Warrior Trading // Ross Cameron // Day Trade Warrior
What's up, everyone? All right? Well, it's Friday and I'm finishing the week exactly how I started it. Red on Monday, Right on Friday. and I'm down 37 000 today. So I was down about 37 000 by the end of the day on Friday.
So those are two red days. 75 000 between the two. Uh, that's a bummer. Fortunately, I had 55 000 of profit on Tuesday, so that puts me down 20 grand on the week.
Well, but then I was up 6 000 yesterday. so I'm down 14 000 on the week. All right. Well, it's red, but it's manageable.
14 000 in the red is not a big deal, you know it's not fun, but it's fine. I can make it back, no doubt about that and but I'm not going to try to make that back today. Just not really worth it. I'm read on three out of three stocks today was not easy and the leading gapper, Zevo Unfortunately on that one, it just was not something I should have even bothered trading.
I knew it had a shelf registration which created risk and so my very first trade on that, I was down 6 000. Then I took another trade and lost on that and I was down 9 000. Then I took another trade on Zevo, lost again on that and I was down 12 000. And then you know I kind of took that Hail Mary trade and lost 25 000 on that and so that just crushed the day.
Unfortunately, that's it's kind of typical when you start going red that you start getting a little more desperate, you start getting a little more aggressive and sometimes it pays off. You know, sometimes it does pay off and then you go from red to green, but often times it doesn't and it didn't today. So I'm finishing the day down 37 000. it's a bummer.
I'm disappointed, but at the same time it's really. it's like one good day of trading. So that's where I'm at right now. One really, you know, solid day.
and yeah, that's I'll make that back. So you know when you sit down, you never really know if it's going to be a solid day. But today I had some inkling that it wasn't going to be that great. And for that reason, I took too much risk relative to the condition of the market today.
So anyways, that's it for me. Uh, Red Day recap. I hope you guys enjoy it. Hit that thumbs up as a reminder.
As always, trading is risky. Uh, most beginner traders lose money and even season traders like me have these days where you just get you know, nailed and everything is red and there's no no momentum so trading is difficult. With that in mind, trading a simulator before you put real money on the line and take it slow. All right.
I hope you guys have a great weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday. All right. So finishing the day, read across the board: Three stocks, Read on All three Acy was the last one I traded. I bought this five minute one minute breakout here.
added for the squeeze up high was 63. stopped as it came back to V whap lost 25 000. the trade before that Zevo took a couple setups on this. first one was pre-market but uh, I took a trade long for the break of seven here. fifteen thousand shares. stopped out at six Fifty Lost fifteen? Uh, let's see lost on that first trade. 6 000 on the 15 000 shares. Then I added back on this candle here for the second attempt through seven.
stopped out a second time on it. So down 10 grand on Xevo and Ufab took a trade on this for the break of four right here. and we got that red candle, hit a high of 408 and then all the way down to 362 low before bouncing back up. So kind of a bummer, uh of a day right across the board and you know it's one of those days where it was Friday.
there really wasn't anything that looked good. I probably shouldn't have taken a trades at all. The first, even on Xevo, I was looking at it thinking man, it's got a second. It's got a shelf registration for 125 million dollars.
We're probably going to see a secondary offering on it. I don't trust it and I proceeded to lose 10 grand on it. Acy was light volume but it was moving. I chased it, didn't get a very good entry and then it pulled back and you fab ufab.
That one just didn't work either, you know? So unfortunately just wasn't a good day And from the very beginning it was pretty obvious it wasn't going to be a great day, but you know I tried anyways. And um, so I just figured well give it a try And unfortunately dug myself a bit of a hole. So this week I was read: 37 000 on Monday, I made 55 000 on Tuesday. Um, and then I was up 6 000 yesterday and I didn't trade on Wednesday, so I'm really only up.
I'm red on the week I was up, so 37 30. So minus 80 000. Uh, in those two red days, roughly 75 000. But I was up 55.
So yeah, down about 20 grand on the week here. That's a bummer, but you know what can you do? You win some, you lose some, and that's that's part of trading. It's risky, but you know if you don't take any risk, you'll never take any trades at all. Look at that rejection.
Back down to 6 30. So you step up to the plate and you're going to have some winners. You're going to have some losers. And at the end of the day, if you make more money than you lose, you're doing something right.
I, uh, generally am doing that. So this week I'm not in the green, but I was had a good week last week and you know, I actually don't even know where I sit on the month right now because I haven't been looking. I sort of felt like I don't really need to look at what's what. is it? What's it serving? You know to look at your P L every single day where you sit on the month.
so I just haven't been looking. I don't really know, and at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. You know, if you know you're making money generally, then the exact penny of how much you made on one day or how much you lost is not really necessary. So I know that I'll be finishing this week slightly red.
and um, that's disappointing. But you know, one good day, be back in the green. So I just try to keep the losses manageable. and today, these are manageable losses. They seem big, probably to an outsider, but for me, this is manageable. You know, if you had a a monthly goal of 10 000 and you were down 3 700, you'd be like that's a big big loss. But I can make it back. And so my monthly goal of 100 grand being down 37 is not that big of a deal.
Uh, it's one good day of trading, so hopefully we have a couple good days next week. But you know, even if we don't they'll always be good days in the future. So that's the nice thing about the market. It's always going to be here for you, which is a reminder not to get too bent out of shape on a day like today to try to make back losses.
because realistically, given being read on three stocks three out of three, if I keep trading, I'm probably gonna keep losing money, so it's probably not worth going for any additional trades today. And if I had just jumped in zevo there thinking oh, this is finally the time it's gonna break seven, I'd be even further read on that one. So that's it for me, shutting it down. Red 37 000.
But we'll be back at it on Monday morning. Hopefully we have some better opportunities on Monday. I hope you really enjoyed that video and make sure you hit the thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. Our goal is to hit 1 million subscribers this year, but we won't get there without your help.
So please, please, please hit that subscribe.
Was a hard Friday Ross. I find that usually Friday's are slower than other weekdays. Thanks for sharing your results!
Quitting while youβre ahead, is not the same as quitting. Good thinking to take a break while you were still up for the week.
Canβt wait to see how much was made in September!
Hey Ross long time follower about to start day trading for real.
Curious if you find that you trade differently in bear/bull markets or if you really don't even pay it much attention as there will always be something going up.
Hi can you please make a video about how to choose the right stocks I have a problem with that thank π
just curious what happen to your daily maximum loss, has it been bumped up?
I made the mistake of moving my stop loss up from support on DATS friday, initial was 9.60, moved it to 10.30 after we had a higher low. Big friggin mistake, hit my stop loss, took a 1.3% hit then the stock went past 12 dollars. Will do better this week
i saw the Webinar Ross on Friday. It was great. but at 2,400, I still can't join the Pro Course. The cost is prohibitive. Gotta keep my acct. above 25,000 with my direct access broker. Who has that kind of cash as a new trader?
Would you be able to post a video on your trading setup? Iβm tried to looking on your past videos but I canβt find it. Iβm thinking of upgrading my setup and curios what you have. I trade on my Mac Book/desktop one screen and iPhone
6,000% in 3 months ??? There are two championships with thousands of people … AND SUPPOSEDLY ALL THOSE GUYS ARE FRACTIONAL COMPARED TO YOU??
G.m. Ross…sorry 2 hear about your big loss… I'm still trying the demo account , yesterday was my first good day..I made $ 133.30 .. I'm going 2 keep trying it.
hy,
Im Just a regular guy with a stupid question.
why is it that succesful trader with good strategies need to sale courses,?
how can they focus on trading and sale courses at the same time?
in a perfect world if l was a succesful trader,( im still learning) l ll keep making money and if l fltl like helping people, l would teach them and ask them to wire the money to charity
Hi
Do you use market order or limit order ?
The level 2 of these stock are too fast !
it would have been far more of a learning experience if there was more real time detail as to exactly what caused the failure in each trade
I have been Paper Trading using Webull for 4 months now.
All those months i have been in the green with my strategy, but at the end of the day it is paper trading.
As i live in the UK i cannot trade using Webull which is not available in the UK.
I have tried IBKR paper trading to do the same strategy as Webull but 90% of the trades never work for whatever reason, either being US stocks or not available to short which never happens in Webull…
I now have a sense of false success, perhaps Webull paper trading is trash and so am i at trading because if i can make it work on Webull it should work on other Platform too right?
Anyways thanks for the video as usual.
Great video. Glad to see you're not too bummed out Big Dawg. Have a nice weekend!
Do you have a discord π id love to chat with you! this is my gamer youtube dont mind the name! lol <3
Do you ever offer opportunities to get into the warrior trading program for free or a major discount? I have 5 kids and just recently this year got into trading/crypto and want to learn this and show them at an early age but really can't afford the class currently due to some bad trades this year unfortunately. Either way thanks for all the info and transparency man you are an amazing teacher with a true passion!!
thereβs no one on youtube like ross who tells their entry, exit and MtoM every dayβ¦
I have so much respect for you always posting no matter, and also teaching us where you might've went wrong. You'll get it right back Monday for sure Ross, have a great weekend!
I think we would all benefit from a "Gardening with Ross" vid like the old days…show us how to make some of that fancy red spaghetti sauce!
You sharing your red days lets me know that you are truly genuine. Thank you sir! Nobody likes making these videos Iβm sure. But they are necessary. They are real. And they happen. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom even on the bad days.
Ross i am more happy when you are winning and share with other in need!
I looked at ZIVO this morning pre market with top volume, I think 98% gap, but turned away because of no news What made you look at it?
I lost $800 with 1000 shares of DATSβ¦ I was really wanting to trade AMHC but I couldnβt get an entry because it kept going upβ¦ I forced DATS just wanting to trade but my cost basis is 11.66 and Iβm still holding. It looks fine on the day chart so no worries ππΎ
Traded MRIN for a .52Β’ gain, as a continuation stock from the amazing news 2 days ago. I'm looking forward to more moves come closer to 10/1/21. We shall see!
Ross I think you just proved out a case for having four day weekends πΊπ²
ACY was an odd choice Ross! high price and low volume…..guess it hit the HOD MOMO scanner? you sure chase some duds along the way….UFAB and ZIVO were in my top 5 picks though π
I can have teach you how to average +25% weekly average cash out minimum from Monday by Friday you will be up +25%. From $10,000 you will be at $130,000,000 within 10 months.
I shorted AEHR at an avg of 15.59 … hope it drops like a SACK of potatoes on monday open. lol
You make me look at my losses so different now…these are all i watch the losses and the drive and talk…glad i never gave up
I hate Fridays and on top of that you were trading breakouts. Seems riskier.
Amazing how transparent this guy is about his trading. Lot of traders on youtube who are genuine and highly profitable would hide their losing days from audience.
Just wanted to say, I love watching you every morning day trade! I lost to my emotions today, and the stocks weren't great but I traded anyway.
Sometimes the best trade is NO trade!
It's always frustrating when you could have taken several days off on the week or month and been green, but instead you're red. Can't say I have done any better. Hopeful for October.
Took a page out of John's book and didnt trade today. Not a single stock from the gap scanner this morning held above vwap. Awful day for momentum…
Proud of me for not trading on this choppy Friday…. is what I would have liked to say but no, I lost money today lol
