as well I looked at this stock and I just I I wasn't sure about it.

the daily was okay but I had this sort of pre market chart where it popped up and sold off. so I kind of thought it was a little bit weak so I just ignored that one. My OS hits the skinners NDG yes on the scans Md GS let's see my OS hits here I look at this and I'm like my OS this is a former runner. This is a stock that I've traded in the past and done well on.
So when I saw it hitting the scans I was pretty quick to jump in. You can see here it hits a high of 232. So let's go down to this one. You can see all these trades.

so this one I jumped in at 176 and 179 after hits the scanners. then I add at 190. then I sell on the other half of the whole dollar which is very calm and take a little profit. take a little profit, pops up to 219 I sell a little bit more.

sorry, no it pops up to 219 I sell a little bit more and then I end up adding at 219 because I'm thinking if we can break 219, well now, 225, 230, maybe even 250 is realistic. So a lot of these trades are getting in, getting out, getting in, getting out, which for me is really common I've never been good at buying and just holding and then selling like one entry and one exit. I've never been good at that because I always want to take a little profit off the table when I'm green and then when I see it's continuing I want to get back in so that's just what I end up doing I turn shares and Commission cuz I get in and get out and get in. but it seems to work pretty well for me so you can see this popped up to a high of 232.

it then retraced is a good portion of the move and I was a little bit disappointed by that and so on. that when I was just like well you know maybe this isn't gonna work, you know it's It's selling off quite a bit so we'll just keep it on watch and Mark out high of day of 232, right? So 232 high a days of spot to keep on watch. So while that's pulling back I switch focus another stock hits the scanners. I HT I almost trade it but I hesitate ends up doing kind of a pop and drop type of move AEY hits the scanners and I jump into it.

It also does a little bit of this sort of pop and drop type of move you can see 8yi whoops hey-ey here I lose 1200 bucks on it I get in at a dollar 50 I add at a dollar 65 and I add more to dollar 78 thinking it's gonna squeeze up to to like MD MD GS and my OS but it ends up hitting 183 and then selling off so that was kind of ugly. ugly. moved there alt K also did this kind of pop and drop o PG n so we saw a few stocks and make these kind of or o RPN make it make these kind of moves where they popped up and didn't hold up which always makes me a little bit nervous. So I lost 1200 on that and with that loss I went from being up 3,000 on the day to being up.

oh no sorry I went from being up 4,000 on the day to being up 2,800 but 2,800 is still good and I was still willing to keep trading and keep looking for opportunities. So I end up getting back in my OS for the break over hi a day. Alright so my OS I kept it on watch. My order was still ready at 232 as it curls back up and breaks over hi a day I get in and boom you get that squeezed up to a high of 250.
So I even added on this little one-minute micro pullback but it didn't break over the half dollar and so I stopped out. But I made another thousand dollars on this trade right here and so I went from being up 2800 to being up 3,800 so added a little bit more profit. Alright now let's see the next trade was seed. Now this one's kind of interesting because I know the next trade was by OC So bye OC hits the scanners and initially when it hit the scanners I was like well I don't know about it because it's a 67 million share float but it's on the scanners it's moving up.

It's up 20% on the day so it's showing me that rate of change that I like it's already up 20% it's already moving and so I thought okay I'll take a stab I'm a buyer over 450. Alright, so it hits a high. it hits 450 and I jump in as I said I would. So what I tried to do is as much as possible I try to tell you guys what I'm gonna do before I do it because I want you to really be able to visualize it rather than having it always be.

After Now there are times where a stock hits the scanner and I'm buying immediately and so in those cases, I'm telling you what I'm doing as I'm doing it in real time, there's just not time to tell you beforehand. But whenever there's time to tell you beforehand, I'm gonna be buying over this level I'm interested over this number. I'll tell you that even if I end up not buying it, it's still the level that's interesting. So on this one, 450 was the breakout spot that I was looking at.

and I take a starter at 450 with 2500 shares and I try to add at 450. I tried to go to 7500 and then up to 10,000 but those orders did not get filled because it moves so quickly and then it was halted at 458. So is it halted at 458? That's because it had just moved ten percent in the last five minutes right now. No, just to read.

Go back a second. The reason I was more interested in this is because I realized it was a reverse split. So when stocks do reverse splits, they often put in this kind of post reverse split squeeze. We've seen it happen a lot of times and so as I started to see it squeezing up and I noticed it was a reverse split, I wanted to jump in and be a little more aggressive.

Alright, so by OC I'm in at 450 at the same time seed starts to move up and guess what seed is also a recent reverse split from yesterday. Alright so I see that one of them thinking alright you know this one's showing some strength I'm going to keep it and keep it on watches. so I first see it down at 750 and I thought you know that's that's interesting but the volume is to Bly and I'm not really sure about it and then right here you see the volume starts to come in. So in this candle as I started to see buyers at 777 $88 that's where I tried to jump in and I pressed the Buy button twice at $8 and I didn't get filled and then I added at 819 and 832.
So I chased it I mean I really bought it at the high a day and it ended up getting halted at 8:34 So I bought it right into the highs. This is then halted on a circuit breaker. Okay, so Talton again for moving up 10% in just a few minutes it resumes and hits a high of 934 935 as it resumed I added it 894 the break over nine dollars and I almost added again at 934 because I was starting to think this maybe had potential to go up to $10 but again you know it hit 9 935 it started to come down I took partial profit at 9:34 when I started to see a little bit of resistance and then I sold the rest of it at a 60 40 50. So I only made a thousand bucks on it, which is kind of disappointing considering it went from 8 all the way up to 934.

That's a pretty big move and I really only captured a small percentage of it, but a thousand dollars on that was was pretty good And so then Bio See also halted resumes and that squeezes up to a high of 551. So on this one I add on Bio See at 5:35 right here coming out of the halt and I'm selling at 543 and 535. And of course, the challenge there was trying to trade in two stocks at the same time, which is always a little bit difficult. It's just not easy to focus on two things at once and so my attention was spread and I probably didn't execute on either of them as well as I could have.

But but that's okay. They were both recent reverse split stocks and actually BIOS II had news I guess at 9:00 a.m. So yeah, I don't know what the news was there, but there was news seed I think the headline was just the reverse split from yesterday and then the last trade was ye Co So this one at this point I'm up seven thousand dollars on the day I see ye Co hit the scanner 73 88 and I said okay guys, if it breaks over 95, I'm a buyer, that's the spot I'm watching. So I put my order hat ready to go and I jump in at 9 at 89 and $3 which gave me an average of 95 and I added at 301.

I got a partial fill at 3:11 to sell and then I planned that I would add back over 312 if it squeezed back up and it ended up dropping all the way back down to 3 to 250. So I ended up losing 1,800 bucks is it dropped back down on the first red candle I was like okay, it's doing a 1-minute micro pull back I'll give it a second to curl back up. but but then it ended up dropping. So I had to stop as it broke below 70 and I got filled at 66 which was a little bit of slippage.

so and I even had to sell some in 54 which was kind of disappointing. So and the low is 51. so whatever that that was disappointing, but you never know whether these are gonna work or not. In fact, this one actually tapped the 200 moving average almost the penny.

But of course my 200 wasn't on my chart because for whatever reason it had fallen off because these signal is kind of funny like that. So whatever. Finished the day up five thousand, two hundred five dollars and I know I could have done a little bit better today. It could have been a seven eight thousand dollar a day if I'd been a little quicker I've been a little more aggressive and if I'd done better on seed.
So tomorrow is a new day right now. I'm up. Let's see about twenty seven thousand dollars on the month here it in week two, which is good and I'm up three hundred forty-one thousand dollars this year for Kendra forty-one thousand dollars this year. Not bad at all.

Up, Let's see six hundred seventy seven thousand in my small account since I started it in January 2017 with less than six hundred bucks from less than six hundred bucks. Just six hundred seventy seven thousand dollars in nineteen months of trading. Not bad at all. So the goal here this year is still to cross over 1 million dollars which will prove I was able to take six hundred dollars and turn it into 1 million in two years.

I'd still need to make three hundred twenty two thousand dollars in order for that to happen. but it's only July So I'm 341,000 green and three hundred Twenty two to go, you know it could happen. I mean if we have a really great month in August or a great month in maybe November December that could help me finish up this year really strong. So I'm hoping that I'll be able to cross that big line in the sand and give myself a big pat on the back and then take a little vacation because that would be a pretty pretty awesome thing to do.

So anyways, we'll see. you know, everyday is a step in the right direction. Another $5,000 is good. That's half a percent, right? So you know where we're working in small increments, but you know, just keep slow and steady.

Slow and steady. That's how you win the race. All right. So that's it for me today.

$5,000 another green day and we back at first thing tomorrow morning 9:00 9:15 for our pre market analysis and I hope you guys study up a little bit this afternoon because we're in a pretty hot market so it's definitely time to dig deep. Put the pedal to the metal and I try to capitalize as much as you can on these opportunities. Alright, that's it for me. I'll see you guys back here first thing tomorrow morning in the morning.

Oh hey, I didn't see you there while I was just working on the dream board for my next home run trade. Hopefully it comes soon. Until then, Make sure you subscribe to get email alerts any time I Go live or upload new videos. Until then, happy surfing.

Hi Ross! Could you pls help me to choose a broker? I have Suretrader vs Venom struggle. 500 vs 5000 min account. No routing vs good routing. Which one is more reliable? What do you think?

It's pretty funny…watching the chat live earlier, my wife and I were talking about how Shorts worked after seeing some of Roberto's trade. Great starting comments, it's like you knew we were talking about it, lol!

Next paycheck I'm getting a new laptop (been relying on my work laptop for other stuff and I can't install the broker programs, so it's time for a dedicated one!) I think we're leaning towards "Interactive Brokers" and will paper trade for a month or two, and then we'll be past the PDT limit and ready to Rock and Roll along with ya'll!!!

I know you gave an honorable mention to Interactive Brokers… just seeing if you have anything else to say about them? Any other Warrior Trader family members use them??? Pros/Cons?

Thanks so much for all you, and the WT team, do for us!

Do you have any advice for someone who mostly trade options? Is there a method I can apply when I'm trading under the PDT rule!?!

Hey Ross, great job again today! Had a quick question, do you ever put out sell orders while stocks are halted just in case it reaches that back in the mind profit target to take some off the table and moves really fast out of the halt so that your order is already out there? Hope this question makes sense, thanks!

Thanks again for these vids Ross! Being part of the warrior pro team has been the very best investment I’ve made yet. Morning trading w you and chat room is a great way to start the day, plus making money before the day the job starts makes it sweeter. Won’t be long before I’m a full time trader!

Hey Ross, can you Talk a bit about your strategy exiting Trades? For example do u use limit Orders taking profit, or market orders? Same goes for when the trade reverses, do you use market orders no matter what or do you start with limit orders. Thx in Advance

Currently working a pseudo reverse head and shoulders because of no margin so i can only go long, but hopefully that changes with more success 😉 thanks Ross, worst case I’ll watch them all.

Can you speak to how you pay taxes on your gains. Since they are less than 1 year holdings, they would be considered short term gains, which is considered taxable as normal income. Do you have specific strategies that you employ to reduce your taxable income? Also, how do you avoid paying broker fees when you buy stocks? I know some ETFs have no commission if the broker permits it, but for stocks that you are trading, i'm assuming you're incurring some hefty commission fees given the multitude of trades you take per day. Thanks!
